Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My aunt was placed in Comber Care Home in Nov 2025 for rehabilitation after a long stay in hospital. She settled very quickly with the help of the staff who welcomed her and made her feel comfortable. My aunt was treated with dignity and respect and enjoyed getting to know the staff. It puts family's
mind at ease when your relative is being cared for and that they have really enjoyed being here. Thank you.

Mum has been in Greerville since Fed 2025. I am delighted with the care she has received. All the staff are friendly and cheerful. They treat mum as family. She is happy there. She was very ill over Christmas and the care was extraordinary. We (the family) feel so lucky that Greerville is the home that
mum is spending her last days in.

Cherryvalley Care Home is an outstanding home. My mother was there for several weeks until she passed away. The room was lovely, bedding and curtains matched furniture modern, always kept immaculately clean. The staff, from kitchen , domestic, admin, nursing and manager was exemplary constant attention
and supervision, treated my mother with respect and dignity, nothing was too much trouble. So much empathy and care towards the residents and covered all measures in place for end.

Tudordale Care Home

from David B (Son of Resident) published on 2 March 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I liked the atmosphere in the home, staff were always pleasant and patient with the clients. I'd visited one or two nursing homes prior to Tudordale but found the cleanliness of the Tudordale the best. I could say on behalf of my mother who had dementia that she was happy and content there. Staff in
such a place make a place that cares for their clients and in this nursing home they were incomparable.

Greerville Manor Care Home

from Kathleen F (Sister-in-law of Resident) published on 16 February 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our sister in law suffers from Alzheimers and has been a resident here since June 2024. She has settled well and always looks well cared for. Staff are vigilant and welcoming. The layout of the home is excellent for our sister in law who still walks independently and can do so safely. There are a number
of lounges which can afford privacy for visits, family celebrations and quiet times. The decor is constantly updated according to the season or event, e.g Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day etc. In good weather, the garden is an additional asset. We highly recommend Greerville Manor Care Home and its staff.

From the outset my interaction with Irmina and her team has been amazing. Irmina has been informative and helpful when I was looking at care homes. When she accepted mum, the whole team have treated my mum with kindness, dignity, respect and humour. Within a month my mother refers to Cherryvalley as
her home and she has become more sociable, lighter in mood and happier. If she has any queries or concerns they are addressed immediately. Staff are amazing to mum and me. I am very pleased that she is here. Long may it continue!

Clandeboye Care Home

from Julieanne S (Granddaughter of Resident) published on 5 February 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The hardest thing you ever have to hear is that your loved one has to go into a nursing home. That was the situation we were in when we found clandeboye. My granny was extremely head strong and tried her best to be independent so we were worried about her transition from home but with Laura's help (and
telling her she was going to go stay in a hotel) the transition was smooth. Laura's dog was also such a life line! Wee Murphy became her wee chum! The staff went above and beyond with her personal care and her social well being. Encouraging her to interact with other residents and taking part in daily activities. Their activities coordinator Carmen is an absolute angel who goes the extra mile for every one of the residents. The support we got when granny was receiving end of life care and afterwards was so very much appreciated. The staff are worth their weight in gold and treated granny like family right up until the end in May 2025. We can never thank the staff at the home enough

Dad initially entered LICC for rehab following a fracture, and ended up staying 2.5 years. He was unable to return home due to his lack of mobility and other health conditions. As a family we were keen for dad to remain at LICC due to the good care and attention he received. The nursing staff managed
dad so very well, were trustworthy and kept us informed in a timely manner of anything we needed to know. The activities staff were also great with dad, involving him and encouraging him in a range of activities that he enjoyed and having a good old banter with him. Not forgetting the cooks, the cleaners and admin staff, who also go a long way to ensure LICC is run so very well. Dad's room was always kept clean and fresh and we observed the cleaners throughout the building working away to keep the place clean and tidy. Dad could be grumpy at times, but all the staff worked with him so well and we appreciated their compassion towards him. Thanks to a brilliant LICC team.

LICC is of comfortable, well-equipped, modern home. Rooms are clean and warm and the ensuites are excellent. The staff are professional friendly and helpful - they provide a high level of personal care . Health issues are carefully tracked and documented - there is good reporting to the family. There
is a regular hairdressing, chiropody and activities. The home management are approachable + friendly. This is a well-managed care home.

Manor View Care Home

from Patricia F (Wife of Resident) published on 7 January 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My husband's dementia went into a rapid, downward spiral towards the end of October 2025. For over a year, my objective had been to keep him safe, well, happy and at home. By October, despite his daughter and son-in-law putting their lives on hold and moving in with us, it became all too apparent that
this was no longer viable. We had been supported by my Minister and our GP throughout. Following hospitalisation and stabilisation, a room was made available at Manor View. As soon as I heard the news, I rang and asked if I could call and see where he would be staying. We live in the Bangor area, so I was able to call right away. The first thing that struck me was that I was welcomed warmly and given a tour of the suite where my husband would be staying. After such a drastic change in his life, his arrival in Manor View was like the sun coming out after a period of darkness. His care is exemplary, the staff are wonderful. Above all, my husband is happy.

Although I have rated staff good there are a number of staff that are excellent - Katrina/James/ Sally/ ANthony and new guy Raymond provide excellent care at all times.
Food is satisfactory - Ivan doesn't usually like the choice of food at teatime - breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks are all good.
The 2 ladies who organise singing are very good ad they encourage residents to take part. Visit rooms and chat handyman available and he too is friendly.
