Dad couldn't walk or talk so very hard for staff but they knew his moods and needs from his facial expressions ill always be forever grateful that he spent the last 2 years of his life there just wish he couldve gone there years before this was his fourth and final placement the other homes he was in wasnt a good experience for him.

The home enjoys a relaxed atmosphere for residents and their visitors, yet the staff are all professional, efficient and clearly care for the residents. Every resident's appearance was immaculate and the home provides activities to entertain them.

We as a family have found 'The Hollies' a lovely and friendly environment for Audrey. Entertainment is provided and residents are treated as family. Our mother is happy and above all well cared for. One 'bug bear' is the inner door to enter the care home. The waiting time for somone to let you in, can be a bit long.

Very happy with the care Mum receives from all the staff at The Hollies. She's settled well and I am so grateful that she now has the care that she needs, and it's a relief to me that she is looked after so well. She's very happy there, which is the important thing.

As full time carers for my mam we needed some respite. Millview care home, manager & staff went above and beyond to accomodate Mam so we could have a break. Mam received excellent care and attention. Every member of staff was so friendly & helpful even when they were under so much pressure they were absolutely amazing.

It was a pleasure to visit my brother at Mill View Care Home staff were kind & caring towards him; nothing was too much trouble. If I needed anything, he spent twenty months there and enjoyed every minute

Decoration of rooms can be improved.

My sister in law has been at Mill View for nine months. She lived alone for twenty years since her husband passed. Went into Mill View after having a few falls and was afraid to be on her own. She says if I die tomorrow, I have had nine months of feeling spoilt. She is so happy the staff are absolutely wonderful. We would not want her to be anywhere else.

The staff at the home are always caring and considerate in their interactions with my mother and helpfull to myself and my family. As her dementia has deteriorated they have sought to find ways of dealing with it and engaging with outside agencies. The buildind is kept clean and clothing and bedding are laundered on a daily basis.

It's clear that, for the staff at Milview it is not just a job. They clearly care for the people they look after and we can't thank them enough for the way they cared for Mam.

We are forever grateful for the love and care he has received.

The love and care Danielle and her team showed my father will forever stay with me. The last 4 weeks of my dads life were spent being so well cared for and he was content which meant the world to us as a family

When my mother was being transferred from the RGH to Mill view I was both happy that she would no longer be staying at the hospital but also had an element of concern, would she be looked after the way we wanted?? It took my 1st greeting to the home to know that we had made the right decision. The staff here are absolutely fantastic at what they do!! Kept us updated on my mams health, we're always welcoming and approachable, had a bond with my mam that was beautiful to see and took care of her like she was their own family. I know my mam was happy, comfortable, looked after and felt at home here and as a family we are so grateful to ALL staff for everything they done for my mam and us. I would recommend Mill view to anyone who wants the ease and peace of mind of knowing their loved ones are having the love, patience, dedication, care and dignity they so need at their end of life. I could not be happier with the care my mother is receiving at Ty Nant. The staff (led by Kathy) are amazing. They are kind, dedicated, patient and genuinely care about my mam. The facility itself is spotless and comfortable. The administration is efficient and always available. The kitchen staff are lovely and are constantly engaging with the residents. The food is varied and looks to be tasty. Despite the sad circumstances, I am grateful and relieved to have found Ty Nant for mam.

I regularly visit my friend's mother at this care home, and I've consistently been impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They treat residents with genuine compassion and patience. The environment feels safe and clean. I've noticed how staff take time to engage residents in conversation and activities, which makes a real difference to their mood and well-being.

I have used this service since May 2025 and find it very useful. I have had the help of the nurses to get washed and dressed every morning.

Care is excellent. She is looked after very well and is always clean & tidy. She is very happy here and I am confident she is having the best care.

I can't fault any staff working here, from top - down all seem to muck - in very, very helpful. I try to avoid having food which is excellent.

The care given to my dad here is above and beyond the staff are wonderful people and I feel privileged they are caring for my beloved dad thank you all from the bottom of my heart as I know he is safe and will want for nothing
