Mum is very happy and content in Beech Hall. The staff are very caring and friendly, they treat Mum with love and respect. There are always plenty of activities for Mum to join in with. The staff are always friendly to visitors and keep us informed of any concerns to Mum's well-being. Mum says she can't
fault it, the food is lovely and the staff look after her and take care of all her needs. The home and rooms are always clean and tidy. I would have difficulty finding a fault with the home.

Mum was in two different care homes before Beech Hall. Both care homes were nice but Beech Hall outshines both of them, hands down. The staff are really helpful and so friendly. Mum is really happy here. The manager is unbelievable and also runs a tight ship. I could not wish for my mother to be in
a better care home and they make a lovely cup of tea!

Beech Hall is just the most wonderful place for my nana to spend her time. The team are incredible, so caring and supportive and really work hard to ensure that my nana's needs are met and communicate clearly with us, as a family, to make sure they know my nana as a person and provide truly personalised
and holistic care. I have been visiting with my own daughter (1-year-old) since she was both always greeted warmly and feels part of the family. They go above and beyond to help us celebrate special times and everyone, from management, reception, care staff, catering and cleaning, are just fabulous!

The home is comfortable and cosy. The staff are very friendly to both residents and families and always make us feel welcome. There seem to be plenty of activities which residents are encouraged to take part in. All seem to be very run with care.

On walking in the building you are immediately wrapped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are caring and approachable and treat my mum with dignity and care. There are always activities taking place that Mum can take part in and relatives and visitors are always made welcome. It was a hard
decision to place Mum into care but made easier by the care and warmth of the staff and the way the home is run.

This care home deserves a really positive review. The staff are excellent and very professional. The carers that work here are very attentive to the resident's needs and nothing is too much trouble for them. The exterior and the interior are spotlessly clean and tidy and well maintained (no nasty smells
here!) Overall everybody is well looked after and I would thoroughly recommend it. 10/10.

Mum was admitted from another care home. I came to visit the home beforehand from recommendation. I knew this would be perfect for Mum. First impressions were spotlessly clean, the staff are unbelievably friendly and know all the resident's names. There are regular activities which Mum loves. Rooms
are large with en-suite. Im so glad we have found this home for Mum.

Excellent care home, the kindest staff who treat my Dad with love and respect. I don't want my Dad to be in a care home but if he has to be somewhere I can't think of anywhere better. Excellent joint working with the GP service and so many activities to keep the residents occupied and mobile.
When
my Dad went in the home the manager said we were all part of a big family and I didn't believe that could be true but 6 weeks down the line it really does feel like that.

A fabulous home with very caring staff who have made a very hard decision to put my Dad in a home more bearable. Lots of activities going on for residents. When we first arrived with Dad we were told we were now part of the Beech Hall family and it certainly feels like it.

Current Review Score: 10.0 (9.958)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.958) out of 10 for Beech Hall is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 32 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.958 for Beech Hall is calculated as follows: ( (363 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 379 Ratings = 4.958
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beech Hall is based on 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 64 registered maximum number of service users is 12.8, which has been reached with 32 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
