Mum is happy with the care given by the care staff and happy with food also.
There are a few areas that could be improved eg: new carpet and wifi facilities - but all in all, all good.
Again, thank you to the nursery, care staff, entertainment and office staff.
Many thanks.
Friendly, hard working, caring staff, who do an excellent job.

Thankfully the manager arrived in 2019 and during this time the service of the home has been improved dramatically.
COVID19 : Since March 2020 the Manager has orchestrated a very efficient and extremely successful plan of action during this very difficult period, which has included the introduction of a video call system to residents and also extremely good dialogue with relatives to provide regular updates regarding the ongoing situation via conference calls and e-mails.
To back up the successful way in which Rawyards has been run there has been no positive cases of the virus which is a wonderful achievement when compared against the overall situation with all care homes across Scotland.
I would like to thank you both for taking the time to complete this review, your comments are very welcoming and very much appreciated especially at this unprecedented time. Again Thank you from all the staff at Rawyards.

My mother only spent just over two weeks at Rawyards for palliative care. During this time, she was extremely well looked after and the staff were all extremely supportive, both with Mum and with us.

I have found the care home a satisfying outcome in so far my husband's admission is only weeks. The staff are trained in all aspects of care, namely looking at him as an individual with their own special needs. Gratifying for me as my husband is blind and therefore requires extra attention. The staff are friendly towards visitors, recognising you by name. I particularly noted seating, where the residents are well placed, not in a circle. The senior staff answers any questions re health and how he is settling into the home.
The patients are very well looked after. We are always kept up to date with how my mum is. All staff do excellent.

I couldn't thank the staff enough at Cedar unit for the care given to both my parents. The palliative care my dad is receiving is outstanding. Also, the support given to myself at these difficult times, you all have been amazing. Thank you so much.
Home is always clean and tidy, homely and welcoming, warm and comfortable. The staff are friendly, always willing to help, have outdoor activities and day outings for patients. Could do with more indoor activities on daily. Food is acceptable. In general, having no workings with any other care...
As for value for money, my mum pays out all her hard-earned savings.
Mother has been resident in Ash unit for approximately 1 year 3 months. In this time my mother has been well cared for, staff are extremely approachable and helpful, nothing is a problem to them. I would have no hesitation in recommending this service. (Highly recommended).
