We have welcomed Kate's appointment, it is good having e mail contact with her.
It has been a process getting staff to adapt the new measures around Dad's eating, the placemat is a good initiative, however we have had to prompt staff to read it .
In October we had issues with how cold Dad's room was
, re windows being left open and heating not on. As a result we have bought him thicker socks and sweat shirts . The heating is now fully on so the situation is resolved.
We had an issue with not being notified of a change in meds taking for Dad .
We are still getting times when we visit and Dad is in his room with no telly on . Dad spends a lot of time on his own so telly is his company . He does benefit from time in the lounge , please can you chase up his OT assessment, hopefully he will be able to do this daily.
We still have concerns of the length of time Dad is on his own , for his psychological well being we would like him to have some interaction every hour , please advise . Thanks
Reply from Stuart Davies, Quality Compliance Manager at Morgana Court and LodgeThank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you are happy with Kate's appointment and the communication she provides, as we appreciate how important open and regular communication is for families.
We understand the issues you raised regarding Dad's meal support, room temperature, medication updates, and social interaction have been discussed with Kate as Clinical Lead, and that they have, and continue to be addressed.
We welcome you to continue raising any further concerns directly with the Clinical Lead, and Home Manger, so that they can be addressed promptly, and reassurances given.

My husband has been a resident at Morgana Court since August 2024 and he is so settled and well cared for. As soon as I walk into Reception I am made to feel so welcome. It is such a lovely atmosphere. The nurses and carers are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for them. There are many activities
going on each day and for special occasions. Although my husband has difficulty communicating, he is always included. The Activity Co-ordinators are lovely. The Catering, Laundry, Cleaning and Maintenance staff are so helpful nothing is too much trouble for them. My husband is happy here, and our family and friends are really impressed with Morgana Court. Thank you everyone.

My mum has been a resident since May 2022. Since my mum's admission to Cwrt Enfys Care Home the care & support given to my mum has been second to none. My mum is a resident at Ty Enfys & needs 24 hour nursing care as she has complex needs. The staff always treat her with respect & dignity at all times.
I can't thank the entire staff enough & for this I will always be grateful. Also as far as cleanliness the whole home is absolutely spotless. I also write my review on behalf of my Dad who is 96 years of age soon & he is more than grateful for all the care my mother receives.
