Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My dad, who had Alzheimer's was in Norwood for just over a year and was very well looked after. The staff were always cheerful and helpful, and I knew that my dad was being well cared for as the staff seemed to know him well. When my dad was receiving end of life care, everyone treated him with respect
and dignity and as a family we were very touched by the compassion and kindness we were shown when he passed away. A huge thank you to everyone!

As a visitor we have been made welcome, and encouraged to join in activities.
Rooms are of a good standard.
Early days for us as yet, as Mum is still settling in, which is a huge step/change in her life this far.

All her years at Atlas and Albion House. We highly recommend Atlas House for the superb care they take of my beloved auntie under the excellent leadership of Julie and at weekends, Afif. Staff are always kind, caring to my auntie. I know she is at peace living there. We are more thankful to them than
they will ever know. They restore my faith in humanity. They are Angels. I pray God blesses each one of them.

My Mum has been in Norwood now for a few months, we moved her from another care home where she had been for a few weeks which wasn't suitable, this has definitely been the best move for my Mum. The staff at this care home are the best, the care and attention they give to my Mum is fabulous, her mind
is kept active with daily activities and they also have entertainment that come to the home some weekends and afternoon tea for the residents and their families. I love the social media posts (you can opt out of this) this brightens my day when I see what my Mum has been doing that day as I can't manage to visit every day. My Mum is treated with dignity and I cannot fault the care she has been given by the fabulous staff!

Mom has settled down nicely, and your care has been excellent. The only concern I have is when she presses the buzzer, it is never answered very promptly! You have a problem with weekend employment.

Mom 93, was being cared for at home twice a day carers until mid July 2025. At home, she was becoming withdrawn and increasingly in need of fulltime care.
After moving into care in July, there has been a total transformation. Mom is now engaging and back to her normal self. She accepts and appreciates
the care given. Well done Hammerwich Hall, what a transformation. Thank you.

My Mother entered Hammerwich Hall in February this year. Initially it was a respite stay but it was quickly apparent she was no longer safe to return home.
To begin with she was unsettled but the carers and management have worked so hard to build her confidence and make her feel part of the family
within the home.
This isn't a purpose built facility which adds to the homely appeal. The carers are invested in their roles and the residents treating them with affection and respect.
I don't believe we could have chosen a better place for Mom to be, she is safe, cared for and living with dignity as her needs have increased.
Mom moving to Hammerwich Hall has given me a peace of mind I haven't felt in many years.
Thank you.

My dad arrived at Deanfield following a serious fall (broken hip) and a prolonged stay in hospital. In addition he has (and continues to deal with) other significant health conditions. His condition in just a few weeks has improved significantly. He is looked after by a kind and caring ream who are
clearly committed to ensuring all care needs are met with attention and profesisonalism. More importantly me, and my mum (who visits daily), are treated with dignity and respect and they are able to share meaningful time together. This is priceless to me.

I was very worried about my mum and dad going into a care home as they both have Alzheimer's, and I knew it would be a whole new, different lifestyle for them. I needn't have worried, the staff and care they have received has been great, and although my mum is taking time to settle, the staff have been
great with her. I can have peace of mind that they are well looked after with care and compassion.
