Manager staff very helpful work hard

My husband was brought in here on Jan 26 + since then he has come on leaps + bounds. His weight is gradually increasing, thanks to one of the nurses she noticed that he didn't need to be on a level 5 diet. The staff are all friendly + nothing is a bother to them

Since Audrey came to the home 1 month 18 days i am realy pleased with the care she is having, and the staff are very freindly and helpfull.

Peter is still cheery but still gets confused sometimes. He doesn't make sense what he says he likes to be helpful still got a habit of planking things hes settled in well.

Since I started visiting in December 2025, I have been impressed with all members of staff connected with looking after my partner as I was in hospital for two weeks that she had been in attendance at Craigbank. The staff and other people up visiting their friends, it seems a nice family orientated care home and I myself have got to know the other visitors very well and on a name to name basis. As I go up 4 times a week, even I enjoy going up to visit my partner now, as its not just a home but a family type home.

Our family will be forever grateful for the care and attention our mum received from not only all the care/nursing staff but also the activities/laundrette/domestic/catering and maintenance staff, they all treated her with respect and dignity no matter what she was up to and believe me she could give out abuse but they took it in their stride and were always able to distract and motivate her.

My wife has been in Craigbank for 13yrs now, I have never had any issues with the home or the staff. All staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are all very good at what they do. They all look after my wife with great care and consideration, she is always clean and well presented.

Mum spent an assessment period of 4 weeks in this care home before confirmation of a permanent placement. We found this care home to be welcoming, cozy and friendly, with staff very experienced and knowledgeable in caring for a loved one with progressing dementia from the manager down to all other staff. Staff are always visible and interacting with residents. We have been kept updated and involved in decision making with mum's best interests at the centre of everything. A weight has been lifted from our shoulders knowing that our mum's needs are being met fully. Thank you.

The staff are very friendly and helpful whenever I have visit my mum and always son hand to support her.They are always available to discuss my mums needs and deliver care to her to a very high standard which provides me with a sense of ease.

The care home is excellent at managing the needs of dementia patients; they don't rush them, and they go out of their way to help the relatives understand. Their knowledge is first class, and they care for all of the residents with compassion, patience and care.

All the staff are very caring and look after residents and their family. Excellent care at all times.

The staff at Craigbank Care Home have done a wonderful job to support my mother who was not settling well in the care setting. They demonstrate respect and understanding in relation to my Mum's needs. There is a positive, warm atmosphere which is reassuring for relatives. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive, always smiling.

Craigbank is an excellent care facility, staff are amazing with my mum. My mum has come on leaps and bounds since she came here. Her mobility, well being, her diabetes was eratic in hospital and the staff have that stable now. Can't thank the staff enough.

The staff are lovely and great attention to detail, and I'm also happy with the security with the premises.

At Craigbank my uncle is treated with dignity and respect. Staff and management are invested in his care. The care home is a welcoming place, staff and management are attentive and our family is comforted to know our uncle to living in a happy and supportive location.

My Dad has been a resident here for 3 month now, and has had the most fantastic care. All staff I have met and seen work with my Dad are outstanding, attentive and professional. They totally care for all my Dad's needs in a loving and supportive way. I can't praise Craigbank Care Home highly enough. A shining example of how care homes should be.

My husband has settled in well into Craigbank. He was in two homes previously which did not work out, staff in Craigbank seem caring with their patients. My husbands personal care seems to be well carried out.

I have just attended my brothers 4 week review, and whilst there requires to be more time and experience to review my brother's care in Craigbank, the time and information, consideration given at the review was very helpful and I look forward to working with Craigbank to support my brother's personalised and diverse care needs. Staff are pleasant, smiling and welcoming which makes all the difference.
