My wife was in the care home for nearly a year. I had no major complaints. Any problems that arose were dealt with. I would recommend Belmont Care Home. The staff were excellent.

Belmont Care Home wasn't just a place of care for my aunt, she considered it her home. The staff would go to great lengths to provide for all my aunts' needs. I was always content with my aunt's well-being and safety.

We are very happy with the professional nursing care, especially the pressure sores she arrived with. My mum has been very well taken care of. She has improved dramatically; physically noticeable. Improved mood, eating well and sitting in the wheelchair. Sores all healed - so we are delighted!

When my late husband was being transferred from hospital to Belmont Care Home I was apprehensive. I had no previous experience with care homes and did not know what to expect. However, I need not have worried, from day one the care and attention he received from the staff was first class. They looked
after him as if he was a member of their family and I have the utmost respect for them. I would definitely recommend Belmont Care Home to anyone.

My father lived at Belmont Care Home for the past 3 years of his life. We were very lucky to have the very best staff in Belmont to give my father the "Human Touch" when it most mattered. Dad died last month.

Dad received a friendly welcome to Belmont. He was treated with dignity and respect at all times. He received great care from all the staff, who were like a second family to us. They did all they could to make Dad comfortable and pain-free during his last months. The manager, administrator, nurses and
care staff were always approachable and helpful. I felt at ease knowing Dad was receiving great care in a safe environment.

My Aunt has been extremely well cared for at Belmont Care Home. She was kept safe during Covid and all her needs are attended to. The manager and staff are always available to speak to and everyone goes that extra mile to help. It is very obvious that the staff at Belmont love their jobs, many of them
seeing it as a vocation.

My aunt got leukaemia at age 88. I was coping at first with the daily help from care workers, but her condition got worse and different infections also happened, so spells in the hospital to get treatment. All this happening with the coronavirus getting worse, but luckily, she never contacted it. So
with the help of the health and social, care trust, social workers, doctors and nurses, she got a placement at Belmont. All the staff have been faultless and professional.

The care my cousin received from when she arrived 5-months previously until she passed away in December 2020 was excellent. Management/nursing care gave me confidence/reassurance that my cousin was settling into her new home, in the middle of the pandemic. Update and advise always given. Visits well
organised with covid restriction/video calls were necessary for lockdown. The office manager - very helpful and I felt I could phone any time. The activity coordinator was wonderful at setting relatives/clients, so full of empathy for both. Nursing staff cared for my cousin with great compassion until she passed away.

Belmont staff are excellent, they took very good care of my mother in her final weeks, under the extreme difficulties of Covid. I was able to spend my mum's final hours with her with the support from Belmont's amazing staff, in the final stages of her dementia. Thank you.

My father became a resident of Belmont early in the year.
The staff were very patient with him and did everything they could to ensure he became comfortable and confident in his new surroundings. The home is very clean and welcoming and kept the family updated regularly during the lockdown and have
endeavoured to provide visiting opportunities in line with the necessary Covid-19 guidelines. I am very happy we chose Belmont or our father.

All staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble. Mum is always very calm and relaxed around staff and is extremely well cared for. Entertainment and food are excellent. I would highly recommend Belmont Care Home.

Very friendly and approachable manager and staff. Mum's needs taken care of. Pro-active attitude to contacting GP and family if there are even the smallest concerns for mum's health and well-being. Activities leader maintains a weekly programme of events as well as developing good individual relationships
with residents.

During the 20 or so months my mother was in Belmont, I was continually impressed with the support and care she required. This included day to day support from the care staff and care specialist support from the nursing staff. This extended to mealtimes when all staff did their best to ensure she received
the nourishment to sustain her. This was made clear to me when she spent time in the hospital when she received nourishment through an IV line rather than the normal food route. Then she returned to Belmont. All staff put considerable effort into improving her situation through continued but proportionable prompting to ensure nourishment through the food intake, which they achieved. In her last days, all staff went the extra mile to ensure she was made as comfortable as possible which I appreciated. Belmont also boasts a comprehensive course of facilities to support all the needs of residents.

Recently my father, who is 92, choked on a piece of food in the dining room. The staff immediately dealt with it and dislodged a portion of meat. My father informed me today that he thought he was going to die and if it hadn't been for the quick thinking and professionalism of the staff at the time,
there might have been a completely different outcome. The staff under the new manager are all excellent. I was informed by phone of the incident so that it would not be a shock to me the next day.

My father was in Belmont Care Home for eighteen months with Dementia and we can not thank all the staff enough for the loving care and kindness given to him.
It gave the family peace of mind to know he was being looked after so well and was treated as one of their family.
We were always welcomed to
visit at any time and enjoyed a cup of tea with dad.
Every one of the many staff were friendly and spoke to dad and he loved a laugh with them it was certainly not a sad place to visit.
So thank you all for taking great care of dad during this time in his life with dementia.
