I don't usually give reviews as other homes haven't been great whilst my mother has been in respite but I just have to give review for this one!
My mother has Dementia and we use nursing homes for some respite. This was the first time we used Arlington and I cannot express how well this nursing home is run. The staff were exceptional always plenty about catering to all the residents. All sorts of activities are on for the residents, a real homely place!
The staff even came up to me and my sisters and just asked about my mummy and her life, they showed such interest they were lovely.
It was beautiful, warm and cosy at Christmas time and my mummy was always happy when I came to see her in it. If I ever had to choose respite again Arlington would be my first choice.
This home should be recognised and awarded for its exceptional care standards.
Thank you again Arlington and staff from me and my sisters.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad you are happy with the standard of care, particularly the activities and home-from-home feeling. I will ensure the team at Arlington read your kind words. Best Wishes.
My mum spent a short time at Arlington House. During her time there she received excellent nursing care. The staff are kind and compassionate and provide resident centred care that is of the highest quality. The home itself is spotless and her room was exceptionally comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home for those needing care.
It was difficult for my father at the start due to a new environment but all the staff have been excellent caring for him and attending to all his needs. They have been absolute stars in supporting our family as well, answering all questions and addressing any worries we may have.
I work in the healthcare services myself and was blown away by the heartfelt personal care my mother received throughout her stay. These lovely memories will stay with us, and all staff in the home are a credit to their profession.
The management are both efficient and welcoming and the nursing and care staff are all that I could have wanted for my sister. Also my sister is delighted with the quality of meals.
My sister is being cared for in a very professional way. The staff are friendly and my sister is usually pleased to see them. When working with her they are gentle and caring, overall I think that the care is above average.
From my view, my sister is being cared for in a very professional way. Staff are caring when working with her. The care is above average.
