Due to ill health my mother had to go into a home with nursing care. After visits to other homes I settled on Rutherglen Care Home as being most appropriate. I am very glad I made this choice. My mother is very settled. She is well looked after. Staff are excellent and keep me up to date with any problems.
No complaints about Rutherglen Care Home.

The staff have been fantastic with my Auntie. The care provided has significantly improved her health and the staff have been out of this world. They are very attentive and communicate effectively with the family members of the cared for people. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done
to take care of my aunt.

My mum has been a resident in Woodside since March and very happy with the support and care my mum receives. The staff are all lovely and attentive both to residents and family when they visit. The staff are very approachable and keep you updated on everything. The staff work very hard. My mum is settled
well and so much so I am now looking to get my dad in the same care home

My Aunt was a resident in this Carehome for the past two years. She sadly passed away this week.
She was in the Dryburgh Unit and the care, love and attention she received was excellent. Apart from the staff doing their job they also showed her a lot of love and affection. We cannot thank them enough.

My Mum has been a resident since 2021. She is quite settled but feel that she could be given more choices and included in more activities. Most staff are excellent when dealing with her.

All the staff within the care home provided excellent care and attention towards my mum. The facilities were very good, as were the food and the activities. I cannot fault anything about the care home as it was always clean and tidy. The staff do a very difficult job in a pleasant manner.

As always, I find the care my mother receives at Woodside House, Rutherglen to be exemplary. I visit regularly and have only good things to say about the staff and how caring they are towards the many residents. They work very hard indeed, but always have time to communicate with the residents, giving
them care, love and dignity. There may be fancier buildings for those who need 24-hour care, but I doubt anywhere else has such wonderful staff.

My mother hasn't been in very long but has settled in very well thanks to the management and friendly staff. Nothing is a bother for them. Food is good, facilities and entertainment good. She has a comfortable room and the family have peace of mind with the safety and security in place.

My mother spent the last few years of her life in the care of Rutherglen Care Home. During the pandemic, the staff were very professional and showed great empathy towards my father and myself, with regular updates and phone calls. Towards the last few months of my mum's life, the staff were excellent.
The senior staff, especially, showed great care and understanding. They made the last few days very peaceful and respectful, and provided all the care that my mother and I needed. I will always be thankful for this.

Mum came into the nursing home in July 2023 after having a stroke in February 2023. Our expertise from the start was excellent and the family are pleased with the care, compassion and help that Mum (and us) receive from all the staff. It was a very difficult decision based on placing Mum in a nursing
home but the whole family agreed it was for the best. Overall to date, we cannot thank everyone in the nursing home enough for making this transition in Mum's life, home and care so easy. We cannot believe how well she is doing after what the doctors in the hospital said about life expectancy.

My dad has been a resident of Rutherglen Care Home since 2020. He was admitted during Covid, a difficult time for everyone, but the staff were brilliant. The staff are friendly, helpful and take amazing care of my dad, he is always so happy. The care home is so clean and tidy. All the staff do an amazing
