The regular staff and management are friendly and caring, but sometimes understaffed and could do with more help.
My brother could do with more help shaving and getting dressed.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

The staff have all treated my mother with kindness, dignity and care. They took such care in making mum comfortable and they also showed great thought for us. The atmosphere was calm and friendly, mum's room was clean and all of her needs were met by cheerful staff, which was exactly what mum needed.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to kindly write a review for Broadway. Your ratings and kind comments are appreciated. Kind regards
Whilst very frail on admission, through the care administered she was able to recover a lot of her independence until she finally succumbed to illness after a couple of happy years at Broadway.
When visiting the home, it is immediately evident that the residents are treated with respect, as individuals and made to feel "at home".
As a reflection of this personal and individual care, one of the Broadway team even volunteered to give a eulogy at my aunt's funeral and, had she heard the poignant, moving tribute, my aunt would have treasured the words.
Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely words of kindness and recognition. We are so thrilled you were happy with the high standard of care we aim to provide our residents. Each one of our residents here at Broadway becomes part of the family and we are saddened by the loss of your Aunt and are thankful we could...
I would like to thank the management and staff for their kindness and care of my friend. They review medication and review continually with medical staff to keep updated on patient wellbeing.

Informed me why my aunty was in bed in the afternoon. She was resting ahead of the Christmas party.
My aunty is well looked after, and all staff are attentive on the visits I have made.

FAther-in-law has settled into Broadway very well. He has been there just over 12 months now and he is in a much better place. His health is much better and he is eating very well. He has Parkinsons' and needs his medication time specific. At home, his needs were not met even when we had many agencies involved. Now he is at Broadway he is happier and more mobile. We cannot thank the team enough for what they do.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is wonderful to hear how well your father-in-law has settled into Broadway and how much happier he is and more mobile and enjoying life at the home. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
My sister has been a resident at Broadway Nursing Home for the last five years. During which time, she has needed 24-hour care and has mainly been bed-bound throughout. She has always received the very best of nursing care. Her personal needs i.e. hair, and cosmetic needs, as she would have wanted. Under recent new management, all aspects of the home have improved, particularly the management staff. My sister hasn't recognised the family for the last year, and the staff have been wonderful.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. It is lovely to hear how pleased you are with the care and support your sister has received over the last five years from the wonderful team at Broadway Nursing Home. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
After being diagnosed with terminal cancer my father was told he had three months to live. He was sent to Broadway Nursing Home in Blackpool to be nursed until his death. My dad only lived six weeks in the home but the love and care he received from all staff members whilst he was there is something myself and my family will be eternally grateful for. Nothing was too much trouble for staff and there was an open-door policy for family and friends to visit. As Dad became more ill and was unable to wash himself, the staff made sure he was always clean and shaved and in clean clothes and bedding. On the last day of my dad's life, the staff called me to come quickly from work to say a final farewell. His room was quiet and peaceful and we were allowed to stay with Dad till he died. The staff then brought us coffee and biscuits and allowed us to stay with him for a while. When the funeral director came to take Dad away the staff respectfully lined the corridors. Thank you from our hearts.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review at such a difficult time. The home prides itself on supporting and caring for all residents and their families with dignity, respect and kindness. It is wonderful to receive such positive feedback and appreciation for the team. I will share your kind words with all the team.
My mother-in-law went into this nursing home after leaving hospital. We were very happy with the home. The staff were lovely, it was beautiful and clean and most importantly she was really well looked after.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is wonderful to hear how well cared for your mother-in-law was by the lovely team in the home. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
I would just like to say thank you to all at Broadway.

Thank you for your lovely review. It is wonderful to hear how happy you are with the home. I will share your comments with all the team.
When my dad was transferred to Broadway Nursing Home, it was very upsetting and I struggled to come to terms with it. All of the staff were so friendly, they explained everything to me. They made me and my family so welcome, they answered any questions we had and let us visit with no issues. They are so caring and make our visits a pleasure. Thank you to all of you.
It was heartbreaking putting my grandad in a care home. However Broadway have made this process so much better I feel so much better about my grandad being in their care. All the staff are so thoughtful and caring and they always welcome me and my family when we visit my grandad. I am so grateful that the care staff are so friendly and have taken my grandad in and looked after him. Since my grandad has been in Broadway I have seen a massive difference in him. He is a lot more active and has been having three decent meals a day and the care he needs. Thank you so so much to all the staff there. Without them my grandad would be in a worse case now. I'm forever grateful for everything they do!
Thank you for you lovely review. It is wonderful to hear how happy and settled your grandad is at Broadway Nursing Home, giving you great piece of mind knowing how well he is being cared for. I will share your comments with the team.
Nothing appears to be too much trouble. Mum's room is a decent size for her needs. It is very clean and well-kept. Mum enjoys all the meals and has put a little bit of weight back on (which was needed). There are lots of different daytime activities, which Mum is always asked to join in with. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is wonderful to hear how settled your mum is and how she is enjoying living in the home. I will share your comments with the team.
