I visit my husband daily and always feel welcome. Very efficient and pleasant staff and excellent management. If I have any questions, they listen and comply with my wishes. My husband is well looked after and I always feel safe leaving him in their care. They treat all residents equally.

When Mum arrived at Redworth House she had been very ill ad dramatically underweight, she has been looked after and helped back to a good level of movement and weight gain.

She enjoys the activities and has made friends with other residents so interacts socially now. All staff are amazing and nothing is a trouble for them to offer assistance and help.

The staff at Redworth House Care Home are kind and caring. They treat my mam with care and respect and make sure she is well and her needs are always met.
They are always welcoming to myself and family members who visit the home. The home is spotlessly clean and very modern.

Thank you to all the staff.

First of all I can't praise or thank Redworth House staff enough for their care of my mam who was in Redworth for 7 weeks after a hip operation. They were wonderful with her from day one. In particular, thanks to the team on shift when Mam was really poorly. Also to the occupational therapists and people I only heard of in name, the physios?
The care home itself looked like it had recently been refurbished and was immaculate. Highly recommended.

Many thanks.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, always kind, even when having to be firm with care for my mother. They treated her medical needs but also made her laugh and appreciate what she had. Food was lovely, and she gained back the weight she had lost in hospital. Physio was good, and having people in to do her hair and nails was a lovely treat.

Only criticism would be that there is an awful lot of work for only two staff at a time when the ward was full.

Staff were lovely and helpful, as my dad was taken here from hospital for end of life care. The care home made it possible for all family and friends to say their goodbyes, which would not have been the case at hospital.

Dad was completely settled since moving to this care home from respite at another home. All the staff interact with the residents with the best care in mind; always supportive to me too and there to help my concerns. Great activities and events, making Dad's stay better.

Absolutely amazing place! Just when we thought we couldn’t get my dad out of hospital, Redworth House Care Home pulled strings to get him a room, where we could spend what turned out to be his last 5 days, by his side. As a family we can’t thank the staff enough! Each and every member of the staff we dealt with, helped my dad and the rest of our family who were around to make things as pleasant and comfortable as physically possible! Can’t recommend this company enough to anyone who is in need! Please consider them. They’re literally amazing. Thank you guys for all you did.

Would not give this care home any stars. My mum attended for a week's leave and if she had stayed for another week would have been dead. Didn't look after her, not washed her, she had lost weight and looked as though she had been drugged up all the time. Staff need training in dealing with people with dementia or complex needs. Lots of her belongings went missing, informed staff and not helpful at all. The care home manager promised us that she would be cared for but she certainly wasn't.

Redworth House Care Home really welcome Mum from the hospital for intermediate care. She was so well looked after, especially by one carer. It enabled Mum to build up her strength and start walking again, with help from the physios and encouragement from the staff. The doctor's practice covering the home and district nurses was outstanding. The room was ideal, especially with the ensuite facilities. If it had been necessary, Mum would have been happy to stay there longer.

All staff who were involved with my mam's care were caring, professional, helpful and treated Mam with respect and helped in keeping her dignity. They also help us in feeling that Mam was safe, which meant we could sleep better at night. Nothing was a bother, and staff made time to update us on Mam's activities and her well-being.

Such a lovely home with dedicated staff. Nothing too much trouble. Encouraging with all aspects of care for my mother in laws needs. Encouraged her to have plenty of fluids, gained weight and enjoy socialising with other residents enjoyed her pamper sessions. Every member of staff from cleaners, laundry, kitchen staff, activities, carers, nurses and management have always shown her dignity and respect whilst being in there. She always speaks highly of them all.

My mother was admitted to Redworth House Care Home as she was no longer able to be cared for in her own home at the age of 91 years old. From the moment I met the manager and care staff I knew she was in safe hands. The staff were very caring and supportive to me at a difficult time. My mother had her own en suite room, and help was only a press of a button away. We were able to personalise the room with our curtains and bedding. Furniture could also have been brought in. My mother wasn't in the home long before she died. It brought me great comfort that she was looked after in her final days. I will always be grateful to these wonderful people.

I believe my father received the highest level of care. But what is just as important to me is the way the care was delivered. The careers and nurses were friendly, respectful and basically just nice people. The admin staff were very welcoming friendly people nothing too much trouble. Thank you to all.

Absolutely wonderful. My mum was treated with the utmost care, dignity and respect. The staff were all exceptional and went above and beyond their duty. Mum was there for six weeks respite and thoroughly enjoyed her stay. If the time comes when mum needs to go in full time, Redworth House Care Home will be the only one I will consider sending her to. One of the only care homes you can walk into at any time and there are no lingering urine smells whatsoever. Outstanding.

A brilliantly managed care home with professionally trained staff and activities coordinators.

It was a privilege to have my dad live here for the last two and a half years of his life. He had become a well-known name within the home and was always appreciative for the care he received. A well-loved man by all and even on the day of my dad's funeral representation from the Redwork House was deeply appreciated by our family. What more can words say than "Thank you to Redworth House"

Thank you. Your review means so much to us all. We learned such a lot from your dad and his wonderful experiences and adventures as a volunteer in the RNLI. Our trip to see the Lifeboats and the enjoyment of those seaside fish and chips on the beach will stay with me forever. We thank you for choosing Redworth House to be the care home for your dad.
