My mother moved to above home in February 2013, followed by my father in April 2013. They lived in a new wing of the home in single rooms. The rooms are beautiful with authentic looking front doors. The beds are high/low with bed rails if required and pressure relieving mattress. The rooms are en-suite with TV's. Unfortunately my dad became very ill, and died in February 2014. His care was exemplary. My mother has dementia and is well looked after causing me less stress as I live in England.
My sister came to reside here on the 15th of January 2016. From day one, she was treated with extreme kindness and dignity. She can be difficult due to her illness but the nursing staff dealt with all her problems in a most professional manner. My sister has also taken on a more "cared for" appearance as compared and her previous time at home, when I couldn't provide all the care she required. I am very happy with her situation here. It also lifted a weight off my mind regarding her safety and well being. The staff have also shown me as a visitor, the same kindness and consideration they have shown my sister. Many thanks.
Kings Castle was one of the nicest care homes I have visited. The staff were very friendly and caring and dealt with everything in a dignified manner. Kings Castle was always clean with a fresh smell.
I found the care home very clean and comfortable. The staff were very professional and helpful both to the residents and their families. Over all I found the level of care to be excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to anyone.
I found Kings Castle Private Nursing Home to be a clean and a well managed nursing home, that extended a great level of care for my Grandmother and support for our family and friends visiting. The home was clean, spacious and well equipped in a beautiful setting, and the staff were friendly and treated my grandmother with dignity.
My mother has been a resident at King's Castle since December 2014 and I am extremely pleased with the care that she continues to receive. Staff members are very helpful and friendly at all times. In short, I am pleased that she is a resident here at King's Castle.
Great. I have enjoyed my stay. Staff are very good to me.
My experience has been nothing but good since my mum arrived at King's Castle Private Nursing Home. The staff introduced themselves and made us all welcome, right away a member of staff made my mum a cup of tea and toast, which she enjoyed and made her feel at ease right away. On the 25th July my mum was 90 years young, the staff went out of their way to make it special for her and they did.
My granny is being well looked after in King's Castle, the staff are very good with her. I like it that I can call at any time night or day to see my granny.
I find the home good, clean and friendly, but most of all my wife is at ease since her mum went into the home.
Every aspect of the care for my 90 yr. old mother is excellent. The premises is very well kept but the most important element is the care by the staff. They always go well beyond what is expected, going the extra mile for all the folk concerned at every opportunity. I have no hesitation in recommending the nursing home to anyone.
Kings Castle is exemplary in every way. My mother is treated with such care, love, dignity and respect. I have had other relatives as clients and have always been very content and happy with how their needs are met. I know when family members have died in their care we have been treated with such kindness and respect. It surely is a home from home.
My granny is in King's Castle, she loves it, and everyone who works in it have been so kind and thoughtful to her and to us when we visit her. She gets her hair done every week and this is very important to her.
My mother went to King's Castle seven weeks ago she settled very well quickly. The staff are very caring and kind to residents and visitors. Mu mother feels safe and secure and regards the Castle as her home. The food she talks about is excellent, she is happy an contented and safe. As a family we are more than happy with the care and consideration she receives and would recommend the Castle.
I have found the staff in King's Castle to be friendly and professional at all times. The building itself is always very well maintained and decorated and visitors are always made to feel welcome. Staff are always on hand to update family members on clients health and demeanour. The staff know all clients very well and spend as much time as possible talking to them all. The food is very nutritious and well presented to each client. This establishment could act as a great example for all others to follow.
King's Castle has been shown to us as a very respectful, caring, clean place for our relations to spend their last few years, we can only thank the staff for the care and respect that has been offered to them during their stay. King's Castle and staff are second to none in their caring and respect for their patients this in turn has taken a great responsibility off the shoulders of their families who can't thank them enough, again many thanks and may your establishment continue with all the good work and care you have shown us and our families. We were very grateful for the respect shown to us after the passing of our family members, your staff will always be in our thoughts, god bless.
