My mother-in-law is staying at lister nursing home. She has now been there for 2 weeks. The dedication of the staff at this nursing home is simply exceptional. The nursing home is very clean indeed( I personally would rate it 10/10). The staff are a great team. The deputy manager is a very professional person, she is a lovely person. She treats her patients, the patients family & friends with upmost respect. That also goes for ALL the staff at the nursing home they are all a bunch of lovely people. They also are professional, caring & understanding. There is also the kitchen staff who i want to thank they also do a great job. I personally would recommend this nursing home to all. My mother-in-law has been a resident since September 2023. In that time her needs and well-being have been well cared for in that time.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are always delighted to hear we are getting things right.
I am satisfied with the level of care my Mother is receiving. She is always treated with dignity, and all her needs are met, and I am kept informed of any changes or problems arising. There is a very low turnover of staff, so my Mother is well known by everyone, and she can relate to them confidently of any distress or problem, and having consistent nursing care makes such a difference to the quality of her life.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are always delighted to hear we are getting things right. It is a pleasure to have your mother with us. I will pass your comments on to our team

Mum passed away a week after her 101st birthday and the staff were so kind to us and allowed us to stay in her last few hours. They treated Mum with great respect and kept her comfortable and ensured she remained pain-free and peaceful.
We are very grateful.

I find from the outset of visiting Lister House that the staff are very professional and courteous to me and the needs of my mother. On the occasion my mother has been to hospital with the carer, the hospital staff have been complimentary of her escort through A&E and Xrays and escort back to the home. My mother's needs are met, even down to her dietary needs.

Lister House care home is excellent. Staff and management are friendly and caring. This provides a piece of mind for us. Food is good as well. Chefs are excellent as well. Place is clean. If there are any problems, they contact the doctor and ring us to tell us. We are pleased that the facility for the bath is very good.
Place overall, the cleanliness you feel you are in your own home. The staff are helpful, the manager is very supportive always. The kitchen staff are very nice people. The staff are nice and they always feel your welcome. They look after the service user with dignity and respect.
Having moved my mother from a nursing home I considered poor, it was pleasing to find a home with high standards. Since moving in she has been treated with respect and understanding. Management is on the ball with attention to detail. The staff are experienced and I'm confident everything is being done to meet her needs. Although mother has complex needs and understanding I'm happy she is being cared for as best she can be.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We always strive to do our utmost for our lovely clients. It is a pleasure to have your mother with us.
The staff communicated well with any telephone calls I made or visits.

The service at Lister House is amazing, they are very friendly and super helpful and it is a very clean place. The facilities are five star. The canteen workers are very helpful and the food that they make is really good.
My mum had lived at Lister for nearly four years and she has recently passed away. I cannot fault the staff they were absolutely amazing. Their professionalism was outstanding the care support and love was amazing. The family felt truly blessed knowing our mum was cared for by such a dedicated team from management all the way down to the lovely cleaner, our mum's medical and personal care was always met with dignity and respect. We owe them a great thank you.
My lovely mum has been with Lister House for nearly four years, and since she went in for respite care, she has stayed happily and feels very at home. The staff are very professional and caring, and nothing is too much trouble. When I visit, Mum is always happy and smiling. She always has her hair done and her favourite jewellery on. The staff are always smiling, even when under pressure, and if I have any questions, they are always answered honestly. They've helped me through some difficult times. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are so glad that all the hard work and effort the staff put in has achieved what we have been striving for. Thanks for your kind words; we will pass them on to our staff.
My father was needing somewhere urgently, Lister House was offered, and he was there for a couple of weeks - then went to an assessment centre for six weeks and was then taken back to Lister House. The staff are amazing. They are so caring, friendly and welcoming whilst also being very professional. Dad has been hard for them at times, but they always have good things to say about him.
I can't say any more than that I am totally satisfied.
Friendly atmosphere.
Since arriving at Lister House my mom has been very happy. The staff are great. Thank you all.
My husband was a resident from April to October when he passed away. He suffered 2 strokes in February and was left paralysed on the right side and unable to speak or swallow. Because of Covid-19 I was unable to see him until July 20th and 27th then nothing until October 2nd. The staff were wonderful making sure I spoke with him by phone. My son and I spent two full days with him before sadly he passed away on October 6th. Nothing was too much trouble. They were so kind to him and us. They are very kind people.
