Grace Court Care Centre is a purpose-built care centre providing accommodation for people living the the St Helens area of Merseyside.
The care centre is located one mile from St Helens town centre, just off Prescot Road (A58) and adjacent to Morrisons supermarket. The local bus stop is located outside and secure parking is provided to the rear.
Grace Court Care Centre is split into two units Willow Lodge as well as Rowan Lodge and Ash Lodge. Both units provide care for residents who require EMI nursing care.
The unit Rowan Lodge and Ash Lodge provides spacious accommodation for people who require varying levels of EMI nursing care. Within this unit the accommodation comprises of two separate lounges both providing access to the dementia garden, which provides a secure, calming and a tranquil environment.
The unit Willow Lodge provides accommodation along with a separate garden area and a separate lounge and dining room. Willow Lodge provides accommodation for residents who suffer dementia but have more challenging needs. The physical environment of Willow Lodge is designed to assist those residents who have challenging behaviour as a result of living with dementia.
The care centre aims to respect the dignity of each resident and maintain its philosophy of quality care. It provides all staff with ongoing training which allows each staff member to understand the needs of each resident and enhance their knowledge of dementia.
