Situated in the Scottish Highlands in Inverness, Daviot Care Home is a former hotel that has been fully converted to provide high quality, nursing care for clients affected by general frailty. The home also offers specialist units for those living with Dementia and Mental Health Conditions.

Throughout the home, you can find some of the latest technologies and each of the 90 en-suite bedrooms are fully furnished and finished to a very high standard.

The well-being of residents is paramount at Daviot Care as is safety and mobility, encouraging each person to remain as independent as possible.

The manager strives to provide a relaxed and happy home where staff and residents alike can enjoy living and working together. Residents are offered a full range of activities personalised to their needs to ensure they enjoy a good social life and hobbies.

Nutritious and tasty meals are prepared by the highly skilled catering team and can be enjoyed in one of the 13 spacious lounge or dining areas. Outside, the safe, secure and easily accessible landscaped gardens provide an attractive area to sit and relax or even enjoy a spot of gardening. Residents can also choose to pop into the hairdressing and beauty salon for a spot of pampering.

At Daviot care Home the provision of first-class care means staff encourage residents, and their families, to participate in the home’s commitment to quality and become fully involved at all stages of care planning, as well as many other aspects of care home life.

Residents have access to allied health professionals, including physiotherapists and podiatrists, and there is full medical support from local General Practitioners, the local hospital and the Community Mental Health Team.

The dignity and exceptional standard of care my mother receives during her short time at Daviot Care Home, has gone so much further than words can share. I am so glad my dad got a place at Daviot Care Home. He moved after a bad experience at another home and the difference is incomparable. The staff at Daviot are absolutely fantastic, dedicated, friendly, well trained and so caring. It's much more like a big family than a care home. My dad is happy,
very well fed (with his special diet catered for) and mentally stimulated. As a family, we couldn't be happier with the high standard of care he is receiving.

The care my husband receives at Daviot Care Home is exemplary. He has Alzheimers disease and staff are very well trained to support him with all its complexities. All staff, in whatever capacity, treat him with kindness, respect and dignity. Care staff are solution focused when problems arise and work
closely with the GP. All residents have a care plan in place to suit their individual needs. My husband's special diet is catered for and he enjoys his meals. Activity Co-Ordinator's support his mental health and well being. The excellent senior management have created a friendly homely environment where staff, residents and families are all valued.

My wife was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2014 and was cared for at home until 2020. Professional care had become a necessity and she was admitted to The Lodge at Daviot Care Home. She is now in the advanced stages of the disease.
I visit regularly and am of the opinion that the care and facilities
at The Lodge are excellent and far exceed that of other homes I have visited. All the staff are friendly and polite and there is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere throughout the home. My wife couldn't be in a better home.

One of the things I really love about my job is interacting with residents on a daily basis while also having the opportunity to manage the home and create a safe, secure environment that enables residents to lead fulfilling lives. I also pride myself in creating an environment that allows staff to feel supported and appreciated for the work they do.


Daviot is very much part of the community, with the majority of residents having local connections and most colleagues living close by.  This has created a very homely atmosphere where relatives and friends become part of the family at Daviot.


For the residents, Daviot offers a kind and caring environment where they feel respected and supported in maintaining their links with the community. We strive to allow them to maintain as much of their independence as possible with the assurance that staff are there to support them whenever needed.
