Christina began her career as a nurse in 1986, then travelled the world and worked in many different countries. She returned to Scotland to raise her family and started working in a local Care Home to suit her childcare needs, but quickly found a passion for working with the elderly.
Starting in 2010, she was originally based in the Morningside Care home for almost 12 years. She worked with the team to develop the service, ultimately achieving a grade of 6 at inspection in 2019.
Christina moved on in 2022 to become a Senior Care Home Manager within the organisation, and after 2 years in East Kilbride, Christina moved to a sister home in Biggar, where she continued her drive to promote the best outcomes for residents, relatives and staff.
Morningside has always held special significance for Christina, and she returned in late 2024 to support staff, residents, families, and the wider community. She is committed to leading the home on a journey to further enhance a true “home from home” environment and to make a meaningful, positive difference to the lives of everyone who lives, works, or visits Morningside.
