When my friend first moved into Aarandale I was very apprehensive after the first week my mind was changed by the friendliness of the staff, and how thoughtful and caring they are. Welcoming us as part of a large family making my friend feel safe and included in all that goes on. It is always clean
and fresh as are all the residents. There is always great consistency of staff.

My mum stayed in Aarandale Manor for the last week and a half of her life, having been in hospital for nearly 5 months. Words cannot express our gratitude for the respect, care and empathy shown to both my mum and our family. The home is beautiful, as are the rooms but it is the staff who are the real
asset here; such a contrast to the level of care delivered at Mum’s previous home. Everyone of the staff was lovely and did everything they could to make Mum’s last days as comfortable as possible, which also made it so much easier for her family to just focus on spending time with her. The staff are skilled carers and nurses who genuinely care about each of their patients. I cannot recommend Aarandale enough.

When I first arrived I thought 'my god it looks like a hotel'. Beautiful paintings, a piano and delightful garden. Many other things to do for those who can take part. Televisions are huge. The best head nurse. Try it for yourself. Thank you.

My mother has been a resident here for a few years, this is the best care home I’ve seen and I’ve seen almost every care home in the north and northwest London. The nursing staff are exceptional as are the carers they go above and beyond to provide excellent care. The manager is the best manager I’ve
ever experienced in any care home (including this one before her arrival) she has the kindest heart, she is the sweetest person and has amazing compassion and clearly loves her job and her residents very much. I cannot recommend Aarandale Manor enough. The care they provide my mother has changed both her life and ours for the better.

My father has been at Arrandale Manor for almost a year now. He was at another care home before that. I feel so at home at Arrandale and he settled in very quickly here. He has early onset vascular dementia and the staff really took their time to get to know him. He can be difficult at times, but they
know exactly how to handle him in this situation. My family visit him frequently and feel a lot more comfortable coming to Arrandale than they did at the previous care home. I just get the feeling that all the staff really care and go over and above expectations. The manager is beyond fantastic, sympathetic and so approachable. She has been a rock for Mum and I during our lowest point and has really supported us.

Although my father's stay at Aarandale Manor was short, the care that he received was excellent.
Real concern and care was shown by all those involved. The team were always on hand to answer questions and we found their concern was for the family as well as the resident.
Unfortunately, my father passed
away whilst in Aarandale but their care and concern continued.

When my wife and I first stepped into Aarandale Manor we knew that this was the right place for Mum.
Everything about the care home felt right. She has been a resident now for nearly 3 months and already she has fitted in well.
The management and staff are amazing. It is such a comfort to know that
Mum is being so well looked after.
It's lovely to see the staff interacting with Mum and watching her laughing and joking with them all.
Cannot fault the home - layout is excellent. Rooms spacious and very clean. The food is of a very high standard. The nursing care is very professional.
They put on daily activities and it's great to see the staff and residents joining in as one big happy family.
When we visit, we are always made to feel welcome.
Aarandale Manor is an exceptional care home - highly recommend.

My mum was a resident at Aarandale Manor for 4 years and was happy from the beginning. She loved how bright, modern and clean everything looked and called it "her hotel". "When are you coming to stay here?", she would say to us. At all times the staff treated her with kindness, dignity and patience.
She became very close to the care and nursing staff in particular and enjoyed a good repartee with them. The home gave her a wonderful 100th birthday party! The clinical care, kindness and love shown to our mum by the care staff at the end of her life was quite exceptional and we remain very touched by it. Under the current manager, the home has gone from strength to strength. She has moulded an excellent, conscientious and caring team. We have no hesitation in recommending Aarandale Manor Care Home!

My elderly brother has been a resident of Aarandale for almost three years and the family are very happy with the care he has received. With dementia, it has not been easy for the staff to deal with him but they have gone above and beyond normal responsibilities, particularly after his recent periods
in hospital and resettlement to the home and specialist care. Ably led the various teams have shown standards of dedication for which the family are most grateful and we would also thank several members of staff in particular for all that they have done and for settling our minds at rest. We would also like to thank all others and those we have been unable to meet to assure them that their time and trouble is much appreciated. Always on our visits, our relative is clean and presentable, properly washed and shaved, having taken his regular medication and treated with great kindness and friendliness. We are most grateful.

My mum was a resident in Aarandale for the final 3 months of her life and passed away end of July 2022. This was the 3rd care home she was in and the first home that I was truly happy with. The home is very nicely appointed with nicely furnished communal areas and bedrooms with en suites. I believe
there was a good ratio of carers and nurses compared to other homes, many of whom went beyond the call of duty and were exceptionally kind to mum in her final days and weeks. Sometimes a resident will still want more time than the carers have and at weekends staffing levels seemed a little lower, but overall it seemed much improved compared to previous homes so I would definitely recommend this home. The care home manager was also very understanding of religious needs and was extremely kind and helpful when needed.

I joined this care home on approximately the 28th of April 2022 after being a hospital patient. I was straight away welcomed by the staff and taken to a comfortable bedroom complete with a bathroom on the first floor. I was then given lunch and left to settle in, which I soon did. I was very impressed
with the standard of care, which I still am. I would therefore recommend the care home to anyone considering joining as a resident.

My Great Uncle has been a resident since February 2022 and I can happily say that he is very well looked after and cared for and I have no concerns or worries about him like I did with his last nursing home. He is treated with dignity and respect and he has had no complaints since moving into Aarandale.
He has a very nice room on the ground floor with a good view of the garden and greenery. The staff are lovely, friendly, warm and compassionate and I enjoy my weekly visits and always feel pleased when leaving that he is in such a nice care home.

My Mother was a resident from September 2021 until June 2022. Mum was looked after extremely well, all staff knew her giving her time addressing her always by name and reassuring her. As a family, we were all made very welcome and enabled to visit as often as possible, not easy in difficult times with
window visits and the pod facility the only ways to achieve this. Very important to us and her that these visits were facilitated and able to take place. Mum's cultural background was embraced and encouraged which enabled her to be comforted in times of uncertainty and need. As Clinical Lead at Aarandale Manor, I am responsible for overseeing the highest standards of nursing and clinical care within our home. My role is to support and guide our care team, ensuring that every resident receives safe, effective, and compassionate care tailored to their individual needs.


With extensive experience in nursing and elderly care, I am passionate about mentoring and developing our team to deliver excellence in everything we do. I work closely with the Home Manager and Clinical Deputy Manager to make sure our practices not only meet but exceed regulatory standards, while always putting residents at the heart of our decisions.

Riley is our much-loved Shih Tzu, aged 3, and an important member of our care home family. She plays a special role in creating a warm and homely environment for our residents, their families, and our team.


Riley has a natural gift for lifting spirits and brightening days. Whether she’s happily chasing her ball in the garden, keeping the admin team company in the office, or enjoying a quiet cuddle with a resident, she has an incredible ability to bring comfort, laughter, and a sense of calm to those around her.


Her presence has a wonderful impact across the home—helping residents feel more relaxed, encouraging conversation and interaction, and offering families the reassurance that their loved ones are surrounded not just by caring people, but by a caring community.


Riley is more than just our care home dog; she’s a loyal friend, a source of unconditional love, and a reminder of the joy that comes from simple moments shared together.

Enrique takes pride in creating varied and carefully crafted menus that cater to every resident’s tastes and dietary requirements. His expertise extends to tailoring meals for specific cultural and religious needs, including those of our Jewish community, ensuring everyone feels cared for and included at every mealtime.

As Maintenance Manager, he ensures that our home runs smoothly, keeping the environment safe, comfortable, and welcoming for residents, their families, and the team.


Haider thrives on the variety his day-to-day work brings, from hands-on maintenance tasks to problem-solving around the home. Equally important to him is his interaction with residents and staff, as he enjoys building relationships, lending a helping hand, and being a familiar, friendly face throughout the home.
