Overall very good service.
Issue - access, frequent;y having to wait to be 'buzzed in', doors awkward to open when taking a wheelchair through, narrow space, can't open door and push chair simultaneously. Lip on door saddle difficult to push chair over and can be painful for aunt as she is shaken

I would just like to say that I am very happy with the care my mum receives at Camphill Care Home. I know my mum doesn't know what's going on around. I have told them that once I smell mum I will tell them. The home is so handy for my dad and myself, dad lives at the top of the road, I live at the bottom.
But the staff are so friendly and helpful, and not appreciated enough.

This care home is second to none. My Mum received the dignity and respect she so deserved every single day she was there. I was always kept up to date with any test results or alerted to any concerns they may have had and I always felt we could ask them questions at any time. The support and compassion
we received at the very end was amazing and I cannot emphasise how much I would recommend this care home. ALL staff members were outstanding and I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and care they gave to my precious Mum.

I can't thank the Management and staff enough for the 5 weeks respite that they provided to my Father. From my first time contacting the Manager to my face to face contact with all staff, they were friendly and helpful at all times, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They treated my Father
with respect and dignity and their professional and supportive approach to his respite and treatment, is the reason he was able to return home after his illness.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I cannot praise the team highly enough for care my dear Mum received during her time at Beechill. Living in England, it was a tremendous comfort to know she was receiving such an amazing level of care: something I was fortunate to see first hand during my visits.
It was also incredible to see this
care and compassion was extended to all who visited: the warmth of the welcome and happy, positive atmosphere was infectious! I know that my Dad and my Sister have made friends for life among the staff! I know that both still pop in regularly.
My Mum was always smiling and laughing and it was clear she felt at home among her extended Beechill family. It was very touching to know that many of the staff were deeply upset at her passing, and indeed some were with her when she slipped away peacefully.
It is abundantly clear to me that the entire team LOVE their work and the enthusiasm, positivity and dignity displayed was amazing. The words "CARE" & "HOME" are very appropriate. THANK YOU ALL!

My mum is a resident at the home, she has had a stroke and has dementia. The care she receives in this home is fantastic. They are treated so well, very caring staff. They also are kept entertained which I feel is very important. Great home.

I have found my experience in Lisburn Intermediate Care Centre since my husband was admitted in Jan 2025 to have been a welcome and warm experience. The staff all the way through have been professional, caring and compassionate towards my husbands and also myself.

All the staff were absolutely amazing! They provided warm care and detailed attention to my partner's mum whilst in residence at Beechill for around 14 months. They treated her mum with dignity and respect at all times and also looked after family members and visitors very well! Thank you so much for
the care you provided and the amazing work you do.

Beechill Care Home

My mum spent just over a year at this lovely home. It allowed her and my dad to focus on each other while her physical needs were attended to by the staff there and gave them a last year just to be with eachother. I am a GP with over 30 years of experience and have attended hundreds of nursing homes
during my career. I have never witnessed better than Beechill. The dignity, professionalism and above all friendliness and love they showed both my parents was indescribable - words can't really do it justice. During the few times I got back to NI to see mum, staff were regularly singing as they passed her door and clearly loved their work. Several staff were with Dad and my sister at the time of her passing and weren't afraid to share their feelings and emotions with them. There was absolutely no pressure afterwards to clear mums room and my dad regularly still goes to see the staff there whom he regards as friends. Thankyou xx

Strathearn Court Care Home

My mum went into the Care home approx 6 mths ago just before her 93rd birthday. She settled quickly and enjoyed her time there. The staff were all very friendly and attentive to my mum's needs. There is no doubt that they brightened my mum's last months and the activities staff got her actively involved
in whatever was going on. Comments made to me by my mum left me in no doubt that she had become very fond of the staff members and had a laugh with them. Unfortunately mum passed in early October but again the staff were fantastic and made her very comfortable. Speaking personally from my experience I would have no hesitation in recommending Strathearn Carehome to anyone.

My Granny was a resident at Beechill for over a year, and was looked after with so much care and attention from her first day to the last. The amazing team there worked to such a high standard while treating her with kindness and dignity, and her big smile when any of them walked in to the room made
it clear this was round the clock. This was extended to my Gramps and parents who visited nearly every day, and the only (half hearted) complaint was that there were 'too many biscuits'! The team were great at communicating any changes or concerns, with solutions suggested for all. The facility itself was very well ran, immaculate at all times, and in a fantastic location. Could not recommend it and the lovely team there enough!
