My husband has been at this care home for 9 months now, he has been looked after well. I requested for my husband's 74th birthday party to take place in the Activity Room. The activities team displayed a beautiful decorated colourful birthday theme for my husband, and we were both overwhelmed with the
hospitality, care and support from the staff, as well as the home manager being there, and supporting whilst the cutting of the cake.

From the first day Cathy came here and had lunch she was made to feel welcome by the staff on duty. It was amazing how well Cathy settled in. It was a worry because of her Alzheimer's, we thought she would be scared, but she has felt at home from the beginning. Being here over a year now and she has
put on weight and is content. All the staff are kind to Cathy and to us when we come, so its always a pleasure coming here. Her room is kept clean and there are a lot of different activities for her. Can't praise the staff enough for their hard work and kindness to Cathy and her visitors.

My husband has been in this care home for the past 18 months. He has settled very well and will tell me how good it is and that he loves it.
He is very well looked after by all members of staff. He attends many of the activities provided and even gets one to one music therapy.
I have noted how happy
all the staff are going about their work, they always acknowledge you when you visit .
The food is first class and the chef goes above and beyond to cater for the residents. The taster nights are a wonderful idea and it gives relatives an idea what is being served.
Communication is excellent and the monthly updates are very useful.
I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

My mother recently passed away. She was a dementia patient and had been in the care of Cromwell House since 2017. Over this lengthy period of time the care and support provided to my mum was exemplary. She was not always the easiest person to deal with, especially in her early years in the home, but
the staff were patient, understanding and caring. They treated her with dignity and compassion in often trying circumstances and ensured that her needs were fully met.The staff kept me informed on her condition on a regular basis and, in what turned out to be her last year, their communication with me were regular and informative.
Whilst there had been a number of staff changes over the time my mum was with the home, I found all staff to be extremely good and they ensured continuity in her care .Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Thank you for all that you did for her.

My Mum moved to Aarandale about six months ago. From day one, all the staff have been very welcoming and supportive to her and to us. The standard of care is very good indeed - all the staff are genuinely interested and caring. It is a huge comfort to have an experienced team of nursing staff on site
and to have a GP easily contactable and so close. The activities and entertainment offered are great fun - it's lovely to see my mum participating and also sometimes join in! The easily accessible and very pleasant garden is a huge bonus.

What an absolute pleasure to know your family member is treated with compassion, respect, caring and consideration. It actually is like being at home, feeling secure, safe and lovely clean environment. Everyone is always there to lend a hand, support and carry out their duties with total professionalism.
Ten out of ten for effort and treating everyone equal and important duty of care. Top marks.

I have visited many nursing homes, Aaron Court is outstanding. The manager and all the staff are professional, kind, and sensitive to the needs of the patient and their relatives, always available. The home is very clean, and the rooms are furnished to a high standard, providing comfort and wellbeing.
I can highly recommend Aaron Court

Farnworth Care Home

I have settled in very well. Although the staff appear to listen to what you're saying, I find their relaying of messages is rather poor. I find the environment very noisy during the day. I have commented on the noise, but nothing changed. The food is very unappetizing and repetitive. Most of the staff
are very caring.

My sister, Olive, has been in the Barleycroft Care Home from July 2024. During that time, as next of kin, I have been kept informed of Olive's state of health and treatments proscribed by the visiting G.P.
I have had good contact wth the staff when visiting the home, finding them informative to questions
asked and in all, generally helpful.
My sister seems happy in her situation and does not complain about how she is treated.
