All the staff at Anley are kind and caring to my elderly mother, who has dementia. Through their gentle persuasion, she has joined in on various outings and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

My friend was a resident at Anley Hall for seven years. She was treated with great respect and, though unable to speak, enjoyed a good and happy relationship with all the staff. I miss everyone at the home as my friend died in 2024. I remember them all with fondness for their care and kindness.

From the moment Mum & I first set foot in Anley Hall and met the Manager and some of her team, we knew we had made the right decision. Dad had broken his hip and been in hospital for 6 weeks but unfortunately due to other medical conditions he was too poorly to be cared for at home after his discharge.
He transferred into Anley early December 2024 and stayed there until his passing in early April 2025. During that time he was cared for so well by all the staff and Mum & I will be forever grateful to all there. Even when Dad was having an "off day" they were so patient with him. His personal care was always well carried out and the meals were freshly cooked. They even took time to look after and chat with Mum on her near daily visits for which I personally am very appreciative. We were updated on a regular basis from the admin team too. Wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Mum was a resident for only 4 weeks having moved there from hospital where her health deteriorated to the point we could no longer care for her ourselves. There are two areas, the residential area and the dementia wing. It was felt Mum would be better accommodated in the dementia area as she would have
more freedom to walk and go outside (which she did) however when you've never come into such close contact with severe dementia residents before, it was pretty overwhelming (from a visitor point of view) to handle. We had a few issues initially which were ironed out. The staff were caring and looked after her needs well, they also took care of myself and my sister with plenty of tea and a shoulder. The grounds are immaculate and Mum's room was nice and spacious with an en-suite bathroom and nice view. Mum loved a cuddle with the resident dog, and although she couldn't join in with the activities, the staff took time to sit with her and chat. Overall, I would recommend Anley to anyone considering a nursing home. The nursing staff at the end were exceptional in their care of Mum and us.

We were really pleased to be able to get mum into Anley Hall, sadly she was only there for just over 4 weeks before she died. We cannot fault the care and attention that mum has received from all the staff, from the management, admin, cleaners, laundry and especially the carers and nurses. We were
lucky to be able to visit every day, we were always greeted with a smile and an offer of a drink, told how mum's night had been and what had happened during the day, what she had eaten and had to drink. The activity girls did everything to include mum where possible, her highlight was having the therapy dog to visit on a Sunday afternoon. For mum even having the opportunity to have her hair done and her nails polished made such a difference to her. Not only do Anley Hall care about their residents but they cared and helped us as a family. We couldn't have been more happy that mum spent her last days at Anley Hall where we knew she was cared for to the highest level. Thanks to you all.

The whole team at Anley Hall have been exceptional in their kindness care and compassion in helping settle my Mum into her new routine. She is well cared for and has already been out on a trip to the Motor Museum. When visiting we are always welcomed by staff with a friendly smile and offered tea/coffee
during our visit. Cannot fault their dedication and professionalism.

We are very pleased that we elected for dad to be accommodated at Anley Hall from October 2024. Dad's occasionally challenging behaviour meant that our options were limited, but Anley Hall were confident they could manage him appropriately and we are confident that he is being well looked after and
his needs are being met. As a family, we visit as often as possible, so he sometimes has visits four or five times a week. On every occasion, we are made to feel welcome, every member of staff knows dad and help is always on hand should we need it.

My stepmother has been in Anley Hall for 5 months now. She moved in at a time of crisis, and I thought she would take a lot of settling in. To my surprise, she seemed happy from the word go and appreciative of how she was looked after. In spite of being doubly incontinent, she always looks well dressed
and fresh, and there is no odour that I've ever detected in the hall. The staff are amazing. Not only do they take pride in the care that they provide for the residents, but they also support and welcome family and visitors. It is always a pleasure to go there. My stepmother's room is homely, and they have hung a lot of her pictures and photos from home in there. The sitting areas are also pleasant and with pleasant views. The carers appear to enjoy what they're doing and take pride in it. What I've seen of the food is amazing. Definitely the best care home I've come across.

My mum was a resident here for 2 years and sadly passed away on 05/11/2024. The care, love and compassion shown to her was amazing. I received a phone call regarding Mum if there were any issues relating to her. The staff not only supported my mum but our entire family. Especially in the last few days
of her life the staff never complained about the comings and goings of our family visiting her. They made us so welcome. My mum was always clean. Well presented and joined in when she was able. Thank you so much Anley Hall you all made a difficult and sad time much more easier.

I can not fault Anley Hall in the slightest, their care, compassion and communication is spot on. They cared for my nanna for two years and she was always well-presented and cared for to an amazing standard. I can not thank them enough for everything they did for her to keep her happy, warm, safe and
comfortable, particularly in her last days.

I have no hesitation in giving Anley Hall the highest recommendation. The staff could not be faulted for the attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable and respectful care they gave to my friend for whom I was acting Power of Attorney. Anely Hall's management team are professional and approachable. They
are extremely easy to communicate with and retain a friendly relationship with the residents and their families. Standards of care and the home-cooked food are first class.

A wonderful nursing home in a beautiful environment. My partner was very well looked after. He loved eating and for that, he was in the right home. Good first-class food, which he really enjoyed.
When visiting he was always very nicely dressed and clean.
All the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable,
and supportive.
For me, it was a real comfort to know that he was in the best of hands.
I would recommend Anley Hall's care home.

This is a longitudinal review as my lovely wife has been a resident at Anley Hall Nursing/Care Home for nearly 5 years and, sadly, had Alzheimer's for 11 years. Additionally, I have been well acquainted in both a personal and professional capacity with staff and residents for over 18 years and can,
therefore, with much confidence confirm and endorse all that is outlined on their website.
I commend wholeheartedly the care and concern shown by the staff both to each other and, most notably, to the residents, often with a gentle but delightful sense of humour to lift one's spirits. The "person-centred" approach outlined by the owner on the website is well demonstrated in all the home's activities and services and, while I wish my dear wife did not have to be there, I could not have wished for a better place for my precious loved one to be as her horrid illness progresses.

My sister has been a resident at Anley Hall since Feb 2024.
I visit regularly and feel happy and content my sister has kind, caring support on all levels.
The staff are always attentive to all the patient's needs. Although it is heartbreaking to see my sister trapped in this cruel illness I also have
comfort in knowing she is well cared for.
My sister's husband and family echo my sentiments. Keep up the high standards, very much appreciated.

My uncle has been a resident at Anley Hall for just over 12 months and during that time we have been impressed by the love and care he receives. When we first visited Anley Hall we were met with smiles from all members of staff and that welcome is still the same 13 months on, the building itself is
odour-free (apart from the delicious cooking smell) and is a pleasure to enter. All the staff are approachable and nothing is too much trouble for them, as soon as we visit my uncle we are offered tea or coffee. There are many and varied activities for the residents to participate in and we get regular photos of my uncle baking or colouring, it's these little things that matter to relatives and they are much appreciated. I would like to say a big thank you to all the office staff, qualified staff, carers, chefs, cleaners and anyone I've missed for looking after my much-loved uncle. Well done Anley Hall Nursing Home.

Anley Hall is a warm and welcoming nursing home staffed with multi-national professional nurses and carers. It is unlikely that you will ever enter and not be greeted with a genuine smile.
Virtually every resident is different with varying interests and capabilities. Considerable effort is applied
to meeting and satisfying these interests.
Anley has created a family support group consisting of existing partners, family members, and those who are now alone. The group discusses issues raised by the members and their past experiences are shared offering comfort to those who seek it.
It is interesting to note that several members of the group have stated that they visited several care homes before choosing Anley Hall.
It is never a chore to visit this fresh and welcoming home, rather, it is an enjoyable experience to see your family and the caring staff.

Excellent staff communication with residents and their families. A wide range of activities for the residents to either be involved in or watch/listen to. For example, music entertainment and small pet patting. The residents are always dressed and washed with care taken about their appearance. Anley
is always a clean and safe environment.

The staff have always presented as being professional, kind and caring. They have helped improve the physical health of my mum significantly in a short space of time. The communication from the nursing and care staff is excellent, as is their compassion in challenging situations. From the housekeepers,
cleaners, care staff, and maintenance staff to the nurses, it is clear they are a strong staff team that works effectively. The meals appear nutritious and any requirements are catered for.
I'm really grateful for the care my mum has received at Anley Hall.
