On visiting my auntie, I always found the staff friendly and helpful. They appeared very busy, but still had enough time for visitor chats. On the night my auntie passed away the staff kept in touch with me and called me down to the home to be with her at the end which I really appreciated. The staff
were very attentive that night, offered us tea and biscuits. Nothing was a problem which made the whole process easier, I couldn't thank them enough.

Mum moved into Comber Care Home after long stay in hospital. She was run down and had been in bed for months. The staff got mum up and out of bed and got her hair done, she is well fed and looking amazing! It's like a miracle! She's getting properly looked after by such caring, happy kind staff - they
all smile and make mum feel safe. We are so pleased after all the worry that mum is in a great place! Thank you!

All staff in above care home are extremely kind and helpful. Not only to my father but to us as family and also to other visitors. The staff show patience and friendliness to the residents and display a warm sincere willingness to help all of them with any task, big or small.

I am so delighted to complete this review of the Comber Care Home. My mother has been a resident for 9 months and she is very content and happy due to the caring staff who attend to her needs on a daily basis. The staff give 100% effort everyday. Nothing is too much trouble. Always have a smile even
if they are short staffed. The home is cleaned daily and a thank you to the service staff for the maintenance of TV's and heating. The entertainment activities at Christmas were brilliant. Thank you all for making life worthwhile.

Very friendly hard working staff, who unfortunately at times seem overstretched! Appears a larger than average turnover of staff which is never a good sign in any business. I've met a few short stay people who were quite mobile and were complimentary about the home so perhaps it's the long stay residents
that require the most care I base my assessment on.

I write on behalf of my husband service user, who has resided in Comber Care Home for respite care this month. This care home is very comfortable, staff very kind and caring. When settled in my husband felt well cared for and we appreciate all the staff did to support all his needs.

Placed here for rehab - initially 8 weeks. Ended more like 14 weeks. 2 broken legs. One badly damaged knee, which took a long time to recover.
Staff outstanding 5 star rating. Care excellent. Food variable at best. As a trust founded, I cannot answer value for money.

My mother was immediately made to feel at home by staff. I was very pleased to see how they treated her with kindness and care. Her room is bright and comfortable. My mum has started to integrate with other residents which is great. I appreciate the care she is given and the updates I receive every

My uncle has been here just over a year now and loves it, we come nearly every day to visit. The staff cares so much for him. He speaks highly of all the staff. The care and support is great. The care staff deserve a shout-out as they do an amazing job and never stop. Overall a great care home.

We are delighted with the service given to my father during his 2+ years he resided at Comber Care Home.
He often told his visitors and people we met outside that the staff are very good to him and we could not ask for better. We agreed with this statement. We sincerely thank all staff for their dedication

As a former care worker myself, I am very impressed with the level of care given at Comber Care Home. I usually visit 2-3 times weekly and find the staff very welcoming and approachable. Good communication from nursing staff regarding doctors and other health care professionals' visits re-treatment
and medication. Great variety and regular activities. The home is always spotless which is a credit for the cleaning staff!

Up until now everything seems good, my Uncle has only been in Comber Care Home for a few weeks. But the staff I have met have been lovely and very attentive. The room is bright and airy and there was singing for the residents last week.

My mum has been a resident at Comber Care Home for over three years. I have nothing but praise for the care she has received from both the nursing staff and carers. I don't have much to say. But tell you the truth it's a very good home. The staff are very good I don't have to worry about anything, I only hate the level 4 food I don't know if I am eating fish or meat. I have bowel cancer at the moment I am losing the desire to eat. But I am happy for my life is
in the hands of my Lord Jesus and God and they are looking after me, I would like to thank you for good care home.
