Ocean Breeze care home is set in the town of New Milton in the New Forest, in an ideal position close to the local shops and seafront.

Having undergone a full refurbishment, the home has been expertly coordinated by Diana Calella, award winning dementia interior designer. The home's bedrooms all has ensuite, communal areas, landscaped gardens and many more exciting and unique facilities.

Located in a quiet road, in the village of Barton on Sea, New Milton, Ocean Breeze is within easy access of Lymington and Christchurch.

A team of highly trained care staff aim to create a home from home atmosphere with a compassionate feel, fully involving families and friends in the care of their loved ones. Care practices reflect a holistic, person centered approach with each resident each of whom will have their own key worker who will ensure their wellbeing is being met at all times. The home operates full Person Centre Care Plans which are developed with the service users, family to ensure that the individual lives his or her life to the full.

Running fully supervised visits to local attractions and places of interest as suitable to each of the residents, with a varied activity programme, also facilities such as a hairdresser, local entertainers and visiting professionals for beauty treatments, chiropody, reflexology and other services as required.

Staff are happy to be able to offer day care and respite periods. This is subject to assessment to ensure staff can provide the correct care where required. There are also free limited day spaces for people living alone over the Christmas period. Please contact the home for availability.

I am no longer able to live by myself due to age and illness, so have been looking for a placement in full-time care. My family and I spent much time in search of the perfect care home. After research into many residential care homes, Ocean Breeze care home proved to be the most suitable care home for
my welfare, for my life. Run by a family concern, we chose this superb care home for offering me superb accommodation. An amazing family run concern with a town nearby with the highest of standards.

My Mum was in Ocean Breeze for just under 3 years till she sadly passed away from old age in October 2020. During her time at the home, she was treated with dignity and kindness. The care team couldn’t do enough to help her, encouraging her to take part in activities even though sometimes she was reluctant.
I can not fault Mum’s end of life care, she always wanted to die in her sleep in her home and she got her wish, surrounded by familiar voices her family. I was allowed to visit Mum and hold her hand and cuddle her in the final days which was a comfort to me. The home is a family and Mum and I were part of that family.

My father-in-law has been at Ocean Breeze for two years. The management and staff ensure that his health and wellbeing is taken care of accordingly. We are kept informed and updated of any changes in his wellbeing weekly or if needed daily. We are always made welcome. Since Covid 19, things have been
difficult but Ocean Breeze work to maintain stability for all concerned. It is a credit to management and staff for ensuring that father-in-law is in good hands and we feel confident that he is well looked after.

Ocean Breeze Care Home really is a home to its residents. The staff treat everyone as if part of a family. Residents are cared for, entertained and fed extremely well. The standard of food offered is very good and anytime a resident may want alternatives, their requests are always positively met. I
truly believe my mother could not have been better cared for anywhere. The staff are amazing and the welcome extended to the friends and families of residents is so warm and genuine.
Ocean Breeze is a really happy and caring home, a real 'home'.

Back in March when my sister and brother in law went into Ocean Breeze Residential Care Home, my brother in law only had 9 days there before he died. I cannot speak highly enough of the attention, dignity and care and love that was shown to him in his last 3 days he was dying. Overall I am satisfied
with the general standard of the home. The staff work hard and treat people with love and respect and my sister, considering the grief still, has settled very well. The biggest factor of annoyance is the laundry when my sister gets other peoples clothes and on occasion has been wearing them.

Mum came to Ocean Breeze from a long stay in hopsital and I've been amazed at how well she has been built up from a frail condition by super dedicated staff concentrating on her every need.
Every day the time if filled up with lovely activities that everyone enjoys, mum has taken part in things she

My mother was previously in another local home where she did not leave her room on any occasion. I felt that this was not good for her at all and so after one month we moved her to the Ocean Breeze Residential Care Home. What a difference the staff at Ocean Breeze have made, my mother now looks forward
to joining in the homes many activities and is visibly so much happier. I cannot praise the staff enough for their genuine care, nothing is a problem to them and they always have a smile on their faces no matter what they are facing. My mother is 96 years old and we now expect her to be around for a long time yet thanks to the brilliant care that she enjoys at this home.

My dear Mum is a resident of this lovely establishment. She is in need of one on one care and after 18 homes had turned my Mum down Ocean Breeze did what was necessary to provide the care needed by employing extra help. The staff are very friendly and professional. The home itself is clean and has a
bight happy feel to it. They spend time doing lots of activities each day. The food is of a high standard too. The manager and deputy manager are the best, extremely knowledgeable and very professional.

I was very impressed by the cleanliness, care and compassion that I witnessed. I work at a social service agency in Canada and have high expectation of standards, so I believe I scrutinized more than the average individual.
I was also impressed by the constant activities that were taking place to

What a lovely day the residents were having when l popped in. Some were in the garden enjoying the sun all under gazebos with beautiful sun hats on and cool drinks, while others were having a sing song in the lounge. All songs were ones that most residents would know and they were all joining in. They
have just had a very successful garden fete with lots of family and friends attending, a huge raffle and lots of prizes and as usual, everyone made to feel very welcome. I was unable to stay late on the day l called but l wish l had, as l saw the most amazing strawberry cake, all home made ready for tea. This home is spotless and caters for the residents every need and all visitors are made to feel so welcome, l love going there, it's always smiley faces. Well done all staff, you should be very proud of yourselves.
