St Modans Care Home

My mother has been resident in St Modans Care Home for a couple of years now. We had her moved after concerns over the level of care being received at her previous home. The level of care she receives is excellent, with the staff all being attentive and caring. The atmosphere in the home is very good, with the management being very visible with new ideas being put forward to enhance the experience of the residents. Very happy with the level of care received.

All good, no issues. Dad seems happy, and the family are happy. Extremely expensive though, but it is what it is. We are happy. The food seems good, and the staff seem excellent. Not much more to say.

Staff have all the information required, are prepared and are excellent in informing exactly any current or recent health or other issues/concerns. Staff are to be complimented on the professional way they deal with any issues/concerns and on the promptness in which they are dealt with.

Never had any issues. A very well-run home where the residents are well looked after. The home is clean and tidy. Staff are always attentive and helpful and approachable. The manager is also easy to speak to and discuss matters with.

My mother has been a resident of St Modans Care Home for a few years now. I have never had any complaints regarding any aspect of her care. I find the staff have always been very caring and compassionate and always been very respectful both to her and myself. I very much appreciate how well she is looked after.

My mum is extremely well cared for at St. Modans Care Home and the staff are very adaptable as her condition and ability to do things get less as time progresses. We are always kept informed of any changes in her condition and are welcomed warmly anytime we go and visit her. The level of entertainment and food on offer is always well appreciated by my mum.

Our mother is very well looked after with patience and kindness. Food is excellent and plenty of drinks offered. We are treated very well by all the staff when visiting, offered tea or coffee etc. Mother occasionally slips getting out of bed, we are informed immediately.

We, as a family, have found the staff and management go above and beyond in their care for our mum. Mum has been in the home 2 years now and they also are very kind to my dad when he visits every day.

We as a family are very happy with the treatment our loved one gets at St Modans Care Home. We are always well informed if there is anything wrong with our mum. The staff are always friendly when we visit and will do their best to provide us with anything we need. The meals are amazing and the food and drink are always offered to the family too. The entertainment is really good and everything is celebrated for every culture. Well Done!

The staff and manager were absolutely fantastic in accommodating our visit. Nothing was too much trouble, and as a health professional, I compliment how homely it felt, start to finish, and the person-centred care was clearly evident throughout. Staff were happy, and interactions were observed to be personal to each resident. A huge thanks to the staff and manager for their efforts today. Very welcoming staff from start to finish, and as a family, we were left under no illusions that the best of care was being provided at all times. Thank you, and keep up the fantastic work you are doing as a team.

Excellent staff and care to my mother.

Staff very helpful and friendly. My mother looks to be taken good care of. Her room is clean and tidy. I'm always notified of any incidents (ie, falls, etc). Food seems fine. Only complaint is some personal items go missing often, ie glasses, her false teeth went missing in her first few weeks of residency, and have never been found, same for her glasses/specs! (Also, her good watch).

St Modans staff have always gone above and beyond to provide the best care they can for my mum and residents. The support they give with care and compassion gives relief to family and a warm feeling their loved ones are well taken care of. The "we work in their home" is evident as you can see this by the attitude the staff show. Nothing is a problem, and they always do what they can to help. During this last year especially, it's been a weight lifted off my shoulders to know my mum has been so well cared for by these amazing staff and kept safe. Thank you.

Staff very friendly. Place looked very clean. Asking questions to staff, got good answers back. If they didn't know, they found out for you. He looked very well and had put on weight, so he is being well looked after.

From the start, I have found the home and staff have always communicated with us regarding anything to do with my mother-in-law's care. We are always contacted swiftly on any medical matters arising. Staff are always approachable and friendly. They appear to have a close, caring relationship with my mother-in-law.

St Modans, in my opinion, is the best care home my wife could be in. She is treated with dignity and respect, which means she is very happy and contented. The management and staff are very professional and caring and also very helpful to myself, that to me, is very important.

We are really happy with the care that my dad is receiving. All the staff have been extremely caring with him and have been providing for all his needs. Any queries that we have had have been dealt with promptly.

I have been visiting the home now for the past two years and have found the staff very supportive in the care of my mother. I am extremely happy with their security and the cleanliness of the room. No questions go unanswered, and there is always someone available to help with any queries. A well-organised care home.

The home has met all the needs of my relative to a T. The compassion and care are fantastic. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and have professionalism second to none. Management communicate extremely efficiently and respond to any questions in a timely manner. The most important thing is my relative is happy and content.
