My mum spent six well-cared-for years at Kenyon, and as a family we will always be grateful for the care and support she received during her time there. Throughout those six years, the staff always had Mum's best interests at heart. They treated her with kindness, compassion and dignity, and it was reassuring for us as a family to know that she was being looked after by people who genuinely cared about her wellbeing. Over the years, we have also seen many improvements made to the home. These changes have made a real difference and have helped to create an even better environment for the residents. We will always remember the warmth, kindness and dignity the staff gave Mum during her six years at Kenyon. Their care brought us comfort and reassurance, and we will remain deeply grateful that they helped make Kenyon a place where Mum was not only looked after, but truly valued and cared for as part of a family.

Mum indicates that alls well on our visits, she has regular pop ins from staff on the present ward and from her previous ward. Food is good and she seems to enjoy it, as she clears her plate 9 times out of 10. Overall she is well looked after and is as comfortable as she can be.

My mother-in-law is receiving excellent care & support at a very difficult time in her life. The staff are going above and beyond what you would expect to help her in ways that are un-forseen. They have been very professional in difficult & challenging circumstances. All round, very impressive.

My grandad felt welcome and settled for his 3 weeks respite care. The home is well organised, with clean environment and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely recommend for other service users.

A very dear friend who I have known for over 50 years developed Vascular Dementia and onset Alzheimer's. I looked after her for a few years while she was able to stay in her flat. Two years ago her condition deteriorated. We both lived in Kent. My friend has a lovely Goddaughter who lives in Bolton and would regularly travel to Kent to visit her. Because of my age and health my friend's Goddaughter and I decided it was time for her to go into residential accommodation. It was more practical that she moved into a residential home in Bolton. Her Goddaughter found Farnworth Care Home. What a blessing.

I find it hard to put into words all the love and care my friend is receiving in Farnworth Care Home. The kindness of everyone, whether it is a telephone call to speak with your loved one or a member of staff to discuss how she is. The management and staff, including the wonderful daily carers are always available. I cannot speak highly enough of Farnworth Care Home.

It is always a very hard decision to make to agree with doctors for a loved one/family member to go into a care home. So it gives me great relief and pleasure that I've found Abbeydale Court care home in Hamilton for my mum. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff are very friendly helpful respectful to everyone. The care home is also run fantastically well and the cleanliness is excellent. I've found the care home very laid back and a relaxing atmosphere and environment to be involved in. My mum is very happy and content now 3 months down the line. She is also eating better and doing well which makes me feel better too. It's great to see through social media and staff all the activities planned and executed for the residents and family members too if they wish to take part. I certainly try to get involved. It's a special place so would highly recommend Abbeydale Court Care Home. Thank you to all the staff and everyone else concerned.

The Manor Farm Care Home was very welcoming when my dad became a resident. The care home is spacious and have lots of natural lights coming through. Staff are very nice and caring and will try to accommodate my dad's needs.

My mum has been a resident of Manor Farm for the last 3 years and I am very impressed with the high level of care that has been provided to her. The nursing staff are always attentive, kind, caring, compassionate and treat my mum with great respect. My mum is always clean, well fed and happy. The home is providing a level of care that I could not provide my mum at home. I am kept up to date and well informed about any changes in my mum's health or situation. I am always told when mum is resident of the day. I also know that I can reach out to the ward at any time. I have had several phone calls this year from the manager. She is so warm and kind and nothing is too much trouble. As a family member, I feel reassured that my mum is in Manor Farm and that she is safe. The ward is clean and so is my mum's room. The facilities are good and I am pleased her meals are keeping with her being a vegetarian. I cannot praise the staff, manager or the home enough. Thank you!

Attentive and caring staff, who have made my dad feel welcomed. Always friendly and happy to help. Doing their very best, in a busy environment.

I visited Heron Hill yesterday to be with my Aunt on the sad occasion of her daughter's/my cousin's funeral.

The Heron Hill team were wonderful. They helped with all the arrangements and were welcoming to us as a small family group and so supportive to my aunt. She is clearly very well cared for and supported.

A special thank you to Nicola, Rob, Sandra and Patrick for accompanying us at the funeral service itself, that was so kind, and to the catering staff for the delicious food back at Heron Hill.

Everyone made a sad day so much easier. The laughter back in the Library after the funeral said so much.

Our family trusted Wrottesley to care for a loved one with Huntington's disease who was completely vulnerable. Instead we experienced poor care, poor communication and a lack of accountability.

On one occasion he was left without essential medication for 5 days, resulting in hospital admission. He also suffered repeated aspiration episodes, choking incidents and cellulitis. We repeatedly raised concerns that his SALT care plan wasn't always followed and on several occasions he was given the wrong salt level food.

Management rarely responded to concerns and we were made to feel like the problem for expecting safe competent care. Although some carers and the activities team were genuinely kind, many staff appeared stressed and rushed.

He was ultimately evicted because we 'expected too much'. Thankfully he is now thriving in another nursing home. Based on our experience, I would never recommend Wrottesley. Avoid it for the safety of your loved ones if they have complex needs.

I wanted to say what a lovely afternoon me & my family had, at the summer fete at Primrose Hill, lovely food, drinks, ice creams and entertainment. All staff were brilliant took care of residents and there family's all so how nice the lounge is looking newly decorated new garden furniture. The gardens look so nice and welcoming. A big well done to all staff and cooks.

I find the manager first class, there will occasionally be problems and she sorts them out with speed and care. The room is good and the food excellent, the carers are, in the majority efficient and effective. Overall a good experience.

My friend had cloths & food stolen from his room from other in mates, I brought him a bowl of fruit, placed it in his room, took him in the main yard for an hour, when we returned the bowl and the fruit was missing! Told the staff and they was not interested and told us it happens all the time because doors are not locked

A very good home. My husband is very well looked after by all the staff they also make sure I am alright My husband has been here two years

My uncle was put here temporilly from hospital, at first manager was very communicative with messages regarding care, appointments etc. Long story short, my uncle took a liking to another female resident and was following her & spending time & on occasions I believe kissed her. Safeguarding reports became the normal Text messages from manager to myself, she called and ambulance 1 evening to send him to hospital as she said he needed 1 to 1 care & that wasn't being paid for. Luckily paramedic refused as no medical reason to keep him in hospital. His clothes and other items went missing constantly, food was cold when we were on a visit, his personal hygeine was an issue, smelling of urine. Too much too put on here!

Whilst the staff in general are, and always have been, excellent and service user centred, notable mentions should go to the now departed Manager, Alison Wakefield who worked her fingers to the bone whilst driving the home continually upwards over a number of years; Julie Redwood, the Office Manager who has been there for many years and nothing is ever too much trouble for; Julie Stone, the Wellbeing Champion who is indeed a champion in every sense of the word; and Diana Nkerahabizi, Assistant Manager, another really excellent professional.
