Dad was with Roseway (Jarrow) for a relatively short time, just over three weeks between hospital and passing. This was such a difficult time for the family, seeing a much loved man in such circumstances. As can be the case, we as a family felt guilty about taking Dad into nursing care rather than home. However, he really needed 247 care so, we had little choice. We did know that Roseway had cared well for an aunt and uncle of ours, so we hoped it would be meet our hopes and expectations. In reality, they massively exceeded them. Nothing was too much trouble and the care was professional, friendly and humane. The staff were all absolutely wonderful, every single one we met, though the senior carers were unbelievably good to Dad and to us. They made perhaps the hardest three weeks not only manageable, but at times joyful. The food was wholesome and had a home-cooked feel and while Dad was too ill to partake, the activities seemed really good too. Can't recommend more highly. Thank you!
We are sorry for your loss. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are honoured to care for your Dad at Roseway House. Thank you again for trusting us with your dad's care, I will pass your kind sentiments on to the home team.

Take note kindly to what i have experienced in what was the other care home my mother has just moved from to Roseway House , i couldn't believe the difference and i asked other family members their opinion before i visited my mother . Staff were alert and happy and the whole place had a different feeling .Most important of all was how Roseway House was to my mothers well being and the result was very happy . I don't place a review on anything on the internet but i was gob smacked and told the Manageress others have to know the different levels of care and attention that your staff are giving and she needed to know that what i personally experience in another care home is miles away and at another level to Roseway House , That's it , made the review and very pleased to do so and best wishes to all the staff that work very hard all year.

My mother was taken to Roseway House directly from hospital, she only spent two weeks before passing away. The staff, each and every one of them, were amazing. My mother was declared palliative/end of life on arrival and after weeks of being distressed and in pain on arrival she was made comfortable as soon as possible! The staff not only cared for our mother but her family also, can't thank them enough.
We are deeply sorry for your loss, it brings us comfort to know that your mother received the care and compassion she needed during her final days at Roseway House. Thank you for sharing your experience and for your heartfelt appreciation. Kind regards.
My mam was only a resident at Roseway for a very short period of time prior to her death. She was well cared for in that period of time, and treated with respect and dignity. All of her needs were met by the amazing staff who not only took excellent care of my mam but looked after me and my sisters also. I can't thank you all enough. you are an amazing team and should be very proud of the work you do. Thank you all.

My mother has been a resident here since December 2023 and from day one, her care and treatment have been first-class. She is treated with kindness and dignity. The manager and her staff are amazing and they are very friendly, approachable and always happy to help. When my family and I visit the home, we are made to feel very welcome. The nursing care my mother receives is excellent and we have been very lucky to have her stay at Roseway House. Highly recommend!

The staff are friendly and very good with residents. They all have big hearts for their residents. Four staff on during the day, 3 at night. You have great staff. If you nad on two more staff they could interact more with the residents. The staff who do the hobbies, organise singers and outings and do an excellent job at the home.
