My mother-in-law was brought into Bannatyne Lodge with aggressive, both verbal and physical Alzheimers. She had stopped eating, refused medication and become incontinent and lost her independence. Staff endured, treating her with empathy and dignity at all times. They encouraged her and slowly, she gained their trust. Today she eats well, takes her meds and asks for the toilet. Staff encourage her to mobilise, if only for a short distance. She loves all the staff, laughs a lots and is happy and content. As a family, thank you seems too small a word to show our appreciation.

Since my wife was brought into Bannatyne Lodge for residential care for her dementia, she and myself have been treated with nothing but kindness and respect and any help needed has been quickly forthcoming. A great team of care workers who never fail to help when it is needed.

Bannatyne Lodge is nothing like a care home. It is just like going home. The management and staff are fantastic. They will bend over backwards to help you. Everyone is sociable. The rooms are great, they always have coffee mornings on. We had a Christmas day lunch and all my family turned up. We had a three-course meal with crackers to pull. It was fantastic and the food is excellent. Very good all round. Recommend it to anyone.

Bannatyne Lodge Care Home is excellent I can't say a bad thing about it. The food and drink is excellent and is very clean. The rooms are spot on. I wouldn't wish for better management or staff they take my wife for showers and do her, hair blow dry it too, and the management and staff even come in the rooms to see if you are alright or want anything. I couldn't fault them one bit.

All the time my husband has been at the home, everyone has been excellent to him and the care they have given him has been great. I did work in care 10 years ago and this home is one of the best I have been in. The staff are caring and understanding, nothing is too much for them. They put the resident first before anything. They care for both resident and family.

As the son of a former resident who was here for many years, I still come to this home two afternoons a week to help at bingo. I find the service and staff still excellent and the home is still friendly and welcoming.
