My nan settled quickly during her respite stay at Ryland View. Staff were always friendly, caring and willing to help. The home provides a lot of activities for the residents to keep them entertained.

Ryland view staff are passionate and dedicated they allow families to still be at the heart of everything .
They organise so many great activities that everyone has lots of fun ,going above and beyond to create something truly special and they are passionate about creating a welcoming environment for all. The different activities show a real inclusion of all and a real family feeling.The staff know all the residents and their families by name and are welcoming and supportive of any emotions and offer guidance if the family needs.
The passion within ryland view is something quite special they are friendly, inclusive, supportive and helpful.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the home for your loved one and would recommend you come to view as it has such a beautiful garden and wildlife love it there which the residents really enjoy including butterflies,bees,robins.

I have been to many care home environments but not one quite hits all the areas that ryland view does in my view

Mom has been cared for, by the staff beautifully. They have taken time to get to know her, have encouraged her to join in with activities every day. During the recent heatwave I was concerned about her becoming dehydrated but i needn't have been. There were hot and cold drinks offered regularly along with ice lollies. She is very happy there.

My mom came to live in this home late 2025,she is happy living here the staff all treat her lovely she is treated like family.She has a laugh and joke with the nurses and care workers. She is always given choices on her wants and needs

My wife recently moved into Parklands and has settled in very quickly.
The accommodation is spotlessly clean and roomy with plenty of additional facilities available.
The staff are very caring, friendly and approachable. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.

I cannot fault Ryland except for the waiting time often experienced when George needs to be taken to the the toulet, on several occasions he has had to wait nearly 2 hours when I have sat with him but I do understand the reason why. I think Sarah is brilliant with the social work she does. George is happy with the care he receives.

A clean, caring environment with staff who are family to my sister. We have no family left in the area. I live roughly 250 miles away, not so young and have issues at home so my visits are less frequent. The staff alert me if there is a problem and occasionally I manage to have telephone contact with my sister. She is deaf and lost her speech following a stroke so her responses are infrequent. 10/10 for your care in Haines. Thank you.

How do you find the words to thank a place that went above and beyond?
It was very difficult for us as a family to watch our Nan grow weak and eventually move into care. We were apprehensive about the sort of care she might receive, especially after an unsuitable placement. Thankfully, she was transferred to Parklands, which turned out to be the best move!
She made some lovely friends and many of the staff touched Nana's life in unique ways, whether through little chats and laughs, encouraging her in activities, or caring for her personal needs with dignity and gentleness.
The last week of Nana's life was especially tough, but the care team did everything they could to make her final days as comfortable as possible, and also supporting us as a family.
We will always be grateful for Parklands, especially in that final week. I miss Nana so much, and will miss the lovely community she became part of.

Thank you Parklands for going above and beyond! It truly means alot.

My dad has been here since February and he is settled , well looked after , safe , well fed . The home is very clean and everyone is friendly , everyone there, helps me with whatever I or my dad needs and I love the other residents, I love going to visit him , thank you everyone who helps look after my dad .

My mum has been at parklands since February this year. The staff are amazing and my mum is well looked after. My mum is still settling in to her new routine but staff are very supportive and give her the support she needs daily. The staff have been very supportive to myself also on this new journey I am on with my Mum with Alzheimer's.

Dad moved in to Parklands in April and from the get-go he's been looked after incredibly well. From the initial contact to arrange dads stay through to him moving in, the care, support, advice and overall help has been excellent. Everyone is so caring and cheery including the cleaning and maintenance staff. I couldn't be happier with dads care and definitely recommend Parklands Court.

My dad has been a resident since July 2025. He was in Elmore House from July 2025 until November 2025 then moved into Samuel House.
All the staff are very kind and caring and make my dad laugh too ( which is great)
I can ask the staff about anything that I might want to know concerning my dad and they always have time for you.
The food is of high quality and my dad really enjoys his meals.
There are always plenty of cups of tea too, which my dad loves.
My dads room is pleasant and comfortable and clean.
He receives great personal care and is very well looked after. And is encouraged to do things for himself too.
Most of the staff I have spoken to, love my dad. Which is lovely.
They often have event days. I take my dad along with other family members ( when able to).
My dad enjoys these events and it does him good to be out of his room and with other people.

Thank you all for all the kindness my dad receives and the care and thoughtfulness to his relatives too.

He enjoys the music and singers they have every week that is put on by kaz

On the whole week are pleased with the home, there is lots of entertainment to keep the residents happy and engaged which is so important.
My relative is generally happy as she can be at Netherton Green, she likes to spend her days with the other residents.

We find the communication lacks at times between the staff, and the night staff being unkind but we have addressed this with the manager and thats has been better.

I have found Netherton Green care home to be extremely well organised, with a professional and approachable manager Fiona who maintains an open-door policy.
The staff are caring, compassionate, friendly, and highly professional in their approach to both residents and relatives. They always take the time to listen and clearly explain any concerns or suggestions, which is very reassuring for families.
The home itself is very clean, welcoming, and has a relaxed, happy atmosphere created by the entire team. Housekeeping standards are exceptional, and the laundry service is also excellent.
Meals are thoughtfully prepared, with menus that cater to all residents' nutritional, cultural, and dietary needs.
There is a wide range of activities and social events available, helping residents stay engaged, happy, and content.
The medical team is excellent, and both residents and relatives are kept fully informed about any changes, concerns, or health issues.

I would recommend 100%

My mom moved here in May 25 due to her parkinsons becoming worse and needing nursing care. The staff and management have all been amazing in supporting my mom aswell as the family with this transition in what was a very hard time. My mom is very well looked after and supported.
My mom is offered choices with her meals and drinks aswell as activities she wants to do.
The communication between the home,my mom and family is fantastic.

I cannot thank the staff enough for all they do. I can finally sleep at night knowing my mom is looked after.

I could not ask for better staff, they show care and compassion not only to my mother in law to to family members. They have activities and fates to raise funds to support residents entertainment.
