My morher in law recently moved into the Hammerwich Hall care home. During a very difficult time the management team have been amazing. Their caring attitude and supportive nature have been invaluable in ensuring a smooth transition from hone to care home. Their professionalism and leadership ensure staff are well trained, caring and provide a safe environment for residence in their care.

Parklands Court is absolutely amazing. My Uncle Frank has been here since Feb 2025 and all of the care team from admin to nursing are the most attentive and helpful pthey could be. Frank is very happy here, and the staff keep the residents busy and entertained, doing what they enjoy. They also give the residents a lovely news letter each week with activities to do, and things to read on it. I highly recommend this home to anyone considering a care stay. 10/10 ... 5*

This care home is very clean and tidy and the staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are clean and well presented. Everything has been thought about including the safety of the residents. Our relative enjoyed every meal she had

Mum passed away @ the care home after a long stay. Where she was looked after perfectly well, she was comfortable & clean & happy. All the staff knew her name & habbits. They were very supportive when Mum started to deteriorte in the later stages. We were able to stay with her all night & were well looked after when Mum passed away. The nurses & particular mention to Maryo & manager were very supportive & a big thank you to all.

We found Hammerwitch was warm welcome and could provide great support for our mom. She is very settled and happy.

The care home has greatly improved under Flenton, he has made massive strides foward all in a positive way. The activities have greatly improved and suit all residents, those with dementia really enjoy the music.

Excellent staff, food is good and what made it special is the way the table for my mom and stepdads 23 Wedding Anniversary, the service and check back on the meal was excellent as well and the overall atmosphere was good

My mother has been at Cloisters since February 2024, and the care that she has received there has been incredible. With the Cloisters team, I know that mum is safe and comfortable 24 hours a day.

The carers and nurses have a fantastic relationship with mum - they always take great care of her, get her to participate in activities (singing, dancing, crafts etc) and make sure that she eats her meals.

The best thing about the care home is the activities. Everyday, before lunch, there is a different activity which lets the residents exercise, socialise and enjoy the company of others.

I want to thank everyone at Cloisters for taking incredible care of mum and giving me peace of mind that she is always in safe hands. Thank you!

Our close friend was resident in Beech House for several weeks. He was placed there due to being discharged from hospital. There was aways a pleasant and friendly atmosphere with exceptional care from all the staff. They were always caring and helpful and his physical and medical needs were very well tended. Nothing was ever too much trouble. His family and friends were warmly greeted and well treated when visiting him, sometimes two sets of visitors each day. We would like to thank everyone for their kindness and dedication at a difficult time.

Mum Sushila was brought in January and she had very good care, right near the end of life she started to talk, eat and was very happy. I would like to thank everyone for the care and support they gave Mum.

Staff are friend - family friend to HR visiting while she is in the care home. Resident (HR) is happy in the care home. Use of the coffee shop and garden space well kept and looked after.

Mum was placed here after discharge from hospital. The purpose was to improve her mobility. She was treated with dignity and from day one was encouraged to exercise. The addition of physio made a massive improvement. Her confidence increased and made it possible to return home, I cannot praise the team in Kenyon House and the physio enough for their hard work.

My Mum has been a resident for nearly 3 years now. She is very happy and settled at the Priory. The management and staff make the Priory feel like home. They are all professional, helpful and really make the residents feel both welcome and cared for. I am very happy with the care that Mum receives and completely confident that her best interests are always looked after.

My mum was discharged from Wigan Infirmary to Bedford House for respite care and stayed there for 2 weeks. We found Bedford House very welcoming, comfortable and with good quality meals served regularly. The staff were superb - very friendly and attended to my mum's needs with great professionalism. My mum didn't want to be there but she realised it was the best place for her. Thank you all the staff for your care and attention.

Pleased with management you ask a question you get your answer always smiling.

Stall are always on hand if I need to ask anything or information re guarding mum.

The staff said "it's like a mad house in here" We are struggling to cope.

My Mom has been living at Hammerwich Hall Care home for just over 12 months now , during which time she has settled in well, Mom seems to be happy and content , she enjoy her meals and has gained weight , Mom also enjoys joining in with the varied activities and entertainment provided ..I am more than happy with the support ,respect and attentive care Mom recieves from the whole team of staff at Hammerwich Hall, they are more like a big family than staff and provide such a Kind and Caring atmosphere for all of the residents living at Hammerwich Hall. Not only do they look after Mom well they are also very supportive of myself , are very approachable and keep me updated about Moms wellbeing .
