Thank you Coble House.
Thank you for such a wonderful review and fantastic feedback for our team - this will be passed on to everyone at Coble House.
My mum lived in Coble House for 4 years and 2 months during which time she was bedridden. The care she received from the staff was amazing- kind, professional and above all, she was treated with care and dignity. Mum died in Coble house and the staff excelled during her end-of-life care, not only looking after her but also me.
Thank you for such a lovely, kind-hearted review. I know the team will very much appreciate your words and we are glad we could be there for both you and your mum.
This was a huge decision for my dad and he was very scared and trepidatious. I can honestly say the care has far exceeded our expectations. I work in the care industry and understand the challenges that homes and staff face every day. My mother passed away suddenly very soon after Dad went into the home which was obviously very traumatic for him. All the other care staff could not be more helpful, gentle and supportive to my dad during this time. Yes the decor is a bit tired and he sometimes can wait 10+ minutes for staff to answer his call button but the fact that he is cared for with love and respect is far more important in my opinion. My dad is terminally ill and feels so comfortable at Coble that he has made the decision already that he wishes to remain there for his final weeks/months. I would recommend Coble House to anyone looking for carers who go the extra mile.
Thank you for your honest and very open review. Your lovely feedback will be passed to our team who will be very honoured to hear your kind words.
The room needs some repairs and redecorating. No activities have been held for some time. The cost of care in general is high. The staff and managers are rated good, they are often short-handed but work very hard to help residents.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and giving us your feedback about Coble House. We are pleased to let you know the decorating will be commencing very soon and we also have the return of our lovely activities lady who will be planning some activities for all our residents. Your...
My aunt received excellent care in the final weeks of her life. She was treated with kindness, compassion and dignity. The carers were exceptional and all involved with her care were wonderful to her. The home is clean and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I highly recommend Coble House Care Home.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and thank you for such kind words about the team which I will certainly pass on to them.
My wife has been a resident for almost seven years. My wife has been looked after with care and respect and thanks to all.
I will ensure the staff are made aware.
It has taken me a while to settle in the home but I'm settling well now after a spell in hospital with depression. I feel that gradually it is becoming my home and the staff my family. My health and my attitude have improved greatly and I'm happy living here.
I was very happy to read your comments about Coble House and am so glad to hear you have settled in well. I look forward to meeting you very soon!
I find everyone friendly and caring, my husbands gets well looked after, and the staff are very nice and friendly to me nothing is too much bother for them.
Thank you very much for your kind comments. I will ensure that these are passed on to the team at Coble House.
Friendly and professional staff.
I would highly recommend this home. The staff are really approachable. The residents are treated with dignity and a high level of care is given. The home is always clean and tidy.
Staff are always available to carry out tasks which may arise at short notice such as toilet visits or something as small as a fresh cup of tea when I visit.
There are always activities laid on for the residents even though many are at a stage in their lives when they just want to sleep most of the time.
He was made to feel at home and a respected member of the Coble House "family". We were told that we should treat Coble House as if it was my father's home and could visit at any time. He liked us and his friends dropping in.
The caring nature of the team, the attention and interest they showed him, whatever mood/situation he was in was fantastic. Every member of the Team is a character and he spoke to us a lot about them and what they had discussed during their numerous visits to his room each day.
Even in his terminal condition, his quality of life during the last few months of his life was enhanced by moving to Coble House.
The respect and support provided by the team in his final days, in what were challenging circumstances were appreciated by the whole family.
I like this home very much, my father is happy here and all the staff are brilliant, My father likes all the staff and they have a lot of time for him. He sometimes joins in the activities but prefers to be in his room. I and the rest of the family are often there to see him.
