A very well run home, allowing me peace of mind. I totally trust them with the care of my mother. The environment is luxe whilst also being practical, a special place run by special people.
The management is sound and the team work well together, establishing good relations with the residents. There
is good transparency and good comms with the family.

Father in need of much nursing care. Nursing staff and Care staff have all been just terrific - on the ball, caring, empathetic, encouraging and communicative to Dad and to the family. He says that they are "his superb team" and he's not wrong!
Splendid ambience, and fabulous food. Staff are thoroughly
wonderful, somehow remembering who we all are, and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble.
A thoroughly lovely place, and people.

A lovely home surrounded by lovely carers and nursing staff. Very high standard of food and you can request a special meal. Nothing is a bother, just ask. How about a run to a seaside town with your afternoon tea included?
The grounds are wonderful just to wander about and gardening classes are held
to plant primroses. Pansy and Viola etc. Very peaceful and you always enjoy a lovely welcome from the staff with each visit.

Mum has had a really good time at Creggan Bahn. She enjoyed all of the activities over Christmas and New Year, although even she had had enough singing. The staff look after her so well; there is a clear rapport between her and all those looking after her. The nursing staff are so helpful in looking
after her, and the kitchen provides her with a very specific diet.

Excellent service from all departments. Nursing, caring, catering and activities. Also, if my cousin needs anything fitted or moved in his room the maintenance person is always eager to help. Could be doing with more staff to ease the pressure on the existing staff. My cousin is well cared for which

I consider my experience in Creggan Bahn Court to be very positive. The staff are very professional in their outlook. As in most care homes, staffing is an issue. They are very hard to find! The environment in Creggan is very relaxed, and the layout and communal areas are first-class. Certainly far
more superior to my previous nursing home.

Dad's room is gorgeous. Scattered lounges provide a choice for a quiet chat, concert, or cup of tea with tasty home baking! The maintenance, laundry and kitchen staff are super-efficient and provide a warm, spotless, and healthy home with outstanding meals. The activities team are full of energy and
ideas and has a strong commitment to the individual. The carers and team leaders have an impressive level of cheeriness in their demanding roles. They work extremely hard to gain Dad's trust and in understanding his needs. I love that they show interest in his past as well as his ever-changing present. He describes them as super. The nursing team are professional, highly proactive and fierce in their determination to enable the best recovery possible. The management is excellent, highly experienced, committed and responsive. The culture they instil is evident from the moment you arrive. Having helped relatives into 8 other Homes across the UK none have provided better care than Creggan Bahn.

My dad has been a resident in Creggan Bahn for the last couple of years and my mum lived there from 2017, having suffered a stroke, until she died in September 2021. My dad has dementia which has been worsening over recent months. I have to say that the care that they have received from the staff at
Creggan Bahn has been exceptional, even through the difficult times during the height of the Covid pandemic. The end-of-life care for Mum demonstrated the commitment and genuine care of the staff to the residents and also to us as a family dealing with the loss of one of our parents. I live locally and regularly visit and take my dad out for walks (in his wheelchair) and I realise how fortunate he is to live there with such good access to nice level routes for pushing the wheelchair along the seafront with a good range of cafes nearby. Dad is clearly happy living there. I would have no hesitation in recommending Creggan Bahn as a care home.

We are both delighted with the exceptional quality of care and support offered at Creggan Bahn. From day one, we have both been warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Staff have made great efforts to get to know my husband as an individual, to find out his preferences and the very best ways to care
for him. Everyone is incredibly patient and kind, never rushing my husband, always going at his pace and taking the time to listen and understand. They are a happy staff with a great sense of fun - peals of laughter are often heard from his room as jokes are shared, and staff tap into his sense of humour. Creggan Bahn feels like a family home - it is warm and welcoming and safe and fun - but it is also professional and purposeful, with a hardworking and committed staff who operate as a team to create something that really is quite special in every way. We feel blessed to have become part of this wonderful establishment - a haven for my husband and my second home. They deserve every accolade.

My mum has been in Creggan Bahn now for 12 months following a spell in hospital after a stroke and heart attack. She was very poorly when she went in, and the staff were amazing with Mum, giving her such a warm welcome and great nursing/medical care.
Creggan Bahn has so many wonderful staff who are
all very kind and caring. I feel Mum is very safe living there, and we are confident she is being well looked after both from a medical and quality of life point of view.
The home is lovely, and staff go out of their way to meet the requirements of the residents even when that is out of their normal procedures - they flex according to the needs of each resident.
The manager is super responsive to any comments or feedback, and the whole ethos is a very caring yet professional approach.
I dont have any experience with other care homes, but from talking with people who have, I feel very lucky that Mum is where she is.
A big thank you to all the staff and the management team.

Creggan Bahn Court is the third care home Mum has been in, so I have some basis for comparison. It is, without doubt, the best of the three. The overall attitude of the carers, nursing and management staff is very supportive. They have always been happy to listen and act on any issue I've raised. I
genuinely feel that the staff want to do their best for the residents and make life as good as it can be. As an example, on Sunday afternoon we took Mum out and ended up coming back a bit later than planned (past the start of dinner time). However, Mum and I were warmly welcomed at the front door, with several carers asking how we had got on. One of her carers then immediately went off to find out about getting Mums dinner tray brought to her room. There was no issue about us being late back, and everyone was just pleased that she had managed to get out and had a good time. It's wee things like that which make the difference and make me so grateful that we got her into this care home.
