We are very pleased with the care my father has received so far at Manor Farm Care Home. After an awful experience at a local hospital, my father entered the home with a stage 4 pressure ulcer due to neglect. My father has been at the home for just three weeks, and already his ulcer is healing and reducing in size. The staff are excellent because they do their jobs with compassion. Everyone seems happy and positive which gives the place a lovely atmosphere. The management is very good at keeping in touch with us regarding aspects of Dad's care too.

My Mother has been a resident for just under six months and although I do not know about other Nursing Homes to compare with this one I can only say that I am impressed. From Pravene (Home Manager) who I have met several times down through all the staff I can only say that I am impressed with the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of all the staff. Any problems encountered have been explained as to why certain items are not allowed and the reasons why. I can only reiterate that I am happy my Mother is a resident and is being cared for here and she is happy in herself and this to me proves the level of care provided by all the management and staff

Mum and I were keen to move dad from his former care home to Manor Farm where he would receive good care. The manager and receptionist were easy to catch on the phone, and detailed conversation could also be had via email. The transition went smoothly and picture my surprise and delight when on my first visit I see dad being fed pureed tasty food. The manager gave me a chance for a 1 to 1 to smooth out some queries, and after a few days these were followed up and sorted. Thank you!

My husband has been at this care home for 9 months now, he has been looked after well. I requested for my husband's 74th birthday party to take place in the Activity Room. The activities team displayed a beautiful decorated colourful birthday theme for my husband, and we were both overwhelmed with the hospitality, care and support from the staff, as well as the home manager being there, and supporting whilst the cutting of the cake.

From the first day Cathy came here and had lunch she was made to feel welcome by the staff on duty. It was amazing how well Cathy settled in. It was a worry because of her Alzheimer's, we thought she would be scared, but she has felt at home from the beginning. Being here over a year now and she has put on weight and is content. All the staff are kind to Cathy and to us when we come, so its always a pleasure coming here. Her room is kept clean and there are a lot of different activities for her. Can't praise the staff enough for their hard work and kindness to Cathy and her visitors.
