Cherryvalley Care Home

from Heather C (Daughter of Resident) published on 3 November 2025
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum, has been a resident at Cherryvalley since December 2023, and I couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful care she receives. The staff are always kind, friendly, and professional, and they treat Mum with such compassion and respect.
Mum is cared for in bed and has the onset of dementia, but
she is always warm, comfortable, and well looked after. Every member of the team - from the manager and nurses to the care staff and cleaning team - is fantastic. I know many of them by first name, which shows the caring and personal atmosphere in the home.
I would highly recommend Cherryvalley to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and professional home for their loved one. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do for my mum.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the treatment my wife received during her stay at Beechill Care Home. It was of great comfort to know that she was receiving the best possible care and attention from a committed, compassionate and conscientious staff. Being a daily visitor for well over
a year, I saw at first- hand the dedication and hard work of everyone who was employed there. My wife and I were treated like we were part of their big, happy family. I have made a point of making regular visits at their invitation, as I miss the staff, and I consider them part of our family. I always make a point of singing their praises when the opportunity arises, and will continue to do so.
Once again, I can't thank you enough for everything, and hope to see you again soon.

I cannot praise and thank all the staff enough for the lovely care, warmth and attention they showed my Mum. Nothing was a problem to them. My Mum was always smiling and laughing when she was in contact with any staff member. She was treated with dignity and respect as if she was a close family member,
right up to the day she passed. Some off the staff were even at her bedside when she slipped away.
We were always kept informed of any concerns they may have had with Mum's health, and were quick to offer resolutions. The nursing care is fantastic!
My father visited every day and was always spoiled with cups of tea and biscuits. We have made some life long friends and we've been back to visit these wonderful people and will stay in touch.
The home itself was always clean and fresh and is in a great location with wonderful views of the city.
P.S. Please keep me a spot if required xx
Thanks for all you do.

My mum moved to Strathearn Court Care Home in May 2025 from hospital. From the moment she arrived, the welcome and friendliness she received made us feel comfortable which is very important when moving to something new. As time moved on and Mum's health deteriorated the care she received was brilliant.
They encouraged her, reassured her and met her every need. At the end of her life they were caring, approachable and were with us during this journey. Mum passed away with peace and dignity and we were with her. We will be forever grateful.

My mum was in the LICC for 2 1/2 months for rehab. Although rehab was not totally successful the care she received was beautiful. The team were all very kind and thoughtful.
The food was the only part of her stay that was disappointing. Myself + others would bring food to their family members.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The staff and management of Tudodale Care Home are excellent! The care, compassion, understanding, humour and common sense shown are excellent. My father had been in their homes. Of them all, Tudordale was the most run and managed and the most understanding. The staff from the cleaners (excellent!!)
to the manage and all inbetween, couldn't have been better or more gracious. The home itself, as a building, should be afforded more, to match and expand the staff's abilities and care. The outside car park and entrance should be improved to encourage others to view the home in its correct light.

There is an excellent atmosphere at Belmont. From the 1st day my mum arrived, there has been a warm welcome. Mum is extremely well looked after by all nurses and carers. No job is too small and all Mum's needs, particularly now her mobility is reducing, are met with friendliness and a smile.
I could
not be happier with the care she receives and this stems from the home manager and all other staff.

Staff always courteous and helpful when I interact with them, only fortnightly visits (caring duties at home). I find everything appears calm and in order. Waking my sister she greets everyone with a big smile so I take it she is happy with staff as she speaks only a few words necessitating reading
her facial expressions. Dental hygiene improves when I have had to point out gum condition a known problem. I find laundry hard on clothes, shrinking them, some get damaged and named socks go missing. It would be helpful for enquiries if phone signal covered all areas of Glendun.

My husband is a resident of Camphill Care Home Ballymena, and was a farmer until 4 years ago.
There is nothing going on for the farmer, such as videos of one man and his dog working with sheep. He also likes motorbike racing and motor racing, and nature programmes. Unless staff put on a new tube for
him, he doesn't know how to do that. I hope these come into action soon.
