Staff outstanding 5 star rating. Care excellent. Food variable at best. As a trust founded, I cannot answer value for money.

My mother was immediately made to feel at home by staff. I was very pleased to see how they treated her with kindness and care. Her room is bright and comfortable. My mum has started to integrate with other residents which is great. I appreciate the care she is given and the updates I receive every time I visit. (6 weeks in at this time)

So far I have enjoyed my stay at Comber. The staff are very good and friendly, you can have a good laugh with the staff.

My uncle has been here just over a year now and loves it, we come nearly every day to visit. The staff cares so much for him. He speaks highly of all the staff. The care and support is great. The care staff deserve a shout-out as they do an amazing job and never stop. Overall a great care home.

Would recommend this home to anyone.

He often told his visitors and people we met outside that the staff are very good to him and we could not ask for better. We agreed with this statement. We sincerely thank all staff for their dedication and loving service, making his stay a home from home.

My mum has been a resident at Comber Care Home for over three years. I have nothing but praise for the care she has received from both the nursing staff and carers. I understand how busy everyone is, but sometimes, there is quite a while to wait after buzzing. Everyone is very pleasant and does their utmost to keep my mum's dignity. I cannot thank them all enough.

The family couldn't have asked for any better care in the 4-weeks she was here. The staff were incredible with her, and very attentive to her names. Not only did they look after her but kept us very informed of all that was happening. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

I don't have much to say. But tell you the truth it's a very good home. The staff are very good I don't have to worry about anything, I only hate the level 4 food I don't know if I am eating fish or meat. I have bowel cancer at the moment I am losing the desire to eat. But I am happy for my life is in the hands of my Lord Jesus and God and they are looking after me, I would like to thank you for good care home.

No corners are cut in the provision of care at Comber Care Home.

Our experience of Mum's stay in the care home was very pleasing indeed. The accommodation was excellent and all staff friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble, would recommend Comber Care Home to others.

I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in March 2021. After my stay in hospital, I was sent to Comber Care Home to recover. The care was second to none, the staff very professional and friendly, excellent food.

Comber Care Home have excellent staff, residents are well cared for, very clean home, good food, always something going on for residents. Always kept up to date on the Facebook page. Highly recommend.

Staff are wonderfully helpful and made my father feel very welcome, good communication and very thoughtful at all times. My father enjoyed the food and the care was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we were sorry to have to move him closer to home. The kindness and professionalism were remarkable and the staff genuinely cared for the family too, very important at a time when it's difficult not to be able to visit normally.

Our 89-year-old father was transferred from the hospital to Comber Care Home in early January as an NHS patient for rehabilitation after Covid-19. The family live outside the area, so we knew nothing about the home and staff. As Covid restrictions limited our contact, we were naturally apprehensive. After almost nine weeks of excellent, professional and extremely kind care from all the staff, our father and family are very happy to recommend Comber Care Home. The staff have been wonderful. Management, maintenance staff, domestic assistants, care assistants, and nursing staff have all played a part in making his stay as good as it possibly could be. Sadly Dad needs to remain in nursing care, we are transferring him closer to home to facilitate easier visits post-Covid restrictions. If we could have brought Comber Care Home up the road to us, we would happily have kept Dad there! We will always be grateful that Dad was so well cared for at such a difficult time in his life.

They are all so lovely. The home have kept my dad safe during covid which has been really hard for us all but they have a Facebook page which is private for the families so we can see what they are doing throughout the week. My family loves to see the photos and events they do with my dad and he always looks so happy. If there is anything they think we need to know about my dad they are straight on the phone keeping us up to date. Thank you to all the staff from our family.

After bad press/media Care homes were receiving I was very hesitant at the start. Had I made the best possible choice for my father? The answer was yes. My family are overjoyed with the quality of and nature of care he receives. The dedication, professionalism and humanity of all the staff makes us more relaxed with my choice. He's happy, safe, well-fed and his health has improved from leaving hospital and entering Care home. We are so blessed to have these guys and helps my Mum feel more at ease as they've never been apart.
