My father has been in Campion for almost three years. I've been very impressed with the care he has received, particularly since he is bed-bound; his skin is remarkably intact, except after a short spell in hospital.

My father has been in Campion for almost three years. I've been very impressed with the care he has received, particularly since he is bed-bound; his skin is remarkably intact, except after a short spell in hospital.
The staff in Campion have been very supportive as his physical strength fails while his brain remains active. He has just celebrated his 100th birthday there amid a truly celebratory atmosphere which has infected him to the point where he agreed to leave the home for the very first time to attend a birthday party held in his honour in his home village. He had a wonderful day with the help and support of the two carers who escorted him.
He eats very little, but the staff are always willing to cater to his tastes.
Before Campion, he lived alone. He could have moved to a home near us but would have missed all the interaction with his local friends. I live 200 miles away and it is great to be able to relax in the knowledge that he is receiving the best of care.
