Staff very friendly and the care is very good. The standard of accommodation and facilities is reasonable.
My mother has settled in well and there have been no (unusual) problems.
The administration is good and no complaints.
Minor niggle is that they could have used Zoom or Teams to maintain contact
between resident and guests during Lockdown.

All staff are extremely attentive to my mum and her every need is catered for with a high level of care and dignity. Hygiene and safety standards during Covid are above and beyond expectations. So thankful we chose Daffodil Lodge for my mum.

Used for respite care for my mother. A fantastic home and lovely staff, also the rooms are pleasant and I was told the food was very nice. My mother really enjoyed it here. Thank you.

Went to visit my godmother. What a friendly kind staff there is at this care home. My godmother was very comfortable and settled in her new home. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The meals look very nice and it was nice to see the love hearts around the home for Valentine’s Day. Keep up the good work.

Daffodil Lodge provided a very secure and happy environment for my husband. The staff are kind, empathetic and ever ready to help. The food is excellent and the room met all our needs. The management is efficient and responsive. We really like it there.

Nice environment - colours and imitation flowers, butterflies etc. Each door has been painted different colours.

My criteria was:- Clean, Comfortable, Caring and somewhere that I would feel relaxed. Daffodil Lodge ticked all the boxes.
Where it does fail, in my opinion, is a lack of mental stimulation for the residents. The afternoons are boring after pleasantries have been exchanged. Some activities are
needed.

I find Daffodil Lodge Care Home an excellent Care Home, my husband is having respite care but would like this to be more permanent. The Staff are wonderful and caring with all residents and been a great help to my husband, as well as myself, as I am just out of hospital after a bypass operation. They
gave me the support I needed as before my husband went into care I was finding it so hard to cope and at the end of my tether but now it is a pleasure to visit him as he enjoys the company of other residents and the staff. I often visit and find them having a sing-along and all very vocal and quite amazing how they remember most of the words but enjoying every note! I would definitely recommend this Care Home to anyone having to put a loved one into care be it permanent or for some respite.

My Husband cam for respite for 2 weeks, he is still here, and hopefully, he will be able to stay full time. I have been his full-time carer for the last five years and it was getting difficult for me to cope.
All the staff have been very helpful and given excellent support to my Husband and myself.
It has been a very difficult few weeks. I am very confident with all the care we have been given, I can't praise the staff enough.
