My uncle is always well presented on visits. Everything is always clean and tidy. Such a good home, with excellent staff.

Towards the end of Mum's care, the leading nurses, in particular Donna and David, advocated for Mum, they used their clinical observations to back up recommendations for her treatment and liaised with other agencies to ensure her needs were met. We are forever grateful to everyone who cared for my Mum and helped her and us through this very difficult time. Thank you is really not enough, really!

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Bargoed Care Home. Their care, compassion and professionalism were truly exemplary, and I will always be grateful for the way they looked after Mum right to the end.

Outstanding care. Given fr more than two years. Never had any problems or concerns. Den has loved each day and has been cared for in all aspects of his needs. All staff are professional, kind and respectful. I spoke to the manager, stating how competent and skilled the care staff are. They are a credit to the home. They go above and beyond.

All the staff have been amazing helping my dad settle into the home. He seems very happy and very well looked after. There is always someone available to speak to, the home already feels like an extended family.

What a lovely care home. We had the most lovely welcome. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. My husband settled down straight away and the progress he has made is down to the staff.

I am very pleased with the excellent care my mother received during her 18 month stay in the home. Staff kept me updated whenever my mother's condition or medication changed. I am grateful to the management and all the staff for their hard work and for the kindness they showed to my mother.

Overall, I believe the care home is very good I would recommend it.

My mother-in-law went into the care home in May 2024, during that time spent there she was very well looked after, both medically and physically. She had the best care ever and really enjoyed the events such as singers etc. She passed away in March this year, 2025 and she was cared for as if she was a family member. We will never forget all the staff from management, nurses, carers, admin, cleaners and even handyman with kitchen staff.

While my mother was here she has been looked after with a personal touch - always loved to attend it felt like family. Thank from all our family for the lovely care she had been given. I would highly recommend the home for the care. Thanks again.

Bargoed Care Home is a very friendly and welcoming nursing/residential home. The staff always go above and beyond with any of my mother's needs and requests, and are polite and respectful at all times.

From the moment I entered the care home back in February 2024, whereby I was sourcing a new card home for my mother because of her dementia deterioration. My anxieties were immediately put at ease. The efficiency with which my mother was transferred within a week of my initial visit was second to none, all because of Bargoed Care Home. The hourly, daily and weekly care with extreme levels of dignity given by all personnel within the care home is way above the call of duty. Communication levels towards myself with updates regarding my mother are extremely satisfying, alongside the contact made with numerous support external bodies.

Bargoed Care Home provides a welcoming environment. The staff are friendly, professional and supportive. The residents have their own personalised space and have many opportunities for social interaction. There are opportunities to take part in activities for fun and well-being. Medical needs, health care and food choices are well met. The care staff work well as a supportive team, led by excellent managers.

My mam has been in the home for nine years. She loves it here. Staff are lovely and as long as her needs are cared for, me and my family are extremely happy.

When it come time for my nan to go into a home, viewed a few homes and Bargoed was the best for her needs.

The place is very clean and tidy, Nan loves the staff and food. The staff are very nice and caring towards Nan and go out of their way to help.

On arrival, always greeted with a nice, friendly manner. The staff are always very friendly and smiling. Nothing is too much trouble. All areas are immaculate and well-maintained. My friend is being very well looked after. Her room always looks lovely and she is always encouraged to eat and drink, even when she was poorly. The bathroom and bedroom are always spotless. There is always entertainment at holiday times and activities if they choose to join in.
