this was no longer viable. We had been supported by my Minister and our GP throughout. Following hospitalisation and stabilisation, a room was made available at Manor View. As soon as I heard the news, I rang and asked if I could call and see where he would be staying. We live in the Bangor area, so I was able to call right away. The first thing that struck me was that I was welcomed warmly and given a tour of the suite where my husband would be staying. After such a drastic change in his life, his arrival in Manor View was like the sun coming out after a period of darkness. His care is exemplary, the staff are wonderful. Above all, my husband is happy.

we received at the very end was amazing and I cannot emphasise how much I would recommend this care home. ALL staff members were outstanding and I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and care they gave to my precious Mum.

medication etc. The activity coordinators do a fantastic job with such varied activities and entertainment. I can only applaud the staff on the overall care given. My cousin saying 'Comber Care Home is my home now' means a lot as she feels happy and secure.

appointments are arranged when required. The staff are attentive, patient and caring with my mother and she is safe in their care. The staff are always attentive to my concerns, polite and informative and treat myself and my family with kindness and respect. Carnalea has changed my life, I no longer worry about her safety, I know she is well looked after and all her needs met. I have peace of mind.

health issues. My family and I were always content that my uncle was well looked ater and cared for. All the staff work hard to provide a home from home for the residents. I will always be grateful for the care they showed to my uncle.

and understanding of dads condition and always very approachable when answering any questions. I have recommended this home to other families looking for similar care.

support he has received to date, and he is treated with dignity and kept spotless. The facilities are great activities every day if you wish to take part. The home itself is spotless and is cleaned everyday. The food is very good a great choice and is always hot.

Management are seen to be hands on and very nice.Overall, I cannot fault this home so much so i have asked them hopefully to take my Mum as a rehab placement so i will keep you up to date on my next review.

from day one. She was allowed to have her meals in bed or to be assisted to the dining room, whichever she preferred.
One huge plus for Clandeboye is the design of the building; no stairs and only one circular corridor which encloses an outdoor courtyard. So if residents decide to go for a walk round, they can't get lost, there's only one corridor! Outdoor space is bright and cheerful, with a recently refurbished garden.
The daily activities provided for the residents are a real joy and everyone is encouraged to participate to the level of their ability. The facebook page regularly features residents enjoying crafts and games. We loved looking out for mum.
