My granny moved into Carnalea last September. She & the whole family have been delighted with this move. We have seen her improve in mood, and just looks much happier. The staff are all compassionate, caring and display a real sense of care and affection for their residents. Granny enjoys the food,
the company and speaks highly of the staff. She particularly enjoyed Sasha the dog visiting. Her room is always kept clean and it is great being able to make it her own. We have no complaints and are very happy with Carnalea.

Dad sadly had to go into a care home due to ill health. Initiall Dad was cared for by the hospital home team in Comber Care Home and we were impressed by the professionalism and caring nature of the staff, therefore when it was clear that Dad could no longer live at home his family made the decision
to keep Dad in Comber Care Home despite other care homes being closer to family. The nursing staff and carers take a real interest in Dad and are very friendly and helpful.

The care and support given to my mum by the staff at Carnalea Care Home has been exemplary. They have always treated her with dignity and respect and provided person-centred care. As a family, we have always found the staff to be caring, friendly and professional in all dealings with them. Nothing is
too much trouble for them, and they always strive to go above and beyond in any requests. The care home itself is always immaculately clean and well presented.

My aunt was placed in Comber Care Home in Nov 2025 for rehabilitation after a long stay in hospital. She settled very quickly with the help of the staff who welcomed her and made her feel comfortable. My aunt was treated with dignity and respect and enjoyed getting to know the staff. It puts family's
mind at ease when your relative is being cared for and that they have really enjoyed being here. Thank you.

Clandeboye Care Home

The hardest thing you ever have to hear is that your loved one has to go into a nursing home. That was the situation we were in when we found clandeboye. My granny was extremely head strong and tried her best to be independent so we were worried about her transition from home but with Laura's help (and
telling her she was going to go stay in a hotel) the transition was smooth. Laura's dog was also such a life line! Wee Murphy became her wee chum! The staff went above and beyond with her personal care and her social well being. Encouraging her to interact with other residents and taking part in daily activities. Their activities coordinator Carmen is an absolute angel who goes the extra mile for every one of the residents. The support we got when granny was receiving end of life care and afterwards was so very much appreciated. The staff are worth their weight in gold and treated granny like family right up until the end in May 2025. We can never thank the staff at the home enough

Manor View Care Home

My husband's dementia went into a rapid, downward spiral towards the end of October 2025. For over a year, my objective had been to keep him safe, well, happy and at home. By October, despite his daughter and son-in-law putting their lives on hold and moving in with us, it became all too apparent that
this was no longer viable. We had been supported by my Minister and our GP throughout. Following hospitalisation and stabilisation, a room was made available at Manor View. As soon as I heard the news, I rang and asked if I could call and see where he would be staying. We live in the Bangor area, so I was able to call right away. The first thing that struck me was that I was welcomed warmly and given a tour of the suite where my husband would be staying. After such a drastic change in his life, his arrival in Manor View was like the sun coming out after a period of darkness. His care is exemplary, the staff are wonderful. Above all, my husband is happy.

This care home is second to none. My Mum received the dignity and respect she so deserved every single day she was there. I was always kept up to date with any test results or alerted to any concerns they may have had and I always felt we could ask them questions at any time. The support and compassion
we received at the very end was amazing and I cannot emphasise how much I would recommend this care home. ALL staff members were outstanding and I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and care they gave to my precious Mum.

During my mother's recent decline in health I feel that all the staff have been excellent. They have treated my mum with dignity and respect. Going to the home is not just like visiting my mum but visiting the whole family. The love and care given is not taken for granted and I know my mother is in
good hands.

I regularly vist my brother who is a long term resident. He has been bedbound for almost four years, so understandably can be difficult at times to deal with as he's in a lot of pain. The staff working with him couldn't be praised high enough doing a thankless job.

My cousin has been a resident in Comber Care Home for 2 years. I visit at least wice weekly. I always find the home spotless & smelling so fresh, staff are approachable and courteous, always have a smile and a kindly word for me. Nursing staff always inform me of Dr/Nurse visits and of any changes to
medication etc. The activity coordinators do a fantastic job with such varied activities and entertainment. I can only applaud the staff on the overall care given. My cousin saying 'Comber Care Home is my home now' means a lot as she feels happy and secure.

My uncle seems to be happy enough in Comber Care Home and so are we and he talks away to the girls who are more than helpful and friendly. He really enjoys the food as well. There is always someone in the office to discuss any problems.
