The family is very pleased with the care our mother receives. Management and staff are very attentive and always go the extra mile, ensure clients are cared for with dignity and respect. The building and equipment are well maintained and clean.

My mother has been a resident in Cherryvalley Care Home for just over 5 years and is very settled now. The staff are generally attentive and try to respond to my mother and her individual needs. The staff are friendly and are always open to discussing any matters relating to my mother's care needs. Thank you.

Very clean and pleasant environment. The friendly competent staff made Mum welcome and did all they could to keep her safe, clean and comfortable. The open door policy encourages friends and family to visit and a visitor was made welcome, offered refreshments and encouraged to support Mum in adjusting to her new home. Manager and staff are very accommodating.

I am very happy with the overall care my husband receives. The staff are caring and competent. The new manager has made a great impression on me.

Since my mother has moved here she has been very happy; the staff are second to none if there is any type of problem, they are on the phone to me asap. They never let her down. Her health is 100% better, her care is fantastic, I feel when I go home she is looked after and I know she is safe. I would recommend this care home to anyone who only wants the best for their family.

I am 70 years old and my mother, 2 aunts, my in-laws and now my brother-in-law have all experienced care homes, more than one in some cases. I have done a lot of visiting to all of these care homes, so I think I am in a position to judge with some knowledge and objectivity whether a care home is giving optimal care etc. I have visited Cherryvalley Care Home many times. My sister, of course, visits her husband frequently. I have found all staff to be professional. From the many interactions with staff which my sister has reported to me, they have been caring, positive and reactive. Similarly, my brother-in-law has always said to me that staff are very good.

A nice care home, pleasantly situated with a good outlook. Staff are friendly, attentive, helpful and efficient. I am kept well informed regarding my brother's health, hospital appointments etc. The nursing staff keep excellent records and are very transparent when asked for any information. In all, I'm impressed by how the care home is managed.

They are always very welcoming to family members and always take time to answer any questions or concerns about mum's health and wellbeing.

It is obvious to see when entering the home that the staff are friendly and helpful. Nursing is first class especially relating to end of life care which is second to none. Relatives are not only kept informed of any developments as there is their own welfare which is taken into account. Our decision in choosing Cherryvalley Care home was not only the right place for our relative but also a good outcome for us.

A relative needing to go into a care home is a very difficult time for every family. Every family experiences a lot of anxiety as to how their loved one will fare. The staff at Cherryvalley Care Home are wonderful - kind, caring, considerate, warm and friendly. Support is there for the resident and their family. Any time the buzzer has been used - the response has been prompt and considerate. Other care homes may have better decor but in my opinion, kind, caring staff is the priority.

Overall the nursing, care and cleanliness is excellent.

My Mum became a resident of this home after recovery from a fall and a time in hospital. Very soon she was mobile again and with the encouragement and patience of the staff she soon loved her new home. She had a happy 3 and a half years there and the staff were excellent as progressively Altzheimers Disease took her from us. The care and love given was un-paralleled. The whole team without exception dealt with her as if she was their own mother until her death on the 27th September 2015. Their support for the family after her death was considerate, sympathetic and they were clearly distressed themselves having lost her. We have nothing but the highest regard for all the staff without exception and would fully recommend it to all needing care and support.
