Excellent. Enjoy coming to Kingsway. The staff is like family to me now.
Thank-you very much for your review and high ratings. Best wishes
They are always both helpful and cheerful. Mam is settled and I always feel I can approach staff if I have any concerns.
Thank-you for sharing your positive experience at Kingsway. We are delighted that your dear mum has settled so well. Best wishes
Having lost her husband and our younger brother the staff have been very supportive towards my mum and younger sister who visits regularly..
Thank-you so much for your lovely review and for sharing your positive experience at Kingsway. We love to your dear mum's lovely smile and are thrilled that she is doing so well. Best wishes
This home is wonderful. Words cannot describe how much the staff here have helped my mum. I lost my dad in 2024 and younger brother in 2025 and the staff have emotionally supported me through this hard time while helping with my mum. This home is excellent!
Thank-you so much for sharing your positive experience at Kingsway. We are delighted that we have been able to help your dear mum. Will pass on your kind words to the team and on behalf of us all, thank-you and best wishes.
From the first day of my partner being admitted she has had the care and attention we had hoped for. I must have met all the staff during my frequent visits and I have experienced 1st class courtesy and care each time. We are delighted how my partner has settled in and long may it continue.
Thank-you very much for sharing your positive experience at Kingsway. Best wishes
The most important thing to me was kindness for my mum and staff that care and know her nuances well .
Kingsway staff fundamentally care deeply about their patients , they are always there to help and will support where they can with anything you ask.
Their staff are committed and genuinely know their patients , it's not a different staff member every week !
I'm very pleased by the level of hygiene too, always a mop out and her room is keep very clean .
The nursing care is very professional , everything is assessed and checked . I feel so relieved knowing my mum is in safe , kind and experienced hands .
Visiting is so pleasant and most of all my mum seems content .
Incredible people doing a very difficult , challenging job . Thank you
We really appreciate the feedback and thank you for making the time to give us such a lovely review. I look forward to sharing it with my colleagues.
Kind regards
Catherine
Our mum has high level nursing care needs, the staff at Kingsway are brilliant with her and with us. They have always been genuinely supportive and caring towards our mum, and have gone out of their way to ensure the care is specific to our mums needs. The consistency of staff is very important, our mum responds better to this and it also means they have up to date and informed knowledge of mum's care. The nursing and care standards are very high and we feel confident that our mum is being looked after properly and in a way which is specific to her and her needs. Staff have gone out of their way to be with mum at certain times accompanying and visiting her in hospital too, this means a lot to us and in ensuring mum feels safe as she has got to know them. This also showed us that the staff genuinely care.
We truly appreciate the feedback and thank you for taking the time to give us a review. I look forward to sharing it with my colleagues on Monday.
Kind regards
Catherine
The overall care for my sister has been amazing. She is end of life and is very happy and settled. My sister wishes to end her life there. All staff and management are also very understanding of my feelings and always enquire regarding how I am doing.
Thank you very much for your review and kind words. Best wishes.
I can't thank the staff for all they do for me.
Thank you very much for the great review. It is very much appreciated.
My brother has been in this care home for several years. I feel he is very settled her and quite happy. The staff are always on hand and are very caring. Most recently he had a fall, I was notified of this straight away which I very much appreciated. Although he doesn't leave his room, he is happy listening to the radio and looks forward to my visits.
Thank You for your compliments. We very much appreciate you taking the time to write a review.
The staff care, no resident is pressured into doing something they don't want. Staff are aware if my husband is having a lie-in, he is not disturbed and is offered breakfast when he awakes whatever time it is. He is encouraged to join in with activities and talk to other residents. The meals are varied and balanced, I have never heard my husband complain about the food and they always look good to me. A selection of drinks are served morning and afternoon but if my husband wants more and is thirsty he just needs to ask. I am confident that he is well looked after. Laundry is constant and bed changes done frequently. I can go in to see him any time I wish. All the staff at Kingsway help to make my husband's stay as pleasant as possible, understanding his dementia and his needs. Kingsway telephone me of any problems and what they are doing to solve them. I am kept up to date. I am very satisfied with my husband's care.
Thank you so much for your very kind and informative review.
My uncle was moved here from another care home and it was the best move we made. The care and dignity he received was excellent. The staff are kind and caring and kept us informed when we were unable to visit. Their compassion and professionalism in his final days were especially comforting to all the family. Thank you.
I cannot visit very often as I live four hours away. I do make a point of arriving unannounced and have always found my mother to be well looked after. The staff there are very caring. I am also always informed if she is unwell or has had any falls and what treatment, if any, was needed. Overall I am very happy with the service and feel she is safe and excellently cared for.
Thank you for your comments. It is our pleasure and privilege to care for your mother.
The management and staff at Kingsway have a good understanding of how to deal with my brother's mental health problems. They are always cheerful, kind and caring and I feel confident he is being well looked after and treated with dignity and respect. I am kept fully informed of any problems and what is being done to resolve them.
Thank you for your review. Your brother is very much part of our Kingsway family and it is our privilege to provide him with care and support.
My husband has been in Kingsway just over 4 years with alcohol-related brain damage. I have seen the care and support given to him and myself and daughter. The staff keep me well informed about his care and I cannot thank them enough, as I am aware he can be difficult at times. If it wasn't for Kingsway he wouldn't be here today, and I am so grateful and cannot thank the team enough.
Thank you Joy, you and your husband are a part of our Kingsway family and it is our pleasure to support you all.
Meals are hot and well cooked.
My husband will not be the easiest person to care for but I am more than happy that he is at Kingsway. After the experience of other care homes, this is definitely the right place for him. The open environment is more suitable for his changeable moods and the staff and management are extremely caring and sympathetic to his needs.
Thank you for your kind words. Your husband is very much part of the Kingsway family. It is our pleasure and privilege to care for him.
This was our first visit to Kingsway - without exception the staff members we came across were helpful, clearly very caring, and professional. The reason for our visit was our brother's 60th birthday - members of the team had decorated his room with banners and balloons and bought an extremely thoughtful present. I was so impressed with everything, and in spite of his multiple issues, he is clearly very well cared for here.
Thank you for your kind review. Your brother is part of the Kingsway family and it is our pleasure to provide him with good quality care and support.
This is by far the most professional, friendly, caring and understanding home that I have experienced.
I cannot thank and praise the staff enough for their diligence and passion.
Thank you for your kind review. It is our pleasure to care for your brother. He is very much part of the Kingsway family.
My sister entered Kingsway four years ago with very difficult care needs, within weeks her mood improved along with some of her health problems. She has been well cared for and appears to be happy living there. I would recommend Kingsway to anyone considering staying there.
Many thanks for your kind review. It is our pleasure to provide care and support to your sister - she is very much a part of the Kingsway family.

Meet the Team (1)

I began my career in health and social care as a Care Assistant in a dual-registered care home in 2015. After completing my Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, I progressed to a Senior Care Assistant role before undertaking specialist training as a Nursing Assistant. This enabled me to develop clinical skills including phlebotomy, basic wound care and insulin administration.
Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care, I went on to complete my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care in 2021. This led to my promotion to Deputy Manager and subsequently Home Manager, where I have now gained five years' experience leading large care services.
I am committed to continuous professional development and am currently studying towards my Level 7 qualification in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care. I take great pride in supporting both residents and colleagues, creating a warm, compassionate environment where people can thrive and receive the highest standards of care.
