Lovely place .
Friendly staff .
Plenty activities for residents .
The cafe is great for when the weather is rubbish .
Staff are always willing to help whenever there's an issue but that's not very often to be fair.

Even though I struggled with the thought of my mum going into a care home i was almost immediately put at ease when I saw the level of care provided by all staff, not just towards my mum, but all of the residents.
Her room is bright and with the addition of some of her personal belongings makes it
more homley for her.
Nothing seems to be too much for all members of staff who are always on hand to assist with the daily demands of a care home. My mum quickly made a friend and has become more outgoing and getting her hair done always cheers her up. Having a beauty room and small library, even though she doesn't use that, is a great addition for anyone who just need a quiet place to sit and read. Overall I am very pleased with the home as the three most important things to me is for her to be safe, happy, and have dignity and I genuenly feel Deanfield provide this

Hi My mum has been in Dunlop Unit for over three years. Mum has received amazing care from the staff in there. Dayshift and nightshift staff take care of her every need and have a brilliant bond with her. Mum has fallen a few times, as she tends to walk without her zimmer at times. Staff are quick to
respond and notify me as soon as possible. Staff are approachable and make my mum feel part of the Haydale family. Nothing is a bother for them.

Mum has been a resident for a few months. We looked at several places for her, Haydale was the one that just felt right, it had a pleasing ambience, there was a calmness, staff were happy and engaging with the residents. Over the past couple of months mum has had some challenges which the staff have
dealt with professionally, carefully and with the utmost respect for her needs. When I visit I am always amazed that the staff will take the time to tell me how mum has been and if there have been any issues. When you have worried about someone for so long it is a huge relief to know that 24hours a day the care is consistent and meaningful. Nothing ever seems to be too much of a problem for staff. The activities programme and the social media updates are fantastic providing genuine engagement for the residents. The management and maintenance of the property is excellent and of a high standard.

Thank you for taking the time to review our care home and for your kind words. The move to a group living environment is a massive change for an individual and it is so pleasing to see your mum start to settle in and become part of the Haydale family. Please continue to pop in and see me if you have any queries or concerns, or even if you just want to have a quick chat about mum and offer any suggestions as to how we can make each day a little bit brighter for her.

I would highly recommend Golfhill. My mum has been in the Alexandra unit for 2 years. She broke her hip recently and the staff have been absolutely wonderful with her. The staff in there are run off their feet, but always take the time to talk to you, if required. Maybe the top dogs should hire more
staff. Also glad to see it being decorated and new furniture. It looks a lot brighter and not so clinical.
Once again thank you to all the staff in the Alexandra Unit.
