Tudordale Care Home

Our mum was extremely well cared for in Tudordale Care home. We found all staff to be friendly, helpful, courteous and respectful. We were always kept informed of ongoing health issues in a timely manner. This goes for all nursing staff but the manager and deputy manager always advocated for my mum, ensuring she got the specific care she needed. They always tried to ensure my mum was happy with her 1-1 carer and stirred to maintain continuity. I can't praise the staff enough for their kindness and understanding in managing my mums episodal challenging behaviours. In the end Tudordale was like a second family.

Our mother has been in Tudordale since Dec 2025 and we are satisfied with the overall care she has received. The staff are attentive and always express a caring nature. The facility is always clean and tidy. Our only comment would be to have easy access to chairs for visitors to use in the day rooms or bedrooms.

I liked the atmosphere in the home, staff were always pleasant and patient with the clients. I'd visited one or two nursing homes prior to Tudordale but found the cleanliness of the Tudordale the best. I could say on behalf of my mother who had dementia that she was happy and content there. Staff in such a place make a place that cares for their clients and in this nursing home they were incomparable.

The staff and management of Tudodale Care Home are excellent! The care, compassion, understanding, humour and common sense shown are excellent. My father had been in their homes. Of them all, Tudordale was the most run and managed and the most understanding. The staff from the cleaners (excellent!!) to the manage and all inbetween, couldn't have been better or more gracious. The home itself, as a building, should be afforded more, to match and expand the staff's abilities and care. The outside car park and entrance should be improved to encourage others to view the home in its correct light.

There was one exceptional nurse who made extra efforts to adapt my mother's medication to make her life more comfortable and enjoyable and who kept us updated on her health. My mother loved the food. The place was spotless and lots of attention was paid to personal care for residents. Staff were friendly and warm to residents and family visitors. I spent a huge amount of time there with my mum in her last weeks and at all times was impressed with how they cared and looked after residents. There is also a nice little garden for residents and visitors to enjoy together.

Friendly staff who showed compassion during difficult time.

My father entered the home and spent the last 5 weeks of his life there. The care he received was exemplary. Several staff members went beyond the call of duty. The sensitivity of the staff during my father's final hours helped us as a family cope in very difficult circumstances.

I am very happy the way my husband was cared for. All the staff were brilliant with him and he got the care and support he needed and always kept you up to date on everything by phoning you and speaking to you if they had a phone a doctor if he was sick. All I can say is he was well looked after. Thank you all for your hard work.

Finally, no small cleaning and hygiene to be considered.

My father has lived at Tudordale for over one year. He tell me that he is happy and content. We too are happy with the care provided. Dad still retains independence and staff respect this whilst keeping him safe and healthy in times of need. The staff are friendly and caring. I would highly recommend Tudordale Care Home.

My mum was at Tudordale for 4 weeks before she passed away. The staff were so good with her. The end-of-life care she got was a great comfort to the family and we can't thank them enough. I would definitely recommend Tudordale Care Home.

Tudordale Care Home gave my dad a wonderful welcoming and safe environment to live out his last days. The staff were not only professional and attentive but they really care. The attention consideration they gave my dad was truly amazing. We could not fault anything about the place. His room, itself, was always kept warm and clean, the food was great and if he ever wanted anything different they would try and get it. Overall, we cannot thank the home enough for making a very difficult time more tolerable and giving us peace of mind.

The care my dad has received in Tudordale Care Home has been exceptional. Every single member of staff has shown outstanding commitment to looking after his every need. Such love, fun, attentiveness and genuine compassion are always evident. My dad has been so happy in Tudordale, he loves everyone there. The warmth and kindness of the staff is palpable. I would recommend the care home to anyone. It is truly a wonderful home.

My father was in the care home for nearly 5 years. He was very happy there and cared for very well by the staff. They always made time to talk to him and joke with him and were incredibly patient with him.

Mum has received the best of care and attention from the wonderful staff in Tudordale Care Home, who made her last few years of life more comfortable. Communication was great, keeping our family updated with Mum's daily care, and we built up a great deal of trust and friendships with many of the staff who cared for her.

My dad has been in Tudordale Care Home for some time and I am very satisfied with the home in general. All his needs are being catered for and above everything else, he is happy. He is well cared for - always fed and dressed and he's offered activities and stimulation. The staff are professional, caring and well-trained to deal with Dad's special needs. I am always kept well informed about any changes in my dad's health/needs. I can relax and be less stressed knowing he is in Tudordale Care Home.

My mum moved in two years ago, very confused with delirium on top of Alzheimer's. The staff had the necessary patience and kindness to help her settle in - also gave me great reassurance that she would settle in time. Staff became like extended family. Support over lockdown has been good - facebook photos etc and phone calls. Mum beams with joy when she sees her favourite carers and we know she is safe and well cared for.

Staff, apart from the manager, are wonderful and care is of a very high standard, despite often being short-staffed.
