Generally very happy with the care at Aarandale manor. The staff are so caring and helpful. There is a large communal lounge dining room for meals + entertainment. There are always plenty of carers available, some medical staff on duty. An excellent care/nursing home, my father is very happy there.

He is now much more settled - I think the routine and activities make a big difference. Everyone is friendly. The nurses are calm, kind and caring - this is what has made such a huge difference to his happiness, as he can get agitated and anxious, but they are good at managing him in a way that calms him down and maintains his dignity. Aarandale Manor has genuinely changed our lives. They have cared for my mum for the past six years; she is only 66 and living with end-stage progressive multiple sclerosis. I cannot express enough the impact the staff and management have made on her life. They have supported her through every stage of her illness with patience, dignity, and genuine love. They have gone above and beyond their roles, and have become not just carers, but dear friends. The difference in both her health and mental wellbeing is undeniable.
More recently, my grandfather also became a resident after losing his wife last year and experiencing several falls. At that time, we couldn't see a light at the end of the tunnel. But the carers and staff at Aarandale have given him a new lease of life. He is now happy, safe, and comfortable - something we once weren't sure would ever be possible again.

My Mum moved to Aarandale about six months ago. From day one, all the staff have been very welcoming and supportive to her and to us. The standard of care is very good indeed - all the staff are genuinely interested and caring. It is a huge comfort to have an experienced team of nursing staff on site and to have a GP easily contactable and so close. The activities and entertainment offered are great fun - it's lovely to see my mum participating and also sometimes join in! The easily accessible and very pleasant garden is a huge bonus.
