Mum has been here for 18 months now. When I first visited Woodfield Grange I was impressed by its homely feel. In 18 months I have always experienced this whilst visiting. It really feels like a family which is exactly what was needed for mum. All the staff treat mum with love and respect which is truly lovely to witness. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Woodfield Grange

Every time I visit grandma I am always made to feel so welcome. It is lovely to see grandma with her friends and see her chatting to the staff. Her room is lovely always tidy (her wardrobe is immaculate). The food is nice and mealtimes are always a great experience. As a family we couldn't be happier with Woodfield Grange. The times I have visited Woodfield Grange I have been really impressed with the facilities. The lovely open lounge is full of residents interacting with each other and staff. The bedrooms are small but immaculate. My mother-in-law seems very happy and has made many friends despite her advanced dementia. I know my wife has peace of mind knowing her mum is taken such good care of

I use to come in with my mum to visit her friend till she sadly passed away 2 weeks ago, we have since been back to give the staff some goodies for all their hard work while looking after her, staff were always nice and polite, and nothing was too much for them, nice clean tidy home and the meals were delicious home cooked meals, well done to you all for the hard work
Thank you for your lovely review and kind words, it means a lot to the Woodfield team.
I find Woodfield Grange Nursing Home in general excellent especially the staff who work very hard and especially friendly. I arrive at all times of the day and this standard is excellent and consistent. The food is also excellent and plentiful. Well done!
Thank you Daniel, your feedback is both important and appreciated. We value you views and the fact you come to visit so often and at various different times makes you a very valuable set of eyes for us. Keep the feedback coming and we appreciate your support.
I feel I can now go back to being a daughter and my lovely Dad can go back to being a husband and it's all thanks to the staff which are more like family and all so important x
Thank you and we are really pleased that this has worked out so well for both you and your mum. As a team, we really strive to ensure that our residents are happy living here in our community and your feedback really helps us continually review our care.
We couldn't wish for anything more all the staff are more like family, we thought we were loosing Margaret but no, she happier than ever and loves everyone, her room is beautiful, the home is so light and bright and has a warm homely feeling, Margaret is always treated with kindness and respect
We really appreciate your feedback and your kind words, thank you. The whole team works hard to ensure all our residents are care for to the highest possible standards and your feedback allows us to continually monitor this.
My mum moved into Woodfield Grange on the 1st August 2024. Her prognosis was that she was on end-of-life care and would only have several weeks or a couple of months at the most. In fact, my mum surprised us all by living for another year. In all that time the staff at the home did a brilliant job of caring for my mum as she slowly declined in the last year of her life. When my mum expressed any anxiety or worry the staff - whether they were her day-to-day carers, kitchen staff or admin - always did their level best to ensure that my mum was as comfortable and relaxed as she could possibly be. She felt safe and secure and was able to form new and trusting relationships with all the staff who became her carers. This was a great help to me psychologically: allowing me some space to return to a more normal daily life, in the secure knowledge that my mum was being cared for twenty four hours a day.
Thank-you so much for your review and on behalf of us all we extend our ongoing condolences for the loss of your dear mum. We were honoured to play a part in the twilight of her wonderful life and are delighted that we were able to reassure you that she was being well cared for by the team at Woodfield. Sending our very best wishes to you and the family.
This is a very professionally managed caring residential home. My Aunt, for whom I am primary carer for, is happy and settled there. She receives social stimulation, is properly cared for and has adequate facilities given the limitations of the building. Her medical needs are will met, her day to day living is appropriately supported and I have experienced an understanding and caring for her varied needs. The Manager is kind and engaging and responds to any issues promptly I sense that overall there is a positive culture under his leadership. There is attention to matters of quality and reasonable levels of consultation with friends and relatives. The physical environment of the home has also been upgraded over the last year. Residents enjoy stimulation in a group setting eg music events but also personally supported trips out. The home also provides a positive environment in different settings for regular visits.
Thank-you very much for your review. We are thrilled to hear that you are so pleased with the level of care, staffing and management of our lovely home and you feel reassured that your Aunt's needs are being met so well. Best wishes.
My husband was initially in respite care in Woodfield Grange but due to my illness he has now moved there permanently. The Staff are friendly and supportive both initially and during the transition. There was been some confusion around medication but this has now been resolved. They have even arranged for a new sight test and two new pairs of glasses. Activities co-ordinator has even encouraged my husband to start to participate in the games, activities, events that are held each week. Relative meetings held regularly are informative and take into account any ideas or concerns that are raised.
Thank-you for your review and we hope that you are keeping well. We are really pleased that your husband has settled in so well and is participating in activities and enjoying living at Woodfield Grange. Best wishes
Really helpful and caring. Every need has been done and his needs have excelled in care.
Thank you so much for your review and positive feedback. We are glad that we were able to make a positive difference for Dad to be able to return home
We found this care home to be very caring. The staff when we visited were pleasant and helpful. They helped us through a difficult transitional time with my brother who was placed there for respite care following an incident at home. My brother was very happy there and we are only moving him to be nearer to us in the midlands. The home was clean and well kept.
Thank-you very much for your review. We are delighted that your brother's stay went so well and we send him our very best wishes in his new home.
Simply put, I cannot rate Woodfield highly enough. Mum was recently diagnosed with cancer and although not officially diagnosed is demonstrating signs of dementia. Going from being fully independent to requiring full-time care, including oxygen in such a short time has been devastating for us. The team at Woodfield are amazing. Mum's condition means she is often very confused, her attitude can be aggressive which it really pains me to say but the team are brilliant with her, always patient and caring. They can usually get a smile from her even on her bad days when she can't be bothered with family. We visit Mum often and we are always made welcome and provided with updates. The team are always happy to talk to us. Leaving Mum is always difficult but it's a huge difference and comfort to us knowing she is being looked after. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your lovely review and high ratings. It gives us great pleasure that you feel that your dear mum is being well cared for at Woodfield and that you are so pleased with the service and with our wonderful staff team. Best wishes.
My opinion is overall the care is adequate. The meals are lovely.
Thank-you very much for your review and we are pleased that you are enjoying the food and mealtime experience. Best wishes.
