My step-mum was transferred to Hilbro from hospital via their fast-track scheme having already been put on the end of life programme. She was deteriorating rapidly in the hospital so I was relieved when she was transferred as the hospital staff didn't seem to have the time necessary to spend with her.
My step-mum was transferred on the 6th January 20205, unfortunately was only there until the 20th when she died. On transfer her care was exemplary being an "old school" nurse myself I am very critical but I cannot fault her care. The staff and management were superb and initially she rallied round. Unfortunately she succumb despite there care and attention. I highly recommend this home.

We feel part of the Hillbro family, whenever we are visiting and assisting at mealtimes.
The relatives and friends group, which meets monthly, is really good for sharing your concerns and meeting socially.
The management are very visible and are open about their goals and challenges.

My dad has been in this nursing home around 9 months and it's been the best care and home he's been in throughout his long disability, after becoming bed bound from strokes. The staff are genuinely caring, attentive and lovely, very clean and has a beautiful room with big windows and lots of light.
He is very content and at peace there and it is a pleasure to visit.
The staff always make an effort to keep the entrance in keeping beautifully with the seasons and always looks great entering with the big beautiful staircase.
They've recently refurbished their conservatory room which looks great and even made the perfect venue for my parents getting married! They made it a wonderful experience and made it all happen with ease after specially getting a wedding license for them to make it happen after a lifetime together. It was really wonderful and we're incredibly grateful to them for it and making them happy.
All of our family highly recommend Hillbro Nursing Home! Thank you to their team.

I cannot fault the level of service and professionalism Hillbro Nursing Home have offered my parents from their stay. The home is supremely clean and the standard and quality of service is unsurpassed. The home coped extremely well through covid despite the challenging situation and are always swift
to act when action was needed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hillbro for residential, respite or nursing care. Thank you.

The team at Hillbro Nursing Home cared from my husband for over 4 years until his death in March 24.
During that time they showed him so much love and care. It's a big happy family which embraces everyone including relatives. The staff and management /owners go above and beyond to provide outstanding

I am so pleased that I moved my husband to Hillbro Nursing Home back in April last year. He has been so much happier and content and the care from the staff has been outstanding and the nursing care has been the best we have experienced. Everyone is so thoughtful and supportive and keeps informed about
everything daily and they always go above and beyond to help with anything they can. I would like to say knowing my husband is being so well cared for it has improved my health mentally and physically and I can't thank the team enough.

Hillbro Nursing Home is a wonderful nursing home, my dad has been here for nearly five years now. All the staff are amazing, they are kind, caring and treat all residents with dignity. The home is very clean and welcoming, I'm so glad my dad is cared for at Hillbro!

My mum moved into Hillbro Nursing Home back in March 2024, arriving from an awful care home in Keighley it took me 1 hour to move her across.
Hillbro have an amazing, caring, supportive staff, including kitchen staff and housekeeping.
My mum is kept nice and clean, change of clothes daily, the food
is amazing (I eat there when visiting).
Mum as a beautiful room, great view and very cosy and warm.
A great activity organiser and trips out, weekly entertainment which can be from singers, school children to birds of prey.
My mind has never being at peace until my 90 year young mum moved here.
Thank you to each and everyone of you for the love and support you show my mum.

When I had to put my mum into care I felt that I'd somehow let her down but, I had so many people giving me peace of mind that Hillbro was the right place for her and, it was! The staff are truly amazing, always on hand for both residents and their family and friends. No stated visiting times, you're
always welcome. Fantastic live entertainment and visits out, staff actually sit with residents giving that all important conversation time. Rooms are immaculate, personal items are encouraged to bring. Mum has been there a few months now and she is so happy which, makes me and my family happy knowing she is safe at all times. I am so glad that Hillbro were there when we needed them most, nowhere better for my lovely mum!

My husband was cared for at Hillbro Nursing Home from June 2023 until his death in April 2024. From the outset from his assessment at home it was clear the expertise, understanding, provision to meet his extreme dementia needs this nursing home was totally equipped in providing and meeting his needs.
All the staff went above and beyond all expectations we as his family could have wished for. He was secure, safe, and at all times the care he received was beyond exemplary. And he was loved by all at Hillbro. Not just that, as a family we were and, remain welcome and very much cared for and continue to benefit and enjoy being part of the Hillbro Family. I cannot praise Hillbro enough and this review inadequately says everything that is so wonderful about this very special place. I can only urge others searching for a nursing home for a loved one to visit and see for yourself.

My husband went into Hillbro Nursing Home in 2020 and was not expected to live for very long. Due to the outstanding care he received I had until March 2024 to be his wife again and not his carer.
The Hillbro team go way beyond with the care and dedication not only to the residents but also to family
members. I cannot thank them enough for the extra time I had with my husband.

Always very kind and aware of my mums complex needs. Mum has settled there albeit with her condition it's not been easy for her or the staff. They have won her confidence and acceptance with their endless professionalism patience and kindness.
I feel 100% at ease that she's in the best place for her.

My uncle has been a resident here for several years. He has always been so well cared for and his changing needs have been well met. The staff are brilliant and treat all the residents with dignity and respect. The home is so clean and the decor well thought out and cheery. All the staff from the director
and the manager and administrative staff through to the care workers, all genuinely care, are supportive and get to know the residents individually. As a family, we could not have wished for better care.

My husband was moved into Hillbro in May 2023 as it was no longer safe for him to be at home. From that first day, my husband has been treated with loving care, compassion, dignity and respect by all the wonderful care workers who always smile and are calm even when under extreme pressure. I cannot
leave out the superb cooks and kitchen staff who produce mouth-watering meals, catering to a multitude of different needs. The housekeeping team do a wonderful job with the laundry whilst keeping all the rooms, corridors and other areas spotless and fresh smelling. Relatives can visit at any time for as long as they want and are also lovingly looked after by the amazing staff, nothing is too much trouble. Any issues that arise are swiftly dealt with and reported back on. Hillbro is a very unique nursing home, it is a warm and welcoming place where the residents are cherished and everyone is included in this huge family.

My mum was a resident at Hillbro for 9 weeks receiving end-of-life care following a severe stroke. During this time Mum received the highest level of care, love and attention from all the staff. They attended to her every need and also looked after me and all other friends and relatives who visited.
It is difficult to find the words to express my gratitude and thanks for the care Mum received, the staff are an amazing team.

Dad was a resident for three and a half years. He was so well looked after with love, kindness and respect from a wonderful care team. All the staff including the management care about the residents and their families. I was taken under their wings when I needed to be with Dad, nothing was too much
trouble. Hillbro is such a special place and I was so pleased Dad was part of their family.

I am so thankful there was a room for Mum when she needed it. She is now bed-bound, has Alzheimer’s, is virtually blind and incontinent. The staff are amazing with her. She is kept clean and tidy and is treated with respect and loving care. The relatives of residents are also cared for and considered.
The support from all staff has been above and beyond and has made a difficult and sad situation that bit more bearable. Thank you Hillbro.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff at Hillbro, from the cleaners to the owners, nothing is too much trouble for them. When my husband's relatives come from the North East they book relatives' rooms and supply them with tea, coffee and biscuits. His room is always clean and tidy. I looked at
other homes but this is the best, they look after the relatives and make us feel like family, it's a wonderful place.
