When my mother went into Benarty View, she was underweight and withdrawn. Her general health was poor and mobility was very limited. Since then, mum has returned to good health and very much enjoys living in Benarty View. There are loads of activities, which she enjoys. The food is lovely- the staff are very professional and caring - nursing staff have brought our mother back to us, as she feels safe, loved and cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home for your loved ones. Karen, the manager in the home is very approachable and knows each and every one of the residents and cares deeply for their welfare and that of their families. My mother has just thrived in this place and they deserve full credit for this

My step father resides here after requiring emergency nursing care. The home manager has been amazing from the very first contact throughout this stressful time. Every single member of staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming. My step dad has settled in instsntly and that is down to all the staff.
The facilities are first class, the home is clean and tidy and looks so inviting. It feels like you are in a hotel.
Cannot recommend this place enough.

I hope my step dad has many years to come living here and enjoying life.

I would like to thank all staff at Benarty View Care Home for your care, kindness and professionalism already shown from the first moment I contacted the home. My mum recently moved into Benarty View, and already I can see her confidence and personality return. She is smiling again which is great to see.
It's evident that each staff member is passionate in their role and been trained to the highest standard. Communication is excellent and it's clear that staff want to deliver the best care. Everyone I've met are so professional, friendly and aim to please. The home is very clean and bright with a lovely garden for residents to relax in.
Soon after admission, all the important stuff was in place and communicated to all staff to ensure continuity and everyone being on the same page.
I know how stressful it is trying to find the right care for your family. I have no hesitation in recommending Benarty View.

Thank you to the staff at Benarty View for everything that you do.

We recently moved mum into Benarty View Care Home after she had a fall at home and we felt she had become unsafe to live at home. The Management Team made our decision easy as we felt confident that my mum was going to be in good hands. The transition for my mum from hospital to the care home was made easy and they had mum settled in with a nice cup,of tea. The home is spotlessly clean and has activities going on every day and the staff are encouraging mum to take part in these. It is so reassuring to see mum sitting at a dining table eating home made food with other residents. All staff in the home treat the residents with care, kindness and dignity and go above and beyond to make sure all residents are happy and their needs are met. The Management Team which are wonderful are always on hand if we have any concerns and nothing is too much trouble for them. I am confident my mum is well cared for and I feel happy that I know she is safe so thank you Karen and all your staff.

A friend (who unfortunately passed away recently) was admitted to Benarty after being discharged from hospital. The care she received over the six months of her stay was first class, all the staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.
The home was spotlessly clean and the standard of the food and drink was excellent.

The activities programme was very good, there was something planned for every morning and afternoon.

Sadly, my friend died before she was able to enjoy the full facilities of Benarty View. The staff were exemplary in every way, they showed gentleness, respect, and compassion to my very unwell friend and kindness in abundance to everyone around them. When my time comes I hope I am as fortunate as she was - thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you did for her.

In difficult circumstances in December 2024, I had to find a care home for my father who had Alzheimer's and we could no longer manage at home. Whilst trying to get assistance from Social Services, I took the chance to phone Benarty View direct. We will be eternally grateful for the compassionate assessment of our situation and they assistance we were given; Dad moved into Benarty View that evening. I can't speak highly enough of the care Dad received in his 6 months at Benarty View. From the Home Manager right through to the domestic staff, Dad, my mother and I have been shown nothing but kindness. The care staff were genuinely interested in Dad and so incredibly attentive. From day trips and activities at the start, through to finally managing end of life care, Dad was so well looked after in clean, well organised surroundings. No hesitation in recommending and I genuinely miss seeing the residents and staff following Dad's passing.

I decided to move my mother from another care home to Benarty View in April 2025, and I'm so glad I did.

The Care Home Manager, Administration Team, Cooking, Nursing, and Care Staff have been nothing short of outstanding! Their approach is consistent and empathic, resulting in a vast improvement in my mother's health and sense of wellbeing. The team have helped mum get around her anxiety troubles and socialise well. They've also supported her with day trips and provided essential post-operative care following and emergency hip replacement.

My mother doesn't give out compliments easily however, she always tells me 'everyone' is being so kind and helpful which is reassuring. She always enjoys her meals and food choices too.

The care home rooms are traditional compared with new purpose built facilities, but the this is less important than the care provided. I would highly recommend.

My Mum moved into Benarty View two months ago after being diagnosed with rapid onset of Vascular Dementia. This was a very stressful time for me as sole relative. The Management team were so wonderful with me and understood how very difficult this was for me.
I cannot even begin to say how happy I am with my choice of Benarty View. The home is scrupulously clean, the staff are absolutely lovely and very well adversed with Dementia. Maintenance and garden are immaculate.
Washing and ironing must be a nightmare with so many residents but all Mum's clothes are clean in place and she always has a matching outfit on which was important to Mum.
The food is amazing and all home cooked. It was my Mum's 90th birthday this week and a beautiful home made cake and candles appeared at afternoon coffee time.
The activities are vast and fun and really focused on Dementia.

Mum took a good few weeks to settle in but with the help and care of the staff she is settled and happy.

Although Dad only had a week at Benarty View Care Home before he sadly passed, he was surrounded by genuine care, compassion and love during his days there. I witnessed at first hand the excellent care he received and know that his final days were calm, peaceful and comfort filled as a result. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Benarty either for Dad or us, his family. The entire team worked closely and seamlessly together to make Dad's experience outstanding. Sadly he wasn't there long enough to become fully part of the community that very clearly exists at Benarty. I cannot fault anything about our or Dad's experience and will be eternally grateful for their care of Dad as he passed. Thank you.

My wife moved into Lomond Dementia Unit at Benarty View Kelty on the 17th of November 2023 and was a resident there until my wife very suddenly passed away on the 8th of January 2024. In the short time that my wife spent in Benarty Veiw, I have to say that my wife was treated with dignity, respect, kindness, compassion, and a level of care and professionalism from all the staff which was truly exceptional and I cannot thank them enough for all that they did for my wife during her stay at Benarty Veiw. All staff involved in my wife’s care are a true credit to Benarty View and indeed Four Seasons Care.

My father was challenging because of his Alzheimer's combined with a strong personality, he found the transition of going into nursing care extremely difficult.

The staff made every effort to get to know dad and what his needs were. Despite his reluctance to join in activities, the staff were good at encouraging him but it soon became evident that dad's safe place was his own room. The staff were happy to spend time with dad in his room and nothing was too much trouble.

When he became very ill and was coming to the end of his life the nursing care was exemplary and the kindness from all healthcare professionals towards him and the family was excellent. Their work ethic as carers and the empathy shown was nothing but the best. The managers take great pride in the home they run and the quality of care that everyone provides. There is a strong family feel to the whole environment.

Whilst my aunt has only been in Benarty View for three weeks, I can see such a difference in her physical appearance and her demeanour. Prior to being transferred to the home, she was in a hospital side room and I felt that her health was going downhill rapidly however, since she has been transferred to Benarty View, she has come on leaps and bounds and is looking and feeling far better than she has done for some time. This of course could be down to the homemade food which looks delicious. The manager and team have all been amazing and nothing is too much trouble. I feel that she's very well cared for in the home, she's safe, happy and content and that's all anyone can ask for.

Benarty Care Home is a warm, inviting and very caring environment. The manager and her wonderful staff helped my husband through the process of ensuring his mum received the best care possible. At 92 years of age with progressing dementia, nursing care and social support will enable her to have a quality of life not possible living alone.
We live in Canada. It is a huge relief to know that my mother-in-law is safe and well nourished and in a stimulating environment.
Her room was beautifully decorated when she arrived. The manager ensured her tastes were taken into account. We are able to see updates on the social media page.

As a registered nurse myself I have visited many care homes. Benarty View is exceptional. We are so thankful and feel very blessed that my mother-in-law has a wonderful new place to call home.

My father has recently moved to Benarty View Care Home due to closure of his previous care home. He was welcomed warmly, with friendly staff providing the support he needed helping him to settle. Care was taken to introduce him to others with whom he could chat.
His room is well set up, including his own toilet/washbasin. There is a choice of lounge, in one of which he eats his meals, but he can also have meals in his room. When he had a fall and needed to go to hospital, staff kept me well informed, stayed with him until he was admitted, and went back with items he needed on the following evening when he was kept in.

Communication with the home is good.

Benarty View provides consistently high standards of care for my father-in-law, whom we see regularly.
He enjoys a raft of activities and is provided with lovely meals and lots of drinks to stay hydrated.
The home is always clean, with refurbishments taking place. There is a large, fantastic garden that residents and visitors can use.
The manager and all staff are very welcoming with very good communication channels.

All in all, my father-in-law is very well looked after, both physically and mentally, which is very reassuring for all of the family.
