Dad moved in to Parklands in April and from the get-go he's been looked after incredibly well. From the initial contact to arrange dads stay through to him moving in, the care, support, advice and overall help has been excellent. Everyone is so caring and cheery including the cleaning and maintenance
staff. I couldn't be happier with dads care and definitely recommend Parklands Court.

My dad has been a resident since July 2025. He was in Elmore House from July 2025 until November 2025 then moved into Samuel House.
All the staff are very kind and caring and make my dad laugh too ( which is great)
I can ask the staff about anything that I might want to know concerning my dad and
they always have time for you.
The food is of high quality and my dad really enjoys his meals.
There are always plenty of cups of tea too, which my dad loves.
My dads room is pleasant and comfortable and clean.
He receives great personal care and is very well looked after. And is encouraged to do things for himself too.
Most of the staff I have spoken to, love my dad. Which is lovely.
They often have event days. I take my dad along with other family members ( when able to).
My dad enjoys these events and it does him good to be out of his room and with other people.
Thank you all for all the kindness my dad receives and the care and thoughtfulness to his relatives too.
Reply from Rachel Walker, Home Manager at Parklands Court Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and positive review of your dad's experience with us.
It means a great deal to hear that he has settled with us here at Parklands Court in Bloxwich, and that you feel confident in the care and support he receives. Our team takes great pride in providing a warm, friendly, and respectful environment, so it's wonderful to know that their kindness and ability to bring a smile to your dad's face have made such a difference.
Helping our residents stay engaged, comfortable, and as independent as possible is incredibly important to us, and it's lovely to hear that this is reflected in your dad's experience.
Your kind words about our staff will be shared with the whole team. Thank you again for your trust and support.

On the whole week are pleased with the home, there is lots of entertainment to keep the residents happy and engaged which is so important.
My relative is generally happy as she can be at Netherton Green, she likes to spend her days with the other residents.
We find the communication lacks at times
between the staff, and the night staff being unkind but we have addressed this with the manager and thats has been better.

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
I have found Netherton Green care home to be extremely well organised, with a professional and approachable manager Fiona who maintains an open-door policy.
The staff are caring, compassionate, friendly, and highly professional in their approach to both residents and relatives. They always take the
time to listen and clearly explain any concerns or suggestions, which is very reassuring for families.
The home itself is very clean, welcoming, and has a relaxed, happy atmosphere created by the entire team. Housekeeping standards are exceptional, and the laundry service is also excellent.
Meals are thoughtfully prepared, with menus that cater to all residents' nutritional, cultural, and dietary needs.
There is a wide range of activities and social events available, helping residents stay engaged, happy, and content.
The medical team is excellent, and both residents and relatives are kept fully informed about any changes, concerns, or health issues.
I would recommend 100%

My mom moved here in May 25 due to her parkinsons becoming worse and needing nursing care. The staff and management have all been amazing in supporting my mom aswell as the family with this transition in what was a very hard time. My mom is very well looked after and supported.
My mom is offered choices
with her meals and drinks aswell as activities she wants to do.
The communication between the home,my mom and family is fantastic.
I cannot thank the staff enough for all they do. I can finally sleep at night knowing my mom is looked after.

Parklands Court has been a great residential care setting for my Aunt. She has made some great connections with the staff and some good friendships with the other residents. As someone with advanced dementia, she benefits strongly from specialist 24/7 care and great social facilities to spend time with
other residents. Any request that she or the family have has always been dealt with quickly.

Mom moved into parklands court October 2025, as we were struggling with her care .the rooms are bright and airy and clean.all the staff are friendly and professional and go above and beyond your expectations. Every member of staff knows the residents by first names which is lovely. The staff take the
time to talk to you and keep you up to date on your relative. Mom sadly passed away in February 2026with myself and my husband by her side ,the staff were so supportive in such a distressing time ,we cant thank them enough. Once again again our family would like to thankyou you all for doing such an amazing job.

Mom has dementia and became a resident of Ryland view in December 2024, after suffering severe health issues. The outlook for her wasnt good, but the staff at Ryland have been amazing and she is now thriving! They talk and laugh with the residents, provide regular entertainment in the form of singers,
crafting, music....they are treated with kindness and respect. A friendly, caring, forever home for our loved ones. I will always be grateful to them for taking such good care of my mom.

As a permanent resident of 3yrs+, Moms care has been excellent. Despite the ups and downs, and the current refurbishment, mom is very happy at Ryland View. She is treated with dignity and respect by the carers. She has had a number of health problems and hospital visits recently, but the medical, care
& help she's received has been of a high standard. Management has shown care and compassion and nothing is too much trouble. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Activities/entertainment is great, with singers & events regularly. Keep up the good work Ryland View!

My mom has been at Parklands since last March and I have to say the care she has received has been excellent. Mom has recently been in hospital and seriously ill, on return to Parklands she was still weak, nil mobility and had lost a lot of weight, since her return she is back to walking short distances
and is almost back to her original weight, she is bright and happy. The progress she has made is testimony to the wonderful care she is receiving. All staff are friendly and approachable including management with an open door policy for relatives to discuss any aspect of their care. Thankyou to everyone on Marlborough for your time and energy and giving me my mom back after I feared the worst.
Reply from Lucy Biggs, Operations Director at Parklands Court Care HomeThank you taking the time to complete a review. We are delighted that your mothers care has progressed so well since her return from hospital and she is more like her old self again. It is so reassuring to hear that you feel that management have an open door policy to relatives as well as staff to support when required. My Mother was a resident at Ryland view for nearly 5 years . Lots of ups and downs but she was happy. We were shocked when 2 weeks before Christmas we were told she was being evicted and we had 28 days to find a new home for her. The reason given was she was on a list. Later finding out they were not
having a nurse on her unit anymore and they evicted 8 residents at the same time .You can only imagine the upset and anxiety this has caused the family. worried that the move could cause so much confusion with detrimental effects on her health. Where is the caring here? Promised a place until the end of life to be evicted within two weeks to Christmas. How can a company get away with this treatment. Constantly told it's not us but head office.
Reply from Paul Lawson, Head of Sales and Marketing at Ryland View Care HomePlease accept our sincere apologies for the distress and inconvenience caused by the recent decision to move your loved one from Bloomfield House at Ryland View. We fully understand how upsetting this has been for you and your family, particularly given the timing and the impact on your loved one. The decision was necessary due to a change in the registration of our Care Home The House where your loved one resided has now been re-registered as Residential EMI (Elderly Mentally Infirm), This means we are no longer able to provide Nursing Dementia care. As a result, residents requiring nursing dementia support could not remain safely under the new registration. Continuing care without the appropriate registration and staffing would have posed a risk to your loved one's health and care needs. For this reason, we had to work with the local authority to arrange a move to a setting where her needs could be properly met. We send our very best wishes to you and the family.
