Exceptional care, kindness and love. My mum lived at Cherryvalley Care Home for two and a half years, and I cannot praise the entire team highly enough. From the manager, nurses and carers to the kitchen, domestic, maintenance and laundry staff and hairdresser, everyone helped make it feel like home. Mum was cared for with genuine love, dignity, patience and compassion. She was truly known as a person, with her own little ways, likes and dislikes, and was always treated with warmth and respect. During her final days, the care shown to Mum and to our family was exceptional and something I will never forget. I will always be deeply grateful to everyone at Cherryvalley for making her feel safe, cherished and loved. It is everything a care home should be, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Cherryvalley Care Home is an outstanding home. My mother was there for several weeks until she passed away. The room was lovely, bedding and curtains matched furniture modern, always kept immaculately clean. The staff, from kitchen , domestic, admin, nursing and manager was exemplary constant attention and supervision, treated my mother with respect and dignity, nothing was too much trouble. So much empathy and care towards the residents and covered all measures in place for end.

From the outset my interaction with Irmina and her team has been amazing. Irmina has been informative and helpful when I was looking at care homes. When she accepted mum, the whole team have treated my mum with kindness, dignity, respect and humour. Within a month my mother refers to Cherryvalley as her home and she has become more sociable, lighter in mood and happier. If she has any queries or concerns they are addressed immediately. Staff are amazing to mum and me. I am very pleased that she is here. Long may it continue!

My friend was admitted 2 weeks ago, and I can honestly say it is a pleasure to visit her. She is always clean and tidy. Clothes and pyjamas changed every day. I know this as I do her washing (her request). Every member of staff show true professionalism and utmost respect to both myself and this lady. A wonderful team of staff on every shift.

My mother Eileen has been a resident in Cherryvalley Care Home for 8 years and she has been really well cared for and has been very happy there. The front entrance area has been recently upgraded and this has made the home much more welcoming for visitors. The management and her team are always very friendly, professional and approachable.

I love my bedroom. There is plenty of room, it is bright and I am able to bring in my own belongings that make my room very homely. The menu choices are very good, always hot. The staff are very caring and attend to my personal needs in a respectful and dignified way. Staff listen to what I am saying and act on it. I have the best of both worlds, I can enjoy my own company or socialise with staff and other residents. Three days a week activities are offered and seasonal entertainment is offered where I can invite my family.

Cherryvalley has been home to my brother for the past two years. He suffered a severe stroke which has resulted in him needing intensive nursing care. Management and staff have been terrific with him, always treating him with kindness and respect. Sadly he cannot communicate so as a family we are so grateful for the nursing care and attention he is receiving at Cherryvalley Care Home.

The moment you walk into Cherryvalley Care home there is a bright look, fresh smell and a happy atmosphere. The reception area is similar to a good hotel with lovely, comfortable armchairs and an electric fire by the wall. My sister loves going there during the day and people watches all the coming and going. My sister is very happy at Cherryvalley and often comments on the excellent care she receives and how the safety and security allows her to sleep in peace. A wonderful team at Cherryvalley. Please keep up the great work you do for your patients.

I contacted Cherryvalley when my mother was due for discharge from hospital.
The manager was quick to confirm availability and conduct assessment.

As a family we are completely satisfied with the nursing care she is receiving and couldn't ask for more. The staff have tried to make her feel at home and are attentive at all times.

We attended the Christmas party and everyone had a great day. Our aunt had a brilliant day and even got her feet moving to the music - she's 97! Since she moved here in November 2019, the change in her has been remarkable. She has a good choice of food and has put on some weight as she was down to seven stone. I could not praise the staff enough as they worked very hard to ensure that everyone had a great time. Definitely 5 star.
