My father was a resident here for six years. He was always given the best care, the relationship all members of staff had with him was amazing, they would of gone above and beyond for him and any other resident. The home is always warm and clean when I call to see Mum. The staff are always pleasant and are kind, genuine and patient. Mum is happy and well looked after.

Melmount Manor has always felt so welcoming to me. The manager and staff know everyone by name and it feels like extended family. I feel my grandmother is so well looked after and always happy. She really enjoys the food and it’s great to see her maintain a healthy weight. On my visits, she often talks
about the activities that she has been doing and always has her hair and nails done. My grandmother feels safe and it’s like a home from home, it’s great for her to have such a good quality of life in her final years. We can decorate her room with all her personal belongings and it’s great to know the environment is always clean and tidy.

I feel the care centre itself is showing some signs of age but is still satisfactory in terms of accommodation.
I have found the staff a pleasure to talk to when I visit and keep me informed of any activities that my mother would like to take part in.

The manager and team have provided my mum with an excellent standard of care. Always helpful and willing to go that extra mile. My mum is well cared for, happy, safe and in the best place. The home is extremely well managed, clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing and I couldn’t have managed over
the last year without their support! I also like that I can see photos of activities on social media and my mum always looks happy and is having fun.

I find the standard of care very high within the home. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The new management team is very approachable. I would definitely recommend this care facility to other service users. My granny is very happy here.

The staff up at Melmount Manor Care Centre are absolutely brilliant. They are all very friendly and helpful any time I am in for a visit. They make sure the residents come first and are always in safe hands. They treat the residents just like family.
I love how they take time to make special days
like their Birthdays or Christmas that bit better and always keeping them busy with different activities. Especially during covid when families couldn’t do it.
The premises, including bedrooms are always very clean and safe.
I would recommend Melmount Manor 100% to anyone.

My mother received end of life care as if she was being cared for by loving family. I was supported as her daughter. I can't begin to express my gratitude. Mummy was loved, nursed and afforded every dignity.

The care my mum has had in Melmount Manor has been excellent, the staff go over and above to provide the residents with the utmost of care, and treat the residents like family. I am indebted to them, they are doing what I would love to be able to do in caring for my mum.

I am very pleased with the care my mum receives in Melmount Manor, unfortunately, due to the present circumstances we, as a family, are unable to visit every day like we would have done before COVID. Although Mum misses seeing her family, she is well cared for and happy, all staff are very friendly
and do all they can to meet her needs.
Mum’s hair is very important to her and the girls even attempt to style it in the absence of a hairdresser and make a good job of it, which delights Mum. Thank you, girls.
In whatever capacity the staff work, they always make time for a wee chat with the residents which in my opinion is very important.
This has been a very difficult time for health care workers, I always say the staff in Melmount Manor are angels on earth.

With visits having been stopped because of Covid-19, the staff have kept in touch on a regular basis, with updates about my father. While we can still phone and talk to my father, it's reassuring to know that he is being well looked after. Even though the staff are busier than ever, they have always

I couldn't ask for better care for my mother. The staff are all fantastic. We are always updated with our mothers care, progress and any treatments she requires.
The home itself is always well maintained and really clean. The food is great and my mother always enjoys her meals.

It was so kind of the staff to think of a window visit to allow me to see mum and it lifted both our spirits.
