We were treated as family and you could see the genuine upset they were feeling for dad during this time as they described there own stories of his time there and sharing their own tears! He has been a resident since December 2023 with dementia and has always been happy and never once asked to leave or go home!
Dad has always loved his food and the chefs did a fantastic job of keeping him well fed. He also loved being with Shawn and Geoff and being a part time office manager!! The leadership of this team is fantastic and all of the staff are amazing working in a tough job with a smile and always there to help!
We are forever grateful for the love and care he has received.
Thank you so much for your lovely, lovely review. We all miss dad as a team and he was a part of our little family here, as were you all. I will pass on your lovely words to the rest of the team!
I could not be happier with the care my mother is receiving at Ty Nant. The staff (led by Kathy) are amazing. They are kind, dedicated, patient and genuinely care about my mam. The facility itself is spotless and comfortable. The administration is efficient and always available. The kitchen staff are lovely and are constantly engaging with the residents. The food is varied and looks to be tasty. Despite the sad circumstances, I am grateful and relieved to have found Ty Nant for mam.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We're so pleased to hear how happy you are with the care your mother receives at Ty Nant. Your kind words about whole team mean a great deal. We look forward to sharing such positive words with them, as we know they take great pride in creating a warm, supportive environment for every resident
I regularly visit my friend's mother at this care home, and I've consistently been impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They treat residents with genuine compassion and patience. The environment feels safe and clean. I've noticed how staff take time to engage residents in conversation and activities, which makes a real difference to their mood and well-being.
We're so pleased that you are happy with the care your friend's mum receives here at Ty Nant, she really is part of our little family. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review, I will pass your kind words on to the rest of the team.
I can't fault any staff working here, from top - down all seem to muck - in very, very helpful. I try to avoid having food which is excellent.
Thank you for taking to time to leave a review. It's pleasing to hear that you feel everyone works together in meeting your husband's needs and they are all very helpful. We'll be sure to share your feedback with the team. Thanks again.
Both my parents were at Ty Nant, Mum only for a short period but she received the best care while she was there. Dad was at Ty Nant for over 3 years, he had the best support from staff both emotionally and physically. He sadly passed away in November. The whole outlook of this care home is very positive. The staff are excellent at their jobs and go above and beyond to look after everyone including myself and extended family. I never felt as though anything was too much trouble. The manager was always at the other end of the phone and answered my emails promptly when I needed help. Will miss all of them very much.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It means so much to hear such positive feedback and I know myself and the team will miss working with you all as a family to get the best outcomes for Mum and Dad. Thank you for your kind donation to our Resident Fund and for your unwavering support of the Home. I will make sure this review is shared with the team.
The staff here are second to none and we will be forever grateful for the care and attention they gave to our mother.
During the last few weeks of her life, the staff were exceptional and ensured our mother's last days were very peaceful and dignified.
As a family we cannot thank them enough for the care they gave our mother.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are pleased to hear that your mother had 7 happy years with us at Ty Nant. Our team strives to provide exceptional care and attention to all our residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity, especially during their final moments. It's reassuring...
We had to move my father-in-law to Ty Nant in October 2023 for the increased care they offered for his condition, from the first phone call to them we knew this was an extra special place, and upon meeting staff, our minds were put at rest that our decision to choose Ty Nant was the right one.
The care from day one to the final days of care of our beloved father and grandfather was exceptional.
We cannot thank the manager and the team for the care and love they gave him, we just wish we had been able to move him there earlier.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are so pleased to hear such positive feedback and are very glad to hear that moving into Ty Nant was able to provide some ease of mind to you and the family. We will pass on your gratitude to the manager and the team, who will be very pleased, as...
The entertainment that they put on was also amazing and we had many a lovely day out with my dad.
As a family, we were overwhelmed with this care home and they definitely cared for our amazing dad.
Thank you for this kind review, it was an absolute privilege caring for dad, immediate and extended family. I will ensure that all of your comments are shared with the whole team, we will miss dad and you all as a family.
My mother was a resident at Ty Nant Care Home for over 5 years. Mam loved living at Ty Nant and regarded it as her home and somewhere she was safe and well looked after. For me, my sister and my brother personally it was a weight off our shoulders to know that she was safe and well looked after and the staff all t thought a lot of her. The care at the care home is second to none so a big thank you to the Managers. Having spent a lot of time at Ty Nant we got to know most of the staff really well! The entertainment team, kitchen, nurses, carers, cleaning and laundry staff were so good we never had a complaint in five years. When mam passed away in April Ty Nant went over and above their duties to care for her and us at this sad time. That will never be forgotten.
Thanks for your lovely review the team will be delighted.
Mum has been in Ty Nant since February 2020 until sadly Mum passed away peacefully June 1st 2023 at Ty Nant with the most caring staff that made her so comfortable until the end.
Ty Nant staff have treated us amazingly they have all been like our extended family whilst caring for mum through very difficult times, for us there has never been any question from day one that Mum was in the best care home once we could no longer care for her.
So thank you All your an amazing team and we wish Ty Nant all the best for the future
I will pass these comments on to all the team, your kind words will mean so much to them.
Our mum has been on respite here for a month and we like what is being done for her and the other residents. We have chosen this home for her now to live in permanently as sadly we can't care for her at home anymore. The people here are so caring, attentive and willing to listen to what the families have to say about the care of our loved ones and we feel that she's being cared for well. All staff feel like family and are fantastic, they work hard.
Thank you for the kind review of the home, we are pleased that your mum is receiving very good levels of specialist care. The staff in the home are highly trained and experienced in dealing with the needs of patients living with dementia.
As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed immediately and helped. Our relative was brought to us in the dining room. She is so content and well cared for here - we can only praise the staff. The home is warm and clean and so different to any other care home we have visited. The staff enjoy their work and genuinely like their involvement and their work. Thank you all very much!
Thank you for this lovely review! We work hard at Ty Nant Care Home to ensure families are warmly welcomed, when they visit. I will share this with the team who will be thrilled with the feedback, as it means so much to all of us.
My husband spent his last 11 weeks at Ty Nant and I could not have asked for a better place for him to be. The staff were kind and caring and also very supportive of myself and my family. I cannot thank them enough.
Thank you so much for your kind review. The staff team will be delighted with the feedback.
Our dad was a resident at Ty Nant care home until he sadly passed away in July. We cannot thank Ty Nant care home enough for the love, care and dignity you gave Dad. Also, the support we were given, as a family. We couldn't have wished for a better care home. A big thank you to all staff. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
All of us at Ty Nant would like to thank you for that beautiful review. It was a pleasure to look after Dad and get to know you as a family, we miss you all. I will pass on your kind words to the team. Many thanks.
Continuing care for Dad (who has vascular dementia and can be very challenging at times) has been second to none. The staff have persevered with him liaising with the dementia team and GP to try and get the best possible outcome. They keep us continually posted on his progress. When we have our visits with Dad they go out of their way to ensure we're all comfortable and get the best visit we can. They have learned so much about his personality without input from us which tells me they are invested in him, as a person. I can't recommend Ty Nant enough. The home is warm, clean with a friendly/welcoming atmosphere. So glad we made the change.
You have no idea how much this means to us as a Home. Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. We will continue to strive to work toward providing the very best Dementia care for Dad and we enjoy working with you as a family. Your review will be shared with the team and in particular, Dad's keyworker.
This care home is second to none. Every member of staff from the manager down are kind, caring, compassionate and have the rare ability to display common sense. The food is excellent, the environment clean and well maintained, yet homely. My aunt was transferred from another residential home where she was extremely unhappy. She is now the happiest she has ever been in years. I have been a registered nurse/sister within the NHS for 40 years and would highly recommend Ty Nant, it is in fact, outstanding.
Thank you for your kind review. The management and staff team strive very hard to make Ty Nant the best care home in the locality.
My mum became a resident on October 13th 2021 and I can only heap praise on all the staff I’ve encountered, since admission to Ty Nant Care Home. I couldn’t have wished for anywhere better and wouldn’t want Mum to be anywhere else, the staff are all wonderful. Mum has been incredibly unwell over the last few weeks and the staff have had their work cut out, to say the least. She has been looked after so unbelievably well and with kindness. They are all doing a remarkable job and I would highly recommend Ty Nant Care Home
Many thanks for your kind review. The hard-working staff team and management are delighted that you are happy with the care and attention given at the home.
Since Mum's admission, all nurses, care staff and managers have been very supportive, not only to Mum but to extended family. The care they have provided is excellent, always assessing holistically, nothing is too much trouble for them. Social care is a big part to ensure patients feel as normal as possible, providing entertainment for patients and families to attend. As a family, we are confident that Mum is treated with the utmost dignity and respect.
Many thanks for your excellent review and kind words. We at Ty Nant feel privileged to look after mum and working along side you as a family. I will pass on your kind words to the staff team!
A very good place, really friendly and happy which gives good vibes for both patients and visitors. Staff are always happy to look after patients' needs.
Many thanks for your kind words - I will pass these on to the rest of the staff who will be very pleased.
This is a very well run home with friendly happy staff. We are so happy to have found such a lovely home for my husband.
Many thanks, the hard working management and staff team at Ty Nant will be delighted.
