My wife was at Redworth House for palliative care. When she first arrived we had problems some down to me and some to them but all my concerns were quickly address. After this shaky start the care she received was excellent from all the staff. My wife was treated with dignity and respect at all times,
the food I can not comment on as she would only eat ice cream by then but they did try. She passed away after 3 weeks and was prepared for next stage of her journey by them. Thank you all at Redworth House.

My husband was in Redworth Care Home for 17 months. I only have words of empathy support caring understanding and respect shown towards him by all the staff. They always made him feel comfortable and reassured him in times when needed. He always felt safe and spoke highly of the staff as I, his wife,
did too. I thank them so much for taking good care of him for me I will never forget all of the staff.

Oh my goodness, this place and it's staff are amazing. So patient and caring, and absolutely brilliant with my mum during her stay. We never thought that mum would get better, but the care and dedication of the amazing team on the IC unit has worked wonders, we will always be grateful to you all.

My sister is currently in Redworth House Care Home for respite. The care home is clean, modern, lovely and warm for the residents. I found the staff very warm and friendly. She has her own room with a TV and a nice view from her window where she can people-watch.

I visit my husband daily and always feel welcome. Very efficient and pleasant staff and excellent management. If I have any questions, they listen and comply with my wishes. My husband is well looked after and I always feel safe leaving him in their care. They treat all residents equally.

When Mum arrived at Redworth House she had been very ill ad dramatically underweight, she has been looked after and helped back to a good level of movement and weight gain.
She enjoys the activities and has made friends with other residents so interacts socially now. All staff are amazing and nothing
is a trouble for them to offer assistance and help.

The staff at Redworth House Care Home are kind and caring. They treat my mam with care and respect and make sure she is well and her needs are always met.

Fantastic bunch of girls who helped my mum through a really difficult time after she fractured her knee. Really caring, very patient and had a lot of time for my mum. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

First of all I can't praise or thank Redworth House staff enough for their care of my mam who was in Redworth for 7 weeks after a hip operation. They were wonderful with her from day one. In particular, thanks to the team on shift when Mam was really poorly. Also to the occupational therapists and people
I only heard of in name, the physios?
The care home itself looked like it had recently been refurbished and was immaculate. Highly recommended.

My partner has been in Redworth House Care Home since March 2023 becoming permanent in july 2023. I must say thing whilst the staff have cared for him exceptionally well they have also given huge support at all times. I feel part of their 'family' and this is extremely welcomed and appreciated.

have peace of mind that I can visit at any time and know he is settled and well cared for.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, always kind, even when having to be firm with care for my mother. They treated her medical needs but also made her laugh and appreciate what she had. Food was lovely, and she gained back the weight she had lost in hospital. Physio was good, and having people in to
do her hair and nails was a lovely treat.
Only criticism would be that there is an awful lot of work for only two staff at a time when the ward was full.

Staff were lovely and helpful, as my dad was taken here from hospital for end of life care. The care home made it possible for all family and friends to say their goodbyes, which would not have been the case at hospital.

Dad was completely settled since moving to this care home from respite at another home. All the staff interact with the residents with the best care in mind; always supportive to me too and there to help my concerns. Great activities and events, making Dad's stay better.
