Located in Halewood, Liverpool, Arncliffe Court consists of five single storey houses which offer a range of care packages including residential, nursing, respite, palliative convalescence and dementia care.

This purpose-built home has landscaped gardens, gazebos and a patio area. Each of its five houses provide a homely atmosphere and excellent facilities. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and offer delightful views of the garden.

A varied menu of delicious home-made meals ensures that each resident’s dietary needs are met, and lighter alternatives to full cooked meals are always available.

The dedicated activities coordinator provides a varied programme of activities including gardening, flower arranging and bingo. Entertainers often visit and residents even enjoy karaoke afternoons.

I visit my mum regularly and am very happy with the way she is cared for at Arncliffe Court Care Home - the staff go above and beyond in their care for the residents. My mum is always clean and well looked after and is very happy. The actual house is always clean and tidy and smells lovely today on
my visit (8/8/25). Thank you for looking after my mum.

Such a lovely place for Mum to be. Mum can be very difficult but the staff are all so lovely, caring and patient.


Mum enjoys the meals and is provided with lots of juice and cups of tea in her own mug.


You can see the residents are kept very clean and smart. Mum has fresh clothes on every day.


Visitors are welcome at any time apart from meal times so they are not distracted.


Everywhere is clean, tidy and fresh.


And lastly and most importantly we can take our dogs to see Mum.

Mum has been at Arncliffe Court Care Home for almost a month. We have been impressed with the care Mum is receiving. Mum is mostly happy, still asks to come home, but I'm sure this is natural. Arncliffe have made this process easier for our family.

My mum has only been in Arncliffe Court for just under 2 weeks and the change in her since leaving hospital is heartwarming. Mums family visit daily and we always feel welcome. We as a family feel confident that she is being well cared for.

The lounge is bright, airy and comfortable. The residents are happy. Mum says that the staff are busy, caring and lovely and she feels that the staff are busy, caring and lovely and she feels safe and well looked after. There is a very pleasant atmosphere and the food is just like home cooked.

Arncliffe Court Care Home has completely changed my opinion of care/nursing homes. It has given my mother a new lease of life. She is always kept spotlessly clean and well looked after which gives the family peace of mind. It was a hard decision to make but it was definitely the best. The staff are
always accommodating and have fantastic relationships and interact with the residents. Arncliffe Court is definitely A1 and would give 100% to all areas - care and cleanliness etc.

My expectations were so low after the lack of care my dear mother received from her previous care home. I couldn't have been more wrong. Arncliffe Court has exceeded any hopes I had for my mum with regard to her care and dignity. Unfortunately being 96 years of age, she soon required end-of-life care
and this has been administered with such care and kindness, I find myself overwhelmed and eternally grateful for the staff here.

I have rung the Paisley Ward numerous times and have today first visited the ward. Everyone I have liaised with has been very polite and helpful. My father seems very settled in the ward which is peace of mind for the family.

The staff here is wonderful
They go above and beyond, truly caring for the residents. Atmosphere is peaceful, but more activities are needed to keep residents engaged. Each house could offer unique activities, while allowing residents to join others. Gardening would be perfect with the beautiful green
areas available.
I would have rated this place higher if there were more staff, as a larger team could better meet each resident's needs, prevent falls, and ease staff workload.
There's also room for improvement in organizing residents' clothing. My mum's clothes often go missing, I've seen them on other residents. Labeled baskets for each resident's clothes could help avoid mix-ups.
Additionally, a solution to prevent residents from wandering into others' rooms would help protect privacy.
Better personal hygiene care is essential. I've sometimes found that my mum wasn't cleaned promptly after an accident, which risks infection. Immediate cleaning is crucial for residents' comfort and health.

The staff are very friendly and caring to Mum which has helped her to settle in.
The staff have also been very supportive of the whole family as Mum has been settling into Arncliffe Court.
