Located in Halewood, Liverpool, Arncliffe Court consists of five single storey houses which offer a range of care packages including residential, nursing, respite, palliative convalescence and dementia care.

This purpose-built home has landscaped gardens, gazebos and a patio area. Each of its five houses provide a homely atmosphere and excellent facilities. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and offer delightful views of the garden.

A varied menu of delicious home-made meals ensures that each resident’s dietary needs are met, and lighter alternatives to full cooked meals are always available.

The dedicated activities coordinator provides a varied programme of activities including gardening, flower arranging and bingo. Entertainers often visit and residents even enjoy karaoke afternoons.

My sister left sheltered housing to come here and she's much happier and safer! We love the fact there are activities and such. She joins in with a happier disposition.
We do worry about her being deaf and we arranged a hearing aid for her but due to her autism she's not happy wearing it sadly.

My aunt has settled so well here. I was apprehensive as she had additional needs and dementia, but I need not have worried. The staff are really so good. The activities for the residents are done with thought for everyone. There is always something going on in there; singers, bingo, panto, parties.
I made the right decision in choosing this care home. I can now rest assured knowing my aunt's needs are not only being met, but she is having so much fun with all the lovely staff from reception, carers and housekeepers to catering. We couldn't be happier.

The staff are lovely and do their best with what whey have and are very caring. The only issue we have are when Mum's things go missing and it's very frustrating to keep having to buy more items. I get that other residents go wandering but how to stop them taking things?

Mum is happy in this care home. When we visit, the staff are friendly and helpful and there is a good atmosphere. There are activities going on and the clients and staff all take part with plenty of laughter.

Mum went to Arncliffe in late December because her previous care home closed suddenly. My sister and I were delighted with our visit to Arncliffe. They promise so much but sadly deliver virtually nothing. Despite having an activities coordinator we didn't see any interaction with residents. It quickly
became clear to us that Mum was becoming weaker and very unhappy. We contacted the social worker who stated we need reasons to move Mum. The reasons we stated were as follows:
Mobility - mum wasn't walked for 4 days despite being able to walk. We informed the staff that mum had been hospitalised earlier in the year due to dehydration and that she needed a beaker as per her care plan. She was given a heavy mug of hot tea. She was often left soaking wet.
Mum was a falls risk, she required a low-profile bed which was in her room when we visited but was exchanged for a divan. She had 2 falls. Mum was taken to A&E and admitted to the hospital on 6/1/23. Mum is now fine, in a different home.

Our experience of this care home is it is run by a Management that promises everything but delivers nothing. In my experience, the home is not clean. In my experience, they do not care for their residents. They left my dad screaming for help and didn't attend to his needs. They didn't return when they
said they would. The room was cold. I would not recommend this care home for anyone's loved ones.

The Home Manager spent a lot of time with you as a family and with your dad to ensure his time spent with us was enjoyable as possible.


Your father's aim was always to return home and he never wanted to come to a Care Home. All concerns raised were reported to the relevant external agencies who completed investigations into each of your concerns. We also have a dedicated housekeeping team at the home seven days a week who have recently received an award for the home's cleanliness. We also have a dedicated maintenance team within the home and a 24-hour call-out service for things such as heating which is monitored on a daily basis.

My mum was having palliative care for the final two weeks of her life and the love, care and attention given to my mum was of the highest possible standard. We knew that she was being loved when we could not be there. We cannot thank the staff enough and hope they all stay safe and well in this present

My experience for my mum has been very good indeed. Management went beyond to help me secure respite for my elderly mother. Contacted social workers etc and made me feel at ease and reassured. Mum loved her stay so much she was upset when the time came to leave. The staff were wonderful with her and
kept her well looked after.

My mum moved into Arncliffe Court a few months ago and has settled in really well and made some very close friends. The whole of the staff and team are all fantastic and very compassionate in all that they do. My mum is encouraged to get involved with activities and it's lovely to see evidence of this
on their Facebook page. I would highly recommend Arncliffe Court to anyone looking for care. They have really given us peace of mind knowing my mum is looked after.

Having had experience of several care homes/nursing homes I feel the Childwall unit at Arncliffe is a special unit. The staff are so welcoming, kind and caring; they appear to be so happy in their jobs, so motivated by management and it shows in their care of the residents. The atmosphere is Childwall
is calm and peaceful. I feel Childwall has the right balance - the residents feel safe, secure, cared for and loved.

Lovely care home. Chose this one after considering many others. Was greeted by staff who explained everything. My great nan is only here for respite but when the time comes this will most definitely be the chosen home.
No odours, food is lovely and plenty of choice, staff courteous and engage with
the residents.
Manager's door is always open and pops out when visiting to say hello.
The rooms are bright and well presented and we were encouraged to bring in all personal things including being allowed to hang photos etc on the walls.
Gardens are well maintained.
We were asked to contribute to my nan's care file which I thought was nice because they were gaining a good understanding of who my nan really is as a person.
A big thanks to all the staff for taking the worry out of the whole process

My Mum has been a resident for 3 yrs. Her care and needs are met at all times. As a family, if we felt there were any problems they are addressed straight away any changes documented in Mum's file. We’ve had a very difficult time, the support from all staff, doctor and nurse helped my mum and us so
much and they still are. We are satisfied with Mum's care (although Mum can be very difficult). We are kept up to date with any changes.


The approach that the staff take is very compassionate, and also very professional when liaising with key stakeholders and medical professionals, to provide a holistic approach to continued care of our Mum. Mum and us have continuous support from all Staff.
